Yes, it would be. Among those issues are some of these too

Some time ago, somebody wanted to take away the military bases we have in here in Connecticut as well as in Rhode Island and move it up to Massachusetts. To save money, you know. Not only would it have devastated our economy, but that would have left us without protection and we would have to wait for many hours for Massachusetts to go through "their process" and whatnot to send it. Our Governor at the time said "no".
There were issues with the submarines in the past 20 years (most of it under Bush) that ef-ed things up too, that costed this country more than we should have because one company had to fix everything the other company did because the other company was/is incompetent. Politics is what caused that.

lol they need to watch Obama's horses and bayonette's explanation from the 3rd debate. Cutting it dramatically would cut some public sector jobs though, I doubt it'll fully take effect before they either extend the deadline or just change it.
