Everyone knows that anime breasts are gigantic, but do you think that it is a good or a bad thing? Do big breasts demean the characters or women, or do they contribute to their overall good without diminishing character and respect?

Actually, the majority of characters I've seen don't have very large breasts at all.

Depends on what show you watch... Generally, no, I don't think the boobs are too big.

Depends on the anime. If it's hentai, then they should be able to make the breasts as large as they want.
But if it's something that's just there to distract from a perfectly fine plot, then I don't think it belongs.

You're kind of stereotyping anime females by saying "anime breasts are gigantic"... It's only in a select few anime series that feature nearly every woman with overly large breasts. Breasts vary in size from female to female in anime, just like in real life. Yes, someanime series feature women with breasts of a size you normally wouldn't see in real life, but I personally feel there's nothing wrong with that. In many cases, it gives them personality. In others, it sparks a sexual interest in both males (and some females) watching the series, as well as a male protagonist within the series. That's just the way it is. Who doesn't like to watch breasts jubble around, anyway? It's entertaining, and that's all animation really is, isn't it? Entertainment.

Of course anime boobs are too big compared to real boobs. XP ((the only person I know that has anime size is my cousin. o.o it scares me sometimes.))

That's not a bad thing though! Everything's bigger in anime, no? Eyes, boobs, guns... yep. Besides, I like them that way. ^^;;
