I haven't been on Gaia in over 4 years, and I am shocked at the price of things. I remember getting my first million and how long it took me to get there. I see items now that were 500k gold are now worth BILLIONS. What happened?

As for what happened: cash shop gold generators happened last summer. They grant people millions and even billions of gold very easily. Just having millions is like pocket change now. sweatdrop

So I've noticed, that sucks. To maintain a stable virtual economy must be tough and with cheaters abroad I'm sure things changed very quickly around here. To make up for such a price spike you would think they would allow more valuable "free gold" (instead of 6 gold for surfing it would be more around 30 for example).
