If Obama is re-elected:

> I risk losing my health coverage.
> Filing bankruptcy as a result of losing my health coverage.
> Dying because I am unable to afford my expensive medications.
> Stuck with $20,000 in student debt because he cannot fix the economy and I find a decent job.
> Credit score shot even more to hell and no chance at home ownership.
> I can kiss ever having a family goodbye without a stable job to support them.
> My future children and grandchildren get suck paying off our massive debt because Obama will make it even bigger (if i can even have a family).
> We may very well enter Word War III with Iran.
> Inflation continues increasing food and gas prices to astronomical levels.
> The entire economy of the United States collapses and we become the second Greece.
> China will overtake us as the world's sole superpower.

I could go on and on. Obama being re-elected is detrimental to not only my future but the future of the United States.
^ Exactly. America is screwed once Obama gets re-elected. Especially since he won't give a s**t anymore since it is his last term.

Please don't tell me that I'm the only person on this site who pays attention global news and the economic reports coming out of Europe... Ireland is the living example of all the republicans' economic policies. Cuts to government services is no way to reduce a deficit, it's ridiculous.

This is, in fact, news to me.
So Ireland is trying the entire trickle down thing and it isn't paying off?

This surprises you? Double digit unemployment to boot. You have internet access! You need to use it for more than just porn and anime and gaia. I know it's hard, but if I can find a way to do it then you can too!

Well now, that's a pretty damn accurate type casting of my personality. It leaves stuff out, but mostly bravo.

And it isn't surprising, just interesting. I don't usually think to check up on the status of Ireland
What I don't understand is how I've never seen it mentioned. A four year recession going on now... And a bit of information to sift through.

Is it due to weak regulations?

Type casting, huh? Not unlike you're comment about Ireland being full of drunks, now we're even. I just make sure to read up on international news, easy thing to do on my lunch breaks. Most of Europe has been in similar financial crisis for years, people are protesting en masse across the continent over the governments' mismanagement of their debts and the banks' blatant dickishness. If the protests keep up in Spain I might have to spend my vacation stuck in the hotel room.

Oh, no, I don't find that to be insulting.
And I will say that it's my Ireland joke to refer to them as drunks. Just as I refer to Americans as idiots and Russians as half Vodka. No offense was meant if any was taken.

And... Well. Now I do feel in the dark. Looks like Ukraine's suffering the most, but that's just from a cursory glance.

When has Ukraine not been suffering? At least they don't have Alexander Lukashenko for "president."

Uh...So that whole thing about Iran and WW3, can you explain that to me? I'm pretty sure you have no explanation for it.

Obamacare for the the first one. In a June 2012 survey, 83% of physicians said they thought about quitting because of Obamacare with, 65% directly stating that the problem was too much government involvement. If all 83% of those physicians quit and really if only 65% quit then we would have such a medical crisis in this country you cannot even imagine it. I am dependent on my physicians to keep me healthy and make sure nothing major is wrong with me that could be fatal.

Physicians Attitudes Survey

And there are plenty of articles stating that employers are going to begin dropping coverage too. According to this online survey at least 30% of employers definitely plan to drop coverage by 2014.

How US health care reform will affect employee benefits

To better explain, I have huge amounts of medical debt I cannot pay off so losing my health coverage would mean insurance no longer picks up most of the tab and if I have to pay more out of pocket and one of my medications alone is $1,500 a pen and considering I'm a college student just living off extra student loan money then yeah it would bankrupt me.

As for education all the candidates have some plan they have laid out to try and make it affordable and for college students to have less debt when they leave. Since I am already in the middle of my education reforms will not really affect me but I want a strong economy and workforce to go out into once I finish so I can get a job and pay the loans back. Obama has failed to improve the economy and has had four years, two of which he had both houses of Congress to improve things.
So you're saying that physicians being jackasses is likely to put you in danger.....?
That's a reason to distrust physicians, not the president.

Physicians are not being jackasses though. They have to make a living just like the rest of us and clearly the healthcare law hurts their ability to practice medicine, or the vast majority would not consider leaving once the law takes effect. And even physicians are stating that more government involvement in healthcare is not the way to go. At this point I trust the president less than members of Congress. All his healthcare law was was a big pay off to pharmaceutical companies that wanted more of a government-run healthcare system (and are now regretting it) while hurting sick, lower-income individuals like me. He's a lying snake saying we can keep our health coverage we like and see the physicians we see. All he wants is for everyone to be in a crappy government-run system, where the focus is quantity instead of quality. This was not the healthcare law Americans wanted, and the polls still reflect that most wanted the law done away with. I want healthcare reform but I want market-centered reforms that actually lower my costs and improve the quality of my healthcare. Is that so hard to ask Mr. President??? I did NOT ask for higher premiums and co-pays!

Sorry you absolutely have no idea what you are talking about.

This is far from a government run health-care system. Please explain how the Law prevents people from practicing medicine?
Which Physicians? In fact I haven't noticed a decline in Doctors, in fact employment has been similar or near the same before Obamacare.

EXPLAIN AGAIN HOW IT IS RUINING LOWER INCOME INDIVIDUALS

IN FACT MANY OF THE LAWS LOWERING COSTS ISN'T EVEN COMING UNTIL 2014! IN FACT IN 2014 INSURANCE COMPANIES CAN'T CHARGE MORE WHEN YOU GET SICK.

If Obama doesn't get re-elected I might just have to go back to my home country (United Kingdom) because seriously I can not stand a Republican party taking over everything! Unfortunately I can't vote but I would vote for Obama if I could [not a citizen]

First of all, hose polls ONLY polled 699 physicians out of 36 thousand potential physicians that did not want to take that poll. Those polls don't mean much. Also it only had a 4.6% reply rate.

And to quote what your link said
Physicians Attitudes Survey
Quote:
ABOUT THE SURVEY

The survey was conducted by fax and online from April 18 to May 22, 2012. DPMAF obtained the office fax numbers of 36,000 doctors in active clinical practice, and 16, 227 faxes were successfully delivered. Doctors were asked to return their completed surveys by fax, or online at a web address included in the faxed copy. Browser rules prevented doctors from filing duplicate surveys, and respondents were asked to provide personal identification for verification. The response rate was 4.3% for a total of 699 completed surveys.

Also to the second poll, the main issue I have is with the questions they asked, in fact

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/21/business/21insure.html?_r=1&
Quote:
McKinsey also came under fire for not providing access to the survey’s authors, and for not publishing the questions, the types of employers taking part or the survey methodology.

In posting “details regarding the survey” on its Web site Monday, McKinsey acknowledged that its survey was “not comparable” to the studies by the budget office, Urban Institute or others using economic modeling.

In fact Mc Kinsey is not infallible and there polling methodology is questionable, and I'm sure not all there polls were accurate to what actually happened.

And if you still want to believe these polls actually reflect what these physicians think is quite desperate.
