Seven years?

Greetings and salutations, Gaians!

My last post was (apparently) made all the way back in 2007.. I honestly cannot believe I've been gone for seven full years.

Back in the day, this is where all of my time was spent- And, let me catch you right there, I mean ALL of my time. I made some amazing friends through this website, most of which I've sadly fallen out of touch with, and I'm not entirely sure why I left.

I used to keep up with all of the storylines, roleplay in the forums, and even ran my own little fan-group on the side!

I'm not entirely sure what compelled me to log back in, but it's apparent that things have changed! Everything looks so.. Crisp! All of these new features feel overwhelming, but in a good way, like it's new territory to explore!

So, here's a little something for you folks!

Have you ever left and returned to Gaia? How long?

What do you think are some good ways to ease back into the community?

I come back approximately every six months but I'd say collectively I've been inactive for just about as long as you.
If I'm bored though I just go into towns and laugh.

same with me. i left gaia so many times and came back on so many times o:
well i remade a new account today, so im starting out fresh i guess xD

but i know what you mean! so many new items, its overwhelming @_@;
and the inflation ... omfg. ahaha
as well as the friends thing. sadly most of them dont even get online anymore.

its embarrassing being my 14 year old self roleplaying tho ugh...
its just embarrassing looking through old posts in general.

&i think just talking a lot, being friendly, making new friends would be a good start!
i hope we can be friends!

What do you think are some good ways to ease back into the community?

A good way to come back [if you're looking for friends and conversation], I think, is to help people with their achievements! People who are going for Elocutionist and the like are looking for people to keep a conversation with and b**ch about the inflation and lack of zOMG <3

i find myself in the same boat. Last time i was on Gaia was when i was back in high school in 2007. my Ex got me back into it just before we went our separate ways. Welcome back.
