I just read the announcements and started doing the quest. The task was pretty simple: Dress up your avatar and save.

Except I can't do that. I haven't changed my avatar since the new mouths came out because if I save, I'll lose my current mouth. xd

Discuss:
Have you ever not changed your avatar because you're afraid of losing something? (i.e. the invisibobs, sootface, etc?)
Is there a little task that's easy to everyone but is impossible for you to do?

I have the exact same problem. Alot of my friends telling me to just give in and lose the mouth aren't helping at all...

I would have avoided saving my avatar to keep my previous facial expression if I had only realized the implications earlier. I've got this dern mustache partially to hide my shame of deleting a fantastically creepy grin. Still, on the whole, I don't save me avatar. I'm happy with the level of high-class hobo I have achieved, and what am I gonna add? The UFO? Oh yeah, that fits with my design. Plus I'm paranoid that I'll one day save my avatar only to realize that I've lost my grombie status.

I can't finish it either, but for a different reason... Gaia keeps telling me I've posted in the wrong forum when I do my Quest Post in the "Welcome to Gaia" place... and someone moves it. stressed

EDIT: And then Moria shows up and tells me I've completed a part of my quest! sweatdrop

I was doing the quest first on my mule but then I realized if I saved, my avatar would lose her light green eyes which don't exist on Gaia anymore >.<

Damn bastards. Fortunately for me, I was already screwed over by getting resaved with a mouth. XD Do it with a mule or something if you reeeally want to, but a few measily gold isnt' worth losing classic avatar looks.

since the new mouths cames outh i haven´t changed my main account, i love that mouth and don´t have a nose xd but i can handle the new events/features with my mules 3nodding

i will never change my main, ever.

I had that mouth for the longest time.

Then some Mod autosaved me.

I was so pissed off.

My avatar was perfect and everything.
But since they changed layering too when the new mouths came out, my avatars outfit was also screwed.

Be strong! The mouth you have now is too pretty to lose. Plus, from what it seems, you're only getting gold for completely this quest. smile
