You should have gotten a few free gender bender potions. Check the special tab of your inventory.

To get your free Gender Bender potions, you'll have to -as a human- go to your account settings and claim them (there's a bit about gender 'round your username and password when you're human - can't see it as an animal). Then go to your inventory, special or all tab and use one of the potions.

You may have to resave your avatar and possibly clear cache and whatnot to see the change (some browsers are more finicky than others sometimes).

Once it switches over to the other gender, you can head over to Skin Tyte and Salon Durem to get your skin, hair and eyes set how you want them (to change your skin tone you have to drink a potion again; hair and eyes from the salon change your base hair/eyes, they aren't items for you to equip/remove at will -you can change them at any time by going to the salon again, you just have to remember that you'll lose your existing one in place of the new one- )
