You get gold mostly by clicking on things, though you can sell valuable items you might get. Other than that, selling art is the only way to get lots of gold without being patient.

Hmm... RPing regularly gets you plenty of gold from posting.

Hi and welcome to gaia. Yes there are other ways like selling your clothes, PMing people, and just for staying on the site. By the way make sure you go to Custimize Profile and change your settings to allow private messages. If you have any other questions or just want to chat PM me.
