Just a friendly reminder that no one on this site (or outside) should ever ask you for your password. Gaia Staff (Administrators, Moderators, etc) will NEVER ask you for your password for any kind of procedure. We do NOT need it to access your account information, etc. Do not be fooled by false Staff or by Scammers that claim entering your information on a site outside Gaia will give you gold (for more information on how to spot Staff Impersonation click here ). Do NOT enter your Gaia username/password on any site that is not Gaia Online. (http://www.gaiaonline.com) Scammers will use that information to hack your account and either steal your items or use it to Scam more users. On the same token, we ask that you do not share passwords with anyone (friends, etc) as Gaia is not responsible for what can happen to your account/items. If you have been victim to a Hacker/Scammer, please fillout a proper report form: [Report A Hacking] For unauthorized entry to your account. Items/gold stolen. [Report A Scamming] If you were tricked into giving out information/items. Remember that Moderators have green names, and their titles can be seen below their names. For a list of Moderators & Assistants for the Welcome to Gaia Forum, go here. Other members of the Gaia staff have colored names as well (orange, red, brown), but they won't be able to help you with account and forum issues, so please only contact Moderators. Users with blue names are users on your friendlist, NOT part of staff. Finally please note that we do not have [MOD] or [ADMIN] as part of our names.  |
