Well just posting in the forums and surfing can get you gold, though not a huge amount.
Then there's the daily chance.
Oh, and you can try your hand at the market place. See if you can work your way up.

There's so much to gaia, that's hard to answer.
But salon durem (you'll find it in the shops) will let you change your hair. Or you can buy a wig.
If there's anything else, people don't mind helping.

You can change your hairstyle at the Salon Durem-- it's located under the "shops" tab. I think they have a few inexpensive hairstyles available. 3nodding If you haven't gone through the tutorial yet, that's a good way to learn the basic navigation of the site. The FAQ is here. And don't hesitate to ask people if you have questions! We're all pretty friendly around here.
