joi couldn't speak. maybe she was traumatized, the doctors couldn't figure out why. her whole life before she was found by dino is a mystery to everyone, even herself.

now she's almost an adult and trying to figure out her life. she wakes up almost every morning nude on the floor and drenched in blood. she doesn't know why, she just goes into her bathroom and washes herself off before class.

joi started getting visions 5 years after she started speaking. she'd see this man everynight. each time she saw him he'd speak to her and she'd learn more about him. she started looking forward to their talks until he grew violent in her teen years. he started mentioning the revolution and how joi had to help stop the world from harming itself. he'd convince her to go out and kill prostitutes, pimps and the homeless
all for the sake of the revolution.

jonas is believed to be real, though joi doesn't really know if he is.
he has mentioned he is in a rock band (drummer) and it's also known that he is german. he is very influential and mean spirited. he drives joi to do things she'd never do on her own. he is thought to be an "imaginary character" he is intrigued by kristen, who occassionally summons him and they have short memorable conversations

she appeared out of nowhere, or so it seemed. a young girl eating out of a dumpster wearring a burgundy school uniform. while wanderring around town, looking for a place to rest, she came across another girl about the same age as her named dinorah. from the first time they met they knew they'd be friends forever.

kristen has always been a strange girl. even as a child, she never got along with most of her peers. after only a semester in college, she has been added to everyone's blacklist - everyone's except dino's. her promiscuety concerns dino, but kristen insists she knows what she's doing. she's always suspected that joi has a demon inside of her, warning dino about it never worked. she'd sometimes see the figure of a man standing above joi, but she dismissed it at first and blamed it on her imagination or her medication.

hermes was always considered a normal kid growing up. it wasn't until he started wearring his mother's makeup and clothing to school that she began to worry. she blamed it on him not having a proper father figure, with his father in and out of their lives. hermes' life changed when he moved to chavon and met joi. he thought she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. when joi's sister, dino, began showing interest in him, he started insinuating that he was homosexual to throw her off, convincing joi of the same in the process.

magpie is a pudgy weird little alien found living one of the oldest trees in town. she was discovered by a tourist who mistook her for an abandoned young girl & immediately called the police. she became a celebrity soon after her discovery and surprisingly, people in such a small town took her in with little questions [though it's probably because after she was found tourism shot up 400%].

magpie stands about 3 feet tall, has large black almond-shaped eyes, smooth pale skin and markings across her entire body that resemble freckles. everything about her seems human except her lack of a nose. she has the intellect of an adult and the body of a child.

she usually wears her hair like that in pigtails, but it can be done up in any style. as for clothing - she wears a lot of hand-me-downs donated by the local church. usually dresses with strange patterns on them, stuff people usually donate to churches - things no one would ever wear. her fav shoes are a pair of aqua platform boots.

i work fulltime & freelance as a game designer/illustrator. i don't have a lot of free time. i like the occasional gaia commission bc i get to draw things i usually don't get hired to do.

the wait time for a piece can average 3 weeks to 3 months. there's no way of knowing how long i'll take, but if i do accept your offer it will eventually get done. i'm sorry, if i have more free time i may finish faster.
