I looked up Battenberg cake and that is fancy and nummy looking. Lately I've been actually starting to drink tea and now want to do an actual tea party. Guilty pleasure since I'm such a tomboy but I just want to have the fancy treats.

Welcome to the site! The guide in this particular subforum is mostly relevant today, still. The marketplace will be a nightmare for pretty things however, and your best bet for expensive pretty things might be GoFusion(use of charms), the exchange(use of gold), or Alchemy(use of many game items).

If you have a trade skill (Profile building, art skill, animations..) you won't have a problem getting all the shiny things that were advertised. If you don't, we have a donations subforum. Most holiday events will give out clothing or the like, unfortunately, paws end up getting a number of freebies; not holiday specific attire. The site will sell it, but it'll cost real money.
