Just wanted to know what level the people of gaia are at.

DCI rating doesn't matter. Last I checked I had around 1100 rating on there and I've only participated in around 4 sanctioned events... but recently in a T1 tournament I was ranked 5th in the tournament (even though the top decks were netdeck turn 1 kill decks).

i doubt that. i talk better than i play.

also, i know DCI ranking isn't the be-all and end all, because some people (i.e. me) have played in sanctioned tournaments without the goal of winning. my ranking's pretty abysmal, but that's what happens when you play in FNMs with bad comco decks for kicks.

and when you fail at limited. xp

DCI Ratings mean nothing and shouldnt mean your good or bad. I believe I am decent, but I only play Casual, sure I am part of DCI, but I was only at one sanctioned event ever and I Didnt do so hot at it. Stupid Draft..........

I have no DCI rating (no sanctioned store in this area), but I like to think I do pretty good. I play casual multiplayer mostly though. I used to play a lot of duels and had some kick a** decks (well, to me anyways). But if I'm having fun than it's all good!

redface I'm flattered.
And honestly, simply because of that comment is the only reason I'm posting; I don't think I'm that good.

And while everyone's complaining about DCI points...I have a whopping 0. No, really. Vintage tournaments down here aren't sanctioned...so I can't get any points for playing in my "best" environment.

I'm the type of person who goes 'whee, I'll make a deck with this*' and actually have it turn out fairly well. >_>
I'm not sure if that actually says anything about my gaming ability/deckbuilding skill.

* 'this', so far, has been monocolored unglued decks and a Dryad tribal deck. Next is homaridtribal!
