Yeah the prices are sorta overwhelming at first, but once you find your groove it's a little easier to deal with. ^^
You might be able to buy GCash items and sell them for gold. Might be worth looking around a bit first to see what items tend to sell well, though.
If you can't buy GC yourself, there are some ways to earn it by watching commercials and stuff.
