Of course, it's been a couple of years, and I can't actually lay hands on the card this precise minute, and I'm fairly sure it was even more florid and purple than that. But something similar, certainly.
What did you deduce from the note?
That whoever it was was left-handed, knew me well enough to be familiar with my particular pechant for pet names, as well as my tastes in literature, probably didn't like vegetables, was extremely practical, but a romantic at heart, imaginative, and utterly terrified of me. Most of these were based on the handwriting, which might not have been his.
