The AAY is a Boss in a video game.
What strategy is needed to beat them?

^First thing to do is kill all lights, then follow the sounds to find him and unload on his with everything you got! Now's the time to use those grenades you've been saving.

AsuraSyn will dive right into the magma. That's your chance.
You can't jump in after them, of course, but you can push a molten rock over where AsuraSyn is supposed to surface.
You can tell where that is when a certain piece of the floor begins to rock and tremble.
Once you've pushed the rock over it, they'll have an awfully hard time escaping the hardening floor.
(It's humerus, because later on your journey when the volcano erupts, you'll see a little cameo of a "frozen" Asurasyn crashing to the ground).
Puppet alternates between fighting at normal size, and growing 40x as large.

When you are fighting him at your size:
Dodge all of his attacks. He's very quick, and will use a lot of attacks with the 'slight of hand' move he has. It is a modifier that is basically a game cheat for him.

When he grows to 40x your size:
When he takes off his hat, get out of the area, as he is trying to trap you beneath it.
Your main objective here is to put out his eyes.
Aim for the gap in his smile.

He will send zombie rabbits after you. Do not let them hit you or he will shrink again and become more agile and harder to hit.

He is most vulnerable when he is larger, as he moves a lot more slowly. But of course, his moves are more powerful in this mode, so be careful...

^ (it's Humorous XD Humerus is the bone in your upper arm <3 )
Irised mainly will go all out and try to kill you from a distance.

You will have no choice but to confront her in close combat because she will shoot your projectiles out of the air, but this will distract her from shooting you directly and let you get closer.

In close combat, she will wield her pistol like a club in one hand and a knife in the other.

One good strategy is to push her up against a wall, so she can't back up to shoot you, but be careful, she can still stun you with the pistol and slip by. Then simply lay the smack down on her.

The other way is to disarm her, poison her while she can't defend herself, and run like a madman once she has her weapons back while you wait for the poison to take her down.

Either way, you still have to fight her like 3 more times, this is only the first.
Cyclone's hat will walk for him as he throws explosive red potions at you.

It's best to either take out the hat's arms which will stun him long enough to attack or jump and attack him.

After getting his health down to a certain point, Cyclone will drink a blue potion which heals his health completely and pull out his shovel to strike you. He will then use his hat's arms to lunge himself forward and break defenses.

The best way to take him out is to go against a wall and wait for him to lunge forward. He will ram into the wall which will then daze him long enough to strike.

Finally, Cyclone will combine the red and blue potions and will lunge at you at high speeds with an explosive strike.

At this point it's a good idea to wait until he tires out and then strike. After repeating with a few times, he will be defeated

Once you have control after the tedious fmv, run like ******** to the right or his first attack, a burst of submachinegun fire, will do you in right from the start.
Now, to the right, there are several nigh-indestructible crates behind which you can take cover and return fire. His coat is bulletproof so either wait for the wind to blow it back from him or try and bulls-eye his good eye. Not as easy to do as it sounds.
The entire fight is based around conserving ammo and taking cover, so try and stay mobile and keep an eye on where he is in relation to you. Ten feet or better away form him is best, as his rifle is very damaging up close but at a distance... not as accurate as it would be if he used two hands to fire it.
If you have flash bangs, use them then try and dash upstairs to piss a little bad news down on him, as he will not take the high ground himself. There's a trade-off, of course. He will, after enough time, call in a small air strike to get you down from there.

First up are the dogs, jump doge them and then stab out their eyes with a combo, you'll need to do this four times before she goes in with her fire sword. Make sure you are equipped with an ice sword to counter the instant kill when you block.

Time the block correctly than kick her into the pit of lava. Do this until she gives up and escapes.

This is a tricky one. It won't be easy.
His only weak spot is his heart, because everything else is charred bone.
And, of course, the heart is not easy to get to.
You can't do much at first until you start wearing him down a bit.
You can only avoid his attacks like the plague; I mean, how are you going to combat a chainsaw?
Keep fighting until he begins getting careless, when he starts coming at you with rapid chainsaw swings which promise certain death.
When he pauses after these outbursts, try to sweep his legs out from under him.
He's only bone, so it's quite simple. He'll trip to the ground and that will initiate gory cut scene of his chainsaw flying through the air and impaling him straight through his rib cage and into his heart...
This one may look intimidating, but after your first few trys at it you should win if well equipped. Puppet will attempt too use his various magic tricks on you, pay close attention when he raises a cloth. If you get caught under this cloth you'll be teleported too another demnsion and there is absolutly no way of getting back, not even shutting off your consol and turning it back on will work. The upside too him using this attack is that after his attempt, he is very weak. During this short period, you must attack him, preferably in the head, and knock him out. A quick note, that this bosses' carves are very very valuable, if your lucky enough you may even get his magical cloth!

