(...This has to be made a fight worth for two mages... and such a close call.)
"Heya, Emma!" called Drathi as he entered the Battle Dome, spinning his staff in his usual playful manner. "It's been awhile since we fought hasn't it?" Before emma had a chance to answer the young boy summoned up an icy gust of wind, covering some parts of the ground with ice and forming a large mist, which the boy seemed todisappear into, only to reappear behind Emma, about to cast a Cold Bolt at point blank range. The enchantress turned and lifted her hand, countering the ice attack with darkness, but the brute force of a close-up attack and Emma's equally powerful attack cancelled, causing a magical burst that flung the two of them into the wall. The mist began to clear as Drathi stumbled out from the wall and he could see that Emma was not in the wall.
"You're supposed to challenge me in chess," Emma said quietly behind him. The boy swung his staff, only to have it collide with a chain that bound his arms and staff in its grip. "Howver, I suppose I could give you a little lesson." Drathi recognized that the chain was enchanted and could be manipulated by her. The chain tightened around his arm and cut off the magic flowing in them, while they were wrapped around him. He was lifted up and thrown around like a ragdoll, before finally being thrown to the ground in a harsh manner. Drathi was covered in wounds and it appeared that Emma was not wounded at all. Drathi had to admit she was far superior than he was, but he had once last trick up his sleeve. As Emma approached Drathi to finish him off, the boy released his staff from his hand and made a circle in the ground his with his finger. By the time Emma had realized what he was planning, it was already too late. Ice surrounded hr and formed a thick cage that eventually froze her inside. Unlike most victims of Drathi's freezing attacks, this one was jagged and sloppy.
"hat was close," he gasped. "I actually had to lose control for a bit."
