"Greetings."

My lips curved into a wry smile and I narrowed my eyes at the armored man across the arena from me. He was clad very much like I remembered the roman centurions of old dressed, which I wondered at. At first I assumed he was human but very soon I began to feel that this was not so. There was something not quite mortal about him, though I highly doubted that he was one of the gods. He simply did not have that sort of presence. However, the gentle manner in which he had dealt with his previous opponent, was uncharacteristic of a demon. A curiosity to be sure, but that is what I like about the battledome- always something new.

"Prepare to die," I said simply and gathered energy into my palms.

He was still a little stunned from his last match, but he quickly snapped to attention when I began began charging swiftly towards him. He raised his sword to defend himself, but I knew how to manage that. I caught the sword in my grasp and at my touch the metal began to writhe wildly then with an earsplitting screech splintered into a thousand pieces. He stepped back, startled either by my power and the breaking of his blade or simply my ferocity.

I smiled triumphantly and gathering my power, I slammed my hand onto his forehead. I planned to rip his body apart from the inside, but something happened that I did not expect. There was something else inside him, some dark aura and it reacted strangely with the chaos I had forced into him. It exploded back onto me like a black wave and forced me back several feet. I stood gasping and shocked, trying desperately to hold this trembling mortal shell together. My opponent stood amazed and confused at what had happened.

Determined not to lose, I began to summon more power even though it threatened to tear my body apart. He ran foreward quickly and I was unable to react in time. He brought his fist down hard on the head of my weakened body and I collapsed. I cursed myself for the foolish mistake I had made. I could have won, I should have won.

It was not dead, but I fled the weakened form anyway. It would be better just to start from scratch. Assuming I can do better next time. I wonder how I could have been so careless.

@np: "Hmmm....I think there is something wrong with me today."

[...ooer, reversed digits :3
...and also, sorry for beating her up like this >_<; got a leetle carried away.]

"Maybe a fight will help you figure it out?"
The voice was cold, malevolent, and Scribbler winced to hear it coming from her own throat. Whatever Vaswedes had done wasn't pleasant...and it likely held unforeseen side effects.

Scribbler allowed her wings to stretch again, flapping in the breeze to take flight. Eris joined her in the air, growing in stature as the little vampire drew her brush-weapon. Soon, bolts of chaotic energy and ink peppered the sky, falling like rain to the spectators below. It was funny, really, how both tried to hit the other and yet failed miserably.

Impatient with the stalemate, Scribbler moved to draw one of her innocent summons...but the dust bunny that crawled out proved corrupted and twisted, seething with its own darkness even as it reached out to strangle Eris. The lady Chaos would bat it away, though not without sustaining burns from the dark mass, and with an angry roar retaliated by a lash of chaotic energy. Feathers rained; the whip had struck true, and something snapped in the vampire at the scent of burning and blood. Before either of them knew it, Scribbler had dived fiercely, bringing down her claws in a raking motion across Eris' torso. The lady Chaos stumbled in shock as the blow cleft cloth and skin, bringing forth a crimson ooze that told of the shell's weakness...and thus encouraged, the vampire struck again and again in a fit of bloodlust. She barely saw the person she attacked, barely felt Eris's weakening retaliatory punches, barely heard the screams and the audience's gasps of horror.

Accursed black magic and its poison; Scribbler couldn't control herself, her veins were on fire. She was disgusted by the way her body had responded, yet exhilirated by the sheer power that it had brought at the same time.

When the frenzy receded, both were quite bloody...but only one was conscious.
So it came to be that Scribbler stood over Eris's broken mortal shell, victorious but quite confused.
"...That's two beatings you owe me, Lady Eris."

She licked the blood off her claws and waiting for her next opponent.

"A fight, eh? Well, if you insist." twisted

Insisting Scribbler a fight did not do me well. Just trying to stab her helped her get a good grip on my necklace. So she twisted it, choking me. My eyes slowly closed, and I woke up lying outside of the Dome, with a wreath of flowers around my neck. A note, tied onto a white rose, said,

"Your death was a harsh fate.
Your life has begun anew.
There is no need to thank me."

TNP: "Take a gamble and fight me."

BM Vivi rolled 1 100-sided dice: 52 Total: 52 (1-100)

"Why not." I said grinning. Remembering this opponent I flipped back as he ran towards me. Stopping I waited until her got close enough. Waiting for him to swing his blade I grabbed his shoulders as I flipped over him. Letting go as I headed towards the ground I wrapped my tail around his neck, pulling him down. Looking back as he fell I quickly withdrew it to avoid any slashing. Seeing him roll on his stomach he started push himself up. Throwing a card at his hand he lost his grip to pain and fell on his own blade, stabbing himself. "Not too smart, are you?"

v ((I hate it when that happens))

Edit: FUUUUU-
I typed up this super-long post, and my computer went back a page right as I was about to send it.
You get a super-short version now ;-;

"Battle number three, here I come", I said as I drew my pistol. As soon as the gates opened, I saw four cards fly at me from the other side of the arena. Figuring they couldn't do anything to harm me, I casually held up my arm in front of my head to deflect it, and instead got a face full of cards. Literally. The things sliced through my arm and embedded themselves into my face. For a jester, Vivi really doesn't jack around when it comes to fights.

"I remember you. Or maybe it was someone else who had your name."

Whoever he was, he took one look at her eyes and deemed it wise to try and put a bullet between them. Unfortunately for Logan, the projectile was dodged, making a neat puncture wound in Scribbler's wing in the process. She hissed and threw up a wall of pigment, preventing further bullets from penetrating...but doubled over in pain as the bullet wound triggered a relapse of the same frenzy.
She fought the body that wanted to tear and feed, raising her paintbrush shakily to summon a wave of ink.
Logan had gotten around the wall at this point and was adjusting his targetting. He squeezed the trigger, thinking her unable to dodge in her state, but was swept away by the black sticky fluids to hit the wall furthest to them.