Lawl this thread reminds me of Monster Hunter 3 XD

^^ This is going to be really tough. Mostly because of the bunnies. The grey one casts healing spells, while the white one does status ailments. So make sure you have items equipped that nullify status spells. Now the actual fight. First thing's first: his deck of cards. Each suit is a different element.
Hearts: fire
Spades: earth
Clubs: water
Diamonds: air

And each does damage equal to the number on the card, the face cards being the most powerful. Once with survive the 52 cards he resorts to the wand which casts elementless spells and sometimes extends to to some physical damage. So dodge and counter when deemed appropriate. If you knock out the rabbits early on, the fight will be less tedious since Puppet won't be able to be healed and you won't be burdened by status problems. Once his health gets to half and lower. He starts teleporting around the arena casting spells. His hat is first to appear, so switch to a ranged weapon and shoot the hat to stun him and attack before he becomes un-stunned. As he's on his last legs, Puppet will take off his hat and a dark hole will form inside, sucking you into oblivion. You have one last shot: If you don't fling your weapon as soon as the black hole starts forming, the hole will be complete and you will lose. If you do it just in time. Your weapon will rip through the hat and peirce the magician through the heart; ending the boss fight!

((yes, I went too hard; shut up! >.< ))

^You're going to need the following for this fight: Light based weapons, a composite crossbow, and a sturdy sheild (mythril being the preffered). Take out the bats first since they will either attack you or heal the hunter, then start worrying about him. Since he is a demon; holy weapons are prefered since they'll so additional damage to the undead or demon kind, just make sure to dodge or use your shield if he uses his gun. So if you evade and attack at the approriate times, this fight will be as good as done.

Run like hell!
She's indestructible and uber powerful so don't bother fighting her. Just run like hell and trick her into flying into things, which will disorient her and buy you more time for RUNNING LIKE HELL!
Eventually, you make it to your backup who unleash a hellascious barrage of firepower to take her down... for now.

If you have no idea what you're up against, you will have more than a tough time fighting Syn.

During the first half, Asura will do some acrobatic stunts while lashing at you with her whip. Instead of trying to dodge her attacks, at the very beginning of the fight, pick up a chair or something of the like. Use the chair to try to tangle her whip to disarm her, or simply us it to get in close enough to where you can hit her. I'd recommend using a poisoned weapon along with the chair.

Eventually, you will get her to dispose of her whip, this is where the 2nd phase of the fight begins.

She will acrobat her way to the ceiling of the room and bust the lights out with her heels, making it incredibly hard to see. Keep the chair with you, you'll need it. If you have it, pause the game and equip night shades, they will brighten the room up to where you can make things out. Also, Deku Nuts help. Now Syn will do her acrobat routine, but this time instead of using a whip, she uses claws. Use chair to block her attacks, stun her with the Deku Nuts, and attack with your normal weapon. Rinse. Repeat.
Near the end of the fight, Syn will start to use bombs, but if you have the Night Shades, they're easy to avoid.

Like I said earlier, if you don't know what to expect, ignorance will make this fight a lot harder.
swooshed

Avoid his fire bombs until he stops for a break, go in for the attack, rinse repeat.

I fix it! XD

fight for your life, do that as hard as you can. He scales to level so if you bring a massive party, your in for a doozy.... If your going solo, this is going to be one of the hardest fights ever, and please refer to other guides for detailed info on this boss. Prepare with every invintory extend upgrade avaible in game so you can carry every phenox down, reviver seed, max potion, and whatever else you find nessary for restoratives.

First (time out!): remember the old kingdom hearts thing? With the clock? Yep, a rematch. Every time the clock spins around and hits 12, he casts a high level spell like ultima, elemental flare, omega crush, and the like. Use stop or if your not a mage, stop watch items, and keep the clock from moving as often as possible. If you recruted a time mage, use rewind, extend, stop, and slow on the clock to keep it from hitting 12 for max effect.

The hat (close combat): it hits, hard, often and fast, only fighter like charaters with high defence and HP, and rouge like charaters with great dex. and agility to dodge should even get near. Make sure you either have no weakness at all or are resistant to all elements, otherwise the darn A.I will use scan and find out what your weak to and use an elwmental knuckle attack to do massive damage. [resistance to poision, payralize, break, and stun are sujected for a win, all else will fail.... In close combat.

The monster of a man (magic ahoy): here we need mages of all types, or a single mage with massive amont of power [if your going solo]. time, red, blue, white, and green magic are great assists for this match. Support and do nothing but support if your green, he has banish and clense so your buffs are gonna get wiped early and often. Red, just hammer on him with offence magic, nothing more or less. Blue mages concentrate on debuffing and hitting him with status effects, the others will need all the help they can get with hitting him. Now, to cover for your fighters up front, use redirect spells, or reflect on them if your nutts enough to have crap rebounding everywhere, to keep his high level magic from one shoting the front. He has resist 20% to all so just use either multi attack, or non-elemental attack magic if your going that route.

last {the liquor of the devil}: now for the important part, as soon as the scarf/hat calms down ande he pulls out a potion after the talk of 'being the best fun I've had in some time' ,shoot, hit, do what ever to stop him from drinking a full heal potion.... if he drinks that, your hosed..... No ammount of items can get a single team ready for a round 2 with this guy...
Well, while you can defeat Resone with any kind of character you've developed over the last 30 hours of gameplay, it is easiest to do so with a strong melee fighter with excellent defenses against spells.

Her strong magic at range can be deflected by powerful mages or avoided altogether by fast, sneaky players. In close, though her swordfighting isn't as powerful as her spells, she can fly away and heal herself on a whim, which is why it is a good idea to be able to do massive damage very quickly.

You're in for a long fight, though, so stock up on potions and don't be afraid to do a little grinding beforehand.
