Soreness isnt always good, can lead to over training but if the workout feels to easy switch it up or make it harder

Soreness is not a good indication on getting a good workout. You shouldnt worry about it. Just lift and progress. If you progress ou are at least doing someyhing right.

You should always feel sore after a work out, if you don't you need to lift heavier or do a different exercise.
It sounds to me like your body is getting used to the exercises that you've been doing, which is why you aren't feeling that muscle soreness, your body got used to the workout. What you can do to help this is changing your exercises a bit. Change your rep range; do more sets; try using different machines/equipment, doing that should bring back that "burn" that you appreciate, letting you know that you had a good work out. Hope this helps.
You should feel proud that your finished your workout. And if you feel that it is getting easy, increase your weights and reps and or switch up your routine. (:

Have a planned routine with the amount of workouts for the body part(s) you are working on that day, as well as the amount of sets and reps. And again, if it is too easy, increase in weights or reps (:

no it doesnt. soreness doesnt mean anything. you will have a good workout if you mentally exhausted your body after the workout. lol its hard to explain. its all about your mentality. sometimes i feel tired and i cant lfit as much and i feel crappy because i think i didnt do a good workout but thats not the case. just work hard and dont give up.

Do research before try telling someone they're wrong
How you get a good work out, is by working every Part of your body. Legs, arms, and abs; legs you can do squats, or lungs. Arms, depends on what kind of weights that you use. And abs, just do oblic twist, crunches, sit ups, push ups. But remember to warm up by walking for ten minutes and cooling after words before you stretch.

I pretty much go by if you're not sweaty, out of breath and in need of a big glass of water then get back to work.
Generally if you feel something is getting to easy just switch it up, go longer and do more reps.
Sometimes I bike for 3 hours because I feel like one just was too leasurly for me because I've done it so many times, I love to push myself to the limit.

I always figure I had a good work out when:

1. I'll need to have a spot(Maximum of 2 times or else I figure the spotter is doing most of the work)
2. My muscles are pumped up
3. I find myself having to decrease in weight at the end of my workout versus being able to do the same weight as in the beginning
4. A slight soreness but nothing to inhibit me from everyday actions.

But then I've only done this for 9 months so I'm still learning. Hope this helps anyway smile
If you stop getting DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) then your body's already adjusted to your routine and you need to change things (new exercises/different reps/different order/higher weight).
Honestly, the best workout you can get is actually knowing to yourself you gave 110%. Usually this is paired with DOMS. Push your sets out, keep your form in line and you should be fine. I would recommend doing drop sets. smile
