Why happened to Gaia

I haven been on in a few years and realized inflation took a wrong turn! I thought I was lucky receiving 12345 gold out of the claw machine/dispenser but then I took a look at the marketplace 1mill for a item that use to be worth only 3,000g can anyone please explain the new changes?

Gaia sold gold rigs for GC to make money and did not up the gold output of Gaia games making things hard to get. I have set up a shop to try and help people who need things, but can not afford the inflated prices. The items I have listed are just basic items, but even those are inflated in the MP so I figured it was better than nothing.
