The Texas petition reads as follows:

The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

I live in Texas and i'm pretty up-to-date with the economy here so all i have to say is gtfo this is s**t.
Texas owes a lot to the US after it saved us from Mexico's control. We would NEVER do such a thing as this.

This subject was on the news and they said the people who started this were people in white supremacist groups. People in these groups signed the petitions but also along with Romney supporters. I live in the state of New Jersey and trust me, we will not be seceded from the U.S. But for all those Romney loving Obama haters and all the people in the white supremacy groups:

New York, Florida, and New Jersey have their petitions revoked.
