Hi. I have been on gaia for about 5 days. I think. Actually I forgot.
I like gaia. It's fun. I like zOMG. And Fishing.
What I don't like is the market. It's so expensive!
Anyone have an explanation for this?

Also I'm thinking about buying gaia cash. Yay, or Nay?

market is because of inflation due to gaia gold generators. which were an item in the cash shop that granted LARGE amounts of gold to anyone who opened them. This made people sell their items higher because they could.
Gaia cash is your choice. All the items you can also purchase in the market place from other gaians selling them.

You can get up to 24 free gaia cash a day as well.

its a lot of gold u can but from the cash shops with gaia cash and the gaia staff tend to always promote some much stuff that u can only but with gaia cash

welcome to gaia, and the marketplace is so expensive be cause of alot of things, there is a post that describes all the reasons why but i cant remember where i found it.
