I cannot find any hearts, to build my Magic Castle, on any of my friends islands!

I've spent about 3 hours on this game and have yet to come across any in my 20+ friends resorts.

I know they are found at the shoreline, but are they very rare?

Any heartseekers out there that can help me?

P.S I'd love more friends for this :3
