It's Back!    For those of you that have never played the vending machine game...the rules are quite simple. Simply write the prize the for the person above you and don't forget to insert your token. Example Post: You get a giant lollipop! Inserts token. Don't forget to insert your token! Oh, oh, and you can't give yourself a prize. You must wait for someone else to post before posting again. It's only fair...to ensure everyone gets a turn. You can play as often as you like though. Regulars may or may not receive random gifts on occasion. Using quotes is not necessary unless to skip over people not obeying the rules. Using quotes to skip over people you dislike is not allowed. Prize goes to person above you always unless that person is clearly not following the rules in which case quotes becomes necessary. New News found in Post 2.  Enjoy! & Beware! You play at your own risk. I own this machine but I am not responsible for the prizes received from your tokens. This vending machine has bad days too...not all prizes will be as sweet as a lollipop. You've been warned! Also ownership of this particular machine can not be transferred to another user at anytime. Official UVM prizes will come from Lorette Lotus only in the form of a trade. Please do not send donations of any type in the prize trade. Prize trades will be canceled until you accept the prize as FREE! Donations are only accepted in trades titled Donation.Thank you.   Alright so now what makes this the ULTIMATE in vending machines, your asking? Well, this vending machine has a sweepstakes element to it. When you post in this thread you are eligible to win random prizes from none other than myself, Lorette Lotus. There is no purchase necessary. So where do these tokens come from? Well, answer is, thin air I suppose. Like magic just as you step up to the machine...a token appears in your hand. Some suggest they are made by incarcerated Oompa Loopas but it has yet to be proven. Is there an insurance policy in case I lose a finger or get food poisoning and need to see a doctor? Absolutely not! You were warned. Read the fine print. May I return my prize for gold or make an exhange? This isn't a store. There are no exchanges. You may not return the prizes for gold...remember you didn't pay any gold either. Tis free. You may try to shove the prize back into the machine but you will have no such luck. You get what you get and if its bad...well hopefully its not permanent. What if I really don't like my prize? Tough nougats. The machine tends to treat you how you treat it and others. In some cases it may just not like you. If you feel this is your case then it would be most wise to not play. This machine does not play favorites...Lorette Lotus does sometimes but the machine doesn't. It is souless. Without emotion. Cold, vacant, and void of feeling anything at all. Does anything good come out of the vending machine cause your scaring me? For sure! Sometimes really, really, really wonderful things come out of the vending machine. The stuffs the dreams are made of and a lot more saccharine sweetness. Sometimes you may even receive a real prize from Lorette Lotus through the Gaia trade system. The trade will only be completed when it is clear that you are receiving the prize for free. Nothing else should be sent to Lorette in that trade. Just take the free gift and do with as you please. Can I win real Gaia prizes in from playing the Ultimate Vending Machine? You may, in fact, win real prizes for Gaia from Lorette Lotus from playing the Ultimate Vending Machine. You must post within the rules to be eligible to win. Post often to increase your chances of winning. Bigger prizes are available to Angels through dice contests. These people amaze Lorette Lotus in more than one way. All real prizes won will come by trade from Lorette Lotus. If you do not wish to accept the prize simply cancel the trade. Lorette Lotus will never ask for your password so please do not send them to her EVER. Who are the Angels? The Angels are people that are being rewarded for creativity and uniqueness. These people met 6 secret objectives. Only one of which has to do with the number of posts a person has made. People that post a lot are giving themselves more opportunities to meet the six secret requirements plus they are at the same time increasing their chances of receiving an odd random prize for real and possibly earning Lucky Devil status on the Angels list. However posting often doesn't automatically get you on the Angels list. Either way your probably getting a prize from someone or something unless of course the machine hates you. In which case your just outta luck and outta love. No one I know can help you. Do the Angels help moderate the Ultimate Vending Machine Thread or act on the behalf of Lorette Lotus? No. Nope. Nada. No. Prizes won officially will come by trade from Lorette Lotus and Lorette Lotus only. Others may join in the spirit of random giving and gift you a real Gaia prize but they do so out of the kindness of their little Gaian hearts. The only moderators of this thread are Lorette Lotus and her alter ego Sapphire Sunday and any actual Gaia moderator which is easily recognizable by their brightly color coated username. The only thing Angels get to do that others participating in this thread shouldn't do is roll the dice when posting. Angels get to because they are awesome as alluded to in a previous question. If you don't understand this you probably shouldn't be posting in this thread. Does Lorette Lotus go by any other name on Gaia? Yes...her Gaia alterego is Sapphire Sunday.
