Actually, I'm pretty sure Washington had already approved gay marriage. However, there was an initiative to repeal it and I guess that was voted down.

From what I've heard, the organizers are taking it slow and steady to make sure when it's put up for a vote, it sticks. smile

As someone from Washington, only 50% of the votes are counted and it has a somewhat strong lead. I'm not getting my hopes up till tomorrow.

I'm glad my state passed gay marriage and I'm glad to say I was part of the reason why it passed. I wasn't out in the streets fighting for it, but I did play my part by financially supporting LGBT groups that pushed to pass gay marriage and gay rights across this country.

I say ******** you to all the religious assholes who are against gay rights. Your religion is outdated, it's time to grow up and realize religion is a crock of s**t holding back humanity.
