Indeed im a bit sorry to say that when i voted when i saw other peoples names that werent Romney or Obama i kinda just laughed at myself and said it would just be a waste of a vote if i did it

It is so unfortunate that analysis is accurate. I think if there was a single third party candidate, moderate enough to rally those dissatisfied with either partisan candidate and therefore garner 5% of the electoral, we would see a distinct shift in US politics.
