I write mostly fantasy genre stuff, a little sci-fi. ^~^ It's not advertised like the superbowl or futbol are. It mostly spreads by word of mouth. ^~^ NaNoWriMo

My fave anime genre is comedy or psychological/tragic/serious (mostly comedy lol), like my faves:
Madoka Magica, Attack on Titan, Hellgirl, and maybe more I can't remember lolololol~
As for manga, I like action-adventure, psychological, hilarious gender-benders, and seinen genres like my faves:
The Breaker, Magico (nnoooo, this was the best ever best all best ending best best be-...),
Egnima, (i get the name wrong sometimes), Samurai High School, Life is money (so sad), Deadman Wonderland (sad too), Tripeace, After School Nightmare, and Liar Game.
And I love k-pop, but not crazily lol. xD
Some of my fave groups:
Tiny-G (miss you. best best), Girls Generation (run devil run. best best), TTS (Twinkle. Like the best), Miss-A (bad girl, good girl. like best best), and I can't remember this one, but this group has a song I REALLY LIKE. It's about a psycho woman who's fed up and gone crazy, or something. I know they have a song called "Step" ( lalalalalalallalalal~ xD)
