I have a question but, I'm not sure if anyone from this section can answer it but, I'll ask just in case-for graphics, etc are we allowed to use stock images/free images that give us permission to use in our OWN graphics? Like a render photo of a celebrities or cliparts?

welcome to gaia and to earn gold u can post in the forums,play booty grab in the Aquarium forum,play games,if u get charms u can sell them on the marketplace and check out the dumpster dive in the game section u can sometimes can items u can sell or use and to talk to someone quote them smile

Go to your account settings (under the "My Gaia" drop down menu) and change your image display (Under "Images" wink to "Show All Images". smile

Tip for gold: Sell your charms! I'm relatively new myself, and just yesterday I decided to check and see how much all of the charms I had been getting through the Daily Chance thing and it turns out that I had almost a billion gold's worth of them... ^_^

There's no reward for them except nifty titles you can put under your avatar!

Helpful Threads

✓ [Inexpensive Items] - Keep an eye on this thread for low-priced items.
The marketplace is constantly fluctuating, so you never know when you might get a good deal.

✓ [ Cheap Outfits ] - A collection of cheap avatar ideas that look nice
and are usually under 50k or so. I believe the thread is now closed,
but the outfits should still be there for reference.

✓ [ Free Items ] - This thread will supply you with some free item grants.
Keep an eye out as more may pop up at any time.

✓ [ Charities ] - Self-explanatory.
People can be very generous to those in need.

Misc & Gold-Making Tips

[ Aquariums ] will sometimes glow and you
will be able to play a game called Booty Grab where you collect falling gold.
You can make a good 100k+ a day if you really work at it.

[ Dumpster Dive ] is an activity you can do to gain free items.
Sometimes you will get trash, other times you can get items. You never really know!

Many of Gaia's [ Games ] earn you gold or tickets
or they can just be a way to kill time!

You can catch bugs or collect trash in [ Towns ] and sell them on the marketplace
for decent amounts of gold. You can also do the same by catching fish in [ Fishing ]

I'm trying to think of tips, lol. Well for gold, I think Gaia's pretty much a pay-to-win site, unless you get lucky in charities and stuff. So if you get Gaia cash that'll help you a lot. Dumpster dive basically just gets you crap, but occasionally there might be a decent item. I feel like everyone else covered most stuff, but if you need any help you can ask me. mrgreen
