As for gold, the easiest way's probably Booty Grab. Here's a handy guide.
And alchemy is completely not worth it. You have to spend millions of gold to craft items which are on the marketplace for a few hundred thousand, it's all a bit backwards.

The high level items can be profitable or can be merely hard to sell. The low level items are are generally pretty useless. xDD;;
But yeah, you'll probably be fine if you have the money to burn. C;

Blah, some people are just rude. You wait until you make millions from alchemy (or whatever) - then they'll be PMing you begging for gold instead.
