You know, you brought up a good point there...
I've been bodybuilding for about 5 months now and I've only been doing the intense lifting and nutrition.
Haven't really looked up much into supplements.
Would you recommend any if you've tried any?

honestly i dont believe in taking 1 grap protein per bodyweight. i would have to take 175 grams of protein every day. then ppl would take creatine so they would take like 5-15 graps of creatine or something.

try eating enough calories, rest alot, dont drink and sleep late, dont train too much.

if u want protein powder i suggest optimum nutrition casein and whey protein. i think it was called gold standard. and i think gnc is pretty good. im just telling u these companies because its really popular where in my college. also remember patience is the golden answer. it takes at least 2 years to get u where u want. many ppl cant wait and take steroids and other crap but u just gotta be patient. look up marc fitt. hes been lifting 2 to 3 years. even ronnie coleman lifted 10 years. u just gotta wait haha. i know it sucks

I don't think anyone recommends 1 g protein per lb body-weight. It's 1 g protein per lb LBM.

Oh and protein powder isn't a supplement. It's food. It's composed of the same amino acids that are in anything else. The only difference is that it's in a powdered form.
