So, to all you aspiring cosplayers out there: Do it right, or don't do it at all. We don't need any more Thunder Thighs Yunas running around.

Protip: Looking somewhat like the character you want to portray to begin with is a major help. Like this guy:

The contrast between the third and fourth cosplays are amazing

So, basically only the pretty people can cosplay?

I don't have a problem with people cosplaying, if it makes them happy. Though, if you're going to do it, do it appropriatly.

I doubt I'd ever do it. D:

There are plenty of ugly characters for ugly people to dress up as.

I agree. lol
I always admire the fat girls who know well enough to dress up as fat characters.
I don't have pics, but at Sakuracon this year, a girl dressed up a Chouji from Naruto.

And say no to those awful, awful wigs. That one ...girl(?) in the bad costume section had an excellently made costume, but the wig was ******** awful. A little make up wouldn't have hurt... to cover up the ugly...

I still have no idea what costume I want. O.o
So I guess I'll be waiting until next year, because the convention I wanted to go to is in September. I'll still go, just not in costume.
