20,000 Bump Solo Thread

Do NOT FORGET TO COUNT YOUR BUMPS, FROM 1 and up one bump per post, no skipping numbers, you earn gold when you hit check-marks look below for the prize list and bump list!

Welcome to the 20,000 Bump Solo Thread. This thread has been a place where people from every corner of the globe have experience joy and pain with each other, conversations and silence; jokes and debates, in the end each and every one of them will take away from this thread a life experience they will always remember. While the thread hasn't always been as active as we would like, its always been a place for lost souls to come to find their friends again.

So in memory of the years I spent building this thread into something worth speaking about I am coming back to bring friends together once more, in the same way I originally started this thread.

The Beginning

In 2004 the first conception of 20,000 Bump Thread was created as a way for me to bump 20,000 times in one thread; I wanted to do something big on Gaia and I figured it would be a cool way to get attention- I ended up getting more attention than I bargained for when over 50 people came to the thread on the first night, we all stayed up all night and talked, bumped and built relationships while we earned gold. The next morning I returned to the thread, intending to keep my promise to do 20,000 bumps. I was surprised to find a few of the friends I had made the night before still bumping there way toward 20,000 and as we talked that next day more people came to join us.

From the mid-day college students who joined our ranks throughout the years, to the European "night-owls" that kept the thread company throughout the night, this thread has been host to many friendships over the years and will continue as a venue for fresh gaians to make connections and old-flames to be rekindled.

The journey continues....

Post Four :: The Bump List
Rules

Please read each and every single rule below before beginning to post, otherwise you may find yourself in a bit of trouble when you do something wrong.

1. This is very important always remember to count each bump, one bump per post beginning at 1 and counting upward as far as you can count.

2. Always follow the Gaia ToS and keep things PG-13, you will be reported if you do not follow their rules.

3. Never disrespect another person in this thread, why? Because you open yourself up to disrespect by all members of this thread, and me personally kicking your a**.

4. Never cheat while bumping, I always find out I by hand check every single page so I will know, and then you will be black listed from this thread.

5. Never copy a post from the front page and post it here yourself, you can quote small parts of it but never copy the entire thing.

6. Do not harass another person of this thread, whether by email, myspace, private message, in other threads or in this thread. You will be reported.

7. Please everyone talk with each other and get to know each other, when I am here I will always talk and I expect you to do the same [hopefully not to yourself].
Books I've Read

This list began on December 20th (and obviously does not include books I have read previously). I made this list out of utter-boredom and because its my thread and I can "do what I want to". I like reading a lot and writing so when I am bumping I am usually writing/reading.

1. Being Jewish by Ari L. Goldman
2. The Omen by David Seltzer
3. A Perfect Evil by Alex Kava
4. Divine Evil by Nora Roberts
5. Write Away by Elizabeth George.
6. The Time Machine by H.G. Wells.
7. All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris.
8. Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie.
9. The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien.
10. Complete Collection of Edgar Allen Poe.
11. Animal Farm by George Orwell.
12. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.

More to come soon!
