Also any good places/websites to spiff up my profile?? I don't know much about css or html so I'm more of a find a good layout and use the code kind of girl. lol

Welcome to Gaia, it's been too long since I used codes provided from a separate website
heck I haven't even updated my profile in a year. You won't have many choice if you were to use
a already provided code.
The only two sites I know of are Tektek and gaiaholic.

You get your clothes in the shop directories, or the marketplace, you meet people here in the forums, or in Virtual Hollwood, there are plenty of games to play, and make money. Money can be put on your account if you want it without doing anything to earn it, or you can play the lottery. But most of us play Booty Grab, which is located in the GAIA AQUARIUMS forum, just click the "Glowing" Posts, and you'll catch on haha... sounds funny, but you'll love it. You can also play games for money, and money gets you everything in gaia.

everyone uses tektek.org
for most of their gaia things.
there are profiles, dream avis and other things.

i just mess around with my personal layouts to make my profile eye catching.
