Why are people on Gaia this Nice?

I just recently joined and i meet a couple of people and showed them my dream avatar. (the one i have on now) and within a couple of days they donated me these items. I was shocked that people are this nice biggrin

so far i am enjoying the site and hope to make more friends ^ ____ ^
