Hmm, it's happening again. Hijikata thinks to himself as the old feelings begin to surface again. Ones that he had needed to supress in order to lead the Shinsengumi. However, here, far away from them and the Ishin. He started to think that he could give in, and let the old ways course again through his vains. Letting down the mental blocks, he listend to the voices again. Those that he had ignored for so long. Yes, it has been too long. He says within his own mind, speaking as if to a long lost lover. It has been sometime, but now I'm back. He thinks as the feeling of shadows moving across his body is felt once more. Instead of resisting, he embraces their coming, and is soon lost in the shadows. Having consumed the one they came for, they slowely break apart, until no trace is left of them, or of Hijikata.

As he was about to say hello to Pocky, he nose suddenly catches an old scent. He raps his legs on the rafter and hangs upside down over Roo. "Is that blood I smell?" He asks quizically, and possibly in a hungry tone.

Roo looks at him. "well yes it is...but um..." She smiles softly. "want some fresh or just some drink with it in it?"
