The idea is pretty simple. I'm trying to get the WG to make some sort of "patchwork quilt"--people can come in and add a patch to represent a piece of themselves, and the whole thing is a picture of what the WG is like as a whole. Or something like that.
Anyway. Here's how it goes:
1. Reserve your post.
2. Download the current quilt from the previous post.
3. Using your favorite image editing software, add a new patch that measures 25 x 25 pixels. You can attach it to the top, bottom, left, right, wherever, as long as it's connected to the current quilt.
4. Save, then upload the new quilt to your image host of choice. (Note: Photobucket tends to resize large pictures, so I'd avoid it when the quilt starts to get really big. Try perhaps Imgur instead? We'll see.)
5. Post the quilt for all to see! (Once it gets pretty big, I'd suggest spoiler tags or outright hyperlinking. We'll see.)
Don't worry! Your piece doesn't have to be overly complicated or artsy-fartsy. Just something that gives a piece of who you are, and is all. You're free to come back and add more pieces, though I guess don't hog the whole thing?
