You can get free fish for your fish tank by doing the aquarium quest. Click the little Q on the aquarium toolbar.

Hi! It is rather overwhelming, isn't it? It certainly was for me and I had a friend who had been on Gaia for years to help me. Check out the forums first. All of them. You'll get an idea how things work. What's going on. To make gold (which you use to buy so many, many things) the Aquarium forum is your ticket. People post their aquariums there and when a tank goes BOOTY GRAB, click on it and you'll get to grab the gold. It's fun. Sometimes, it's a little slow but if you want gold, that's the ticket. Give yourself a little time. I still am finding out new things and I have been on for 7 months. There are so many things to do and find out. Just remember - have fun.