Knocked cleanly out, with bullets and gun clattering to the floor, and spared a brutal clawing...it could have been worse.

The vampire struggled to her feet, hissing, and stepped determinedly away from the limp body.

"Agh...don't get any closer!"

Nazynri had a huge arsenal of destructive and dangerous weapons at her disposal, but that did not stop me. She started flying and tried to swoop down and stab me with her dagger, but I was too fast for that. Although it used up most of my mana, I used levitation and grabbed and snapped her wings. Now I could easily win since she was hurt and unable to fly.

She ran at me with all her strength and I scooted aside and let her run into the wall.

Seeing my next opponent I looked him up and down. The bird? I thought looking at it. Looking at it I hadn't noticed my deck had caught ablaze. Quickly throwing my deck on the ground I put out the fire on my pocket before I stepped on them to put out the flames. Unfortunately for me They all brunt. Looking back at my opponent i glared at him. "You're going to-" Cutting my words off I was struck with an electric spell, fur and hair standing on end. Before i could move I saw the crystal ball smash into my face.

AMIANTE rolled 1 100-sided dice: 33 Total: 33 (1-100)

Am poked his head through the doors to scope out his next opponent. Oh. Someone was already there. His eyes widened and heart raced. He slipped back behind those doors. "[********]" With that, he scuttled off.

Truth be told, Am was terrified of clowns.

@ TNP: "And I just slowly fade away~"

Vaswedes rolled 1 100-sided dice: 34 Total: 34 (1-100)

"Hello, sir, and it's an honor to be battling you." Vaswedes mused. This human specimen was of course a man with an "attitude." The vampire had decided to fix that. Vaswedes strolled in to see Am, waiting and uncaring. They both stared, Vaswedes grin growing wider as he got closer. Am got in a battle ready stance.

In a second dodged his first punch, then the second, and the third. "Ah you have quite a eeeeh spirit in you." Vaswedes continued to dodge his punched, and then the vampire jumped away.
Am grumbled, and went in as fast as he could. Vaswedes decided to end the fight, charging at unnatural speeds, and punching him in the gut. Am crumpled to a heap, as the punches the vampire delivers are imbued with black magic, though it just looks like an ordinary punch.
The vampire knelt down to feed. "That's what I meant by Black Hand, Human."Vaswedes snapped tot he unconscious body.

(FOR GOD'S SAKE! This is just annoying as hell. Can I at least get a decent number for once, Dice Gods?)

Drathi's unfavor with the Dice Gods had once again proved that it existed as he tried to gauge this newcomer's strength by preparing a spell. Unfortunately, he was caught midspell and slammed into a wall.

(Really, this is just sad. T__T )

Drathi: Ugh... Curse you Dice Gods!! If only you would listen to me!

Alice: You alright, Drathi?

Drathi: Yeah, just angry at the Dice Gods. <mumble grumble>

Alice: Oh, ok.

<hack slash swing crickle>

Alice: Now you'll be even more outraged.

TheChaoticGoddess rolled 1 100-sided dice: 77 Total: 77 (1-100)

"Greetings, mortal."

A purple haired girl was my opponent now. The black cap that adorned her head as well as the power I detected emanating from her informed me that she was a practitioner of magic. Tricky business this would be. My chaos was excellent at disrupting spells, but sometimes the results were... unpredictable. I would wait to see how she would attack and plan a counter based on that. I had already been surprised by opposing dark powers earlier today, I did not intend for that to happen again.

To my surprise, she did not attempt a hex of any kind, and instead ran at me with an axe of some kind. This caught me off guard and I nearly payed for it by having my head removed quite neatly from my shoulders. Before the fatal blow was struck, I dissolved my body into a wispy smoke and slithered around quickly to the side. She was quick, and swung at me even then though the blade passed through my unsubstantial existence quite harmlessly, only sending curls of smoke sideways. She pulled back and waited for me to reform, which I did quite swiftly, and prepared to strike again. This time, I was faster and I sent an orb of chaos energy at her and she went flying backward on impact. She lay still and it was then that I noticed my dress had a gash through it and my torso was quite red with blood. That was entirely too close.

@np: "Prepare yourself!"

"Oh, really? Show me then!"

"C'mon, skill beat's those gods' biased methods every day!" (=_= Better...)

"Frost Driver!" the Ice Mage yelled, sending stalagmites of Ice toward the Goddess's direction. Their battles were obviously one-sided, but Drathi felt that he had to try. Ice collided with chaos magic, but it seemed that even with Drathi's skill, Chaos's advantage over elemental magic had overcome him. The Goddess had corrupted his Ice shards and sent them back at the boy. Although he could not be frozen by them, he still got pierced by his own shards. His blood dripped onto the ground as he was then swallowed by a black hole of chaos. How will the Ice mage fair inside? NNobody knew, but inside he was screaming like mad. When he was spit back out, he was petrified--his mind blank. He began to make his way to the exit of the dome.

Arriving in the arena I looked at my opponent. Still slightly shocked from my last fight I went to pull a card from my pocket, nothing. Not exactly my choice but it'll do. Reaching into my other pocket I took out a ball. Throwing it at him I watched as a pillar of ice sprouted out, freezing it mid air. Running towards him I flipped out of the way of more pillars of ice. Seeing shards of ice coming towards me I went to flip out of the way but got stabbed on the arms. Quickly taking some out I threw them much like cards and hit him. Running towards him again I swung a fake punch at him. Seeing the ice shield I wrapped my tail around his leg as I used the shield to flip over him. Seeing him land on his back I grabbed the shield, lifting it up as I stomped on his face.

@TNP "Have any cards?"
