Hi there! Welcome to Gaia! I hope you have a great time here!

Just a little tip, though - If you choose to buy the gold generators in the Cash Shop, you will likely not even get enough to buy some shoes on the marketplace. If you choose to get items from the NPC run stores, you'll be fine, but most items are not sold on the NPC run stores, so... yeah...

If you see those little slot machine-like objects in the upper right hand corner of the My Gaia, GCash, Shops, Go Fusion, etc. tabs when you click on each one, You'll get either gold, a charm, some bugs, or the occasional bit of clothing.

Charms are used to create objects in GoFusion, and the Heart Charms are pretty easy to get, as are, occasionally, the star charms. GoFusion is accessible on the main bar, right under your character. It is used to make certain objects, which you will need certain amounts of certain charms for.

Bugs are used to make dyes, if that hasn't changed recently. You need quite a few bugs, though, to make the dyes, but once you make/find the dyes, you can make tattoos with them, which occasionally sell for quite a bit.

Dumpster Dive is a good thing to do every once in a while, at least in my opinion. It will give you items donated by other users. These items can be anything, really, but it seems like they are more often some form of Philosopher's Cache. I'm not really sure what that item is used for, though.

If this seems too much to handle, I'm really sorry D: I just wanted to cover a bunch of topics. I may copy and paste this to other users as well, just to try to be helpful...
