Kori Kai Dawn ☻

Kori sighed, Walking into the entrance of the school and yawning loudly. He swung his bag over his shoulder and walked in, Shutting the door quietly. He lived in the dorms, But he was going for a walk before school. He looked around the school for Amilia and found her in the gym. "Hey, Amy." He said, Sitting next to her. "Who might you be?I'm Kori." He said to Helen. He leaned on Amilia's shoulder and read with her. "You are obsessed with this stuff." He teased her.

Ah, so this girl had been coming to the school since childhood. That explained why she seemed so comfortable here, not at all awkward and unsure the way Helen was. When asked what it was like in the dorms, Helen pondered that for a moment, then replied, "Quiet. But, I don't have a room mate. I had one, when the year started, but she asked to be moved. I think perhaps some of my habits bothered her." Like the fact that Helen was prone to burning herbs that gave off smoke that had some...drug-like effects. It helped her with her trances, but her former roomie had just thought that she was a drug addict. That, and when Helen had predicted her grandmother's death she had seemed not to appreciate it. The young oracle had not done it to hurt the girl's feelings, but to give her time to prepare for the grief it would cause.

She leaned over a bit to peer at the book that Amy held, never having seen such a thing before. Helen read over a the pages, then sat back. She saw nothing wrong with it; where she came from, love in all its forms was welcome, and relationships between two men or two women were nothing unusual. Her own father, in fact, had a lover, a man that Helen referred to as her uncle. He had helped raise her right alongside her parents and Helen loved him like a father. She glanced up again as a young man entered and asked who she was. "My name is Helen," the oracle responded.

Kori smiled. "Nice to meet you, Helen." He said.Amilia looked up. "Oh, Really?Kori. What have you go to say?" She asked.Kori sighed. "Like I said many times." He said to her. "It's just like living in a house. But, Smaller. And, With yourself or one person." He said.He grunted when Amilia hit him in the stomach. "You are such a brat." He growled quietly. She gave him a smile and read again.Kori sighed. "You wont take your eyes off that book, Will ya?" He said.He took the book away and put it in his bag, Sighing. "You'll get a headache." He said. "Well, I have to go." He said.He smiled to them both. "Here's the book back, Amy." He waved to Helen and went.

When Ethan came to, he was laying in front of a large building, the Yoru Academy building. He had no belongings- no bags and no backpack- except for the clothes on his body. Most importantly, however, he had no recollection of when or how he had gotten there, and that was a problem.

The male stood up and brushed the dirt out of his clothes. His hair blew around him gently, courtesy of the soft wind that was blowing out of the East. Looking around, he tried to figure out where he was and what he was doing there. Unfortunately for him, the grounds around him were void of life. It seemed as if he was the only one around.

Kori sighed, Walking to his dorm to get a couple of things from his room.He unlocked the door and slammed the door open, Nearly hitting the bed.He smiled, Hearing the meows of his kitten. He bent over, Petting the little thing and picked him up. "Let's go get you some food in the bowl." He said, Kicking the door close behind him.He set the cat down and put food in his bowl. "There ya go, Little one." He said.He took the papers off of the table. He walked back out of the room, Making sure to lock the door.

Kori groaned, Walking to the library. He passed the entrance, Seeing a new guy and smiled a bit. "You need help?" He asked kindly.

Ethan jumped slightly when the other boy spoke to him but recovered quickly. "Well, yes, or no. If you have time?" He smiled sheepishly, one hand scratching his head. "I'm actually not sure where I am or, really, who I am. Could you help me with either... or both?"

Kori laughed slightly. "Sure I could help you. But, I'm not exactly sure who you are, Either." He said, Now frowning. "But, I know that you are here.In Yoru Academy." He told him. "Do you seriously not know who you are?" He asked. He sighed softly. "That must be hard to not know who you are." He frowned, Looking at the boy. "But, Are you serious?" He asked.

Kitayo Nohisu
        Mythology Teacher
              Female/23/Bi
                  Einherjar - Single

|| S T A Y x A W A Y x F R O M x V A L H A L L A ||

Kitayo sighed gently. Not only was she not sure where her class was, but she had no idea as to where she was. The silver haired female looked up to the ceiling and made an audible grunt. A scent of dissatisfaction tickled at her nose and a feeling of insecurity pitched a tent in her chest. Her violet eyes gleamed as well did the metal skull's. Instead of looking with a naked humane eye, she opened her "third eye" and saw the aura of the building and the beings rustling around in it. Somehow the Einherjar had made her way to the third floor with no recollection of a second flight of stairs. Quickly, the female put a palm to her forehead and sighed once more.

Kitayo felt as though she was only a being of chi, the world around her was blue-white and wavering. With a swift motion she threw her own energy, her black ball of chi, down to the first level and opened her eyes again. Running her fingers throughout the silver bangs that covered her eye, she pushed them away and traversed forth, finding the grand double doors. Having little to no interest in what lies behind it, she felt like moving along, but of course something drew her closer. The doors opened themselves.

Books. For seemingly miles, all Kitayo saw was books. Walls lined with them, stacks of them on desks, and a grand desk farther back in the room. A black shadow, humanoid figure, was sitting behind the desk with a clear grin. It's paper-white teeth showed brightly and sharply against the black-shadow figure. It nodded and went back to typing on it's computer. A sense of danger nearby ran up down her spine and settled at the base of her neck for a moment or two, and ran back down faster than it ran up. Her head ticked to the left and found a beautiful being sitting and reading.

Without notice, Kitayo sat in front of the lass and looked down at the book. World War Two. Pictures of concentration camps and the torturous things they put their people through shown clearly on the page. Kitayo had a sense that the female was not trusting the book, that the female had something in her mind that no one knew. The dull white pages with black Tahoma font may have seemed dull to others, but it's the words that danced that needed attention. A flip of the page by the female made Kitayo come back to the present and look up at the lass. "Hello, mistress. May I ask why I feel an odd sense that you know more than this book."

      ((OOC: GEEZ! That's a LOT. xD ))

Helen watched as Amy's friend (?) left the gym, pausing to give back the book he had taken from her. She peered at the book again, then at Amy asking, "Who was that boy? A friend of yours?" She had started to wonder where Amy lived, if she did not live in the dorms, though the most obvious explination seemed to be that she lived somwhere in town, perhaps with family. Helen picked up the taort cards again and started shuffling them as she stood up. "Care to take a walk with me?" she asked Amy, "I've not yet had a chance to look around the school much and I'm very curious as to what other creatures are here."

His face fell a little bit. "I just woke up here, and I can't remember much of anything. Why would I joke about that?" Ethan looked around nervously. So, he was at a school? The only reason why he would be at a school that he could think of was that he was going there. Perhaps that was what he was here for? But if so, why had he shown up this way?

Kori thought for a second. "Maybe you are listed in the school records.Let's go check if we can find a profile." He said, Taking the other boys hand and leading him. "By the way.I'm Kori.I know it's not much use to know others identity's but not yours." He said with a small smile.

He opened the door and took him to the back room, Sneaking in.He flipped through the papers, Trying to find one that had a picture close to what he looked like. "Hmm." He stopped for a second, Shaking his head and continuing.

Ethan followed him silently as a ghost, his hair swishing softly as he walked. He didn't hide, though, or sneak. It wasn't like he knew they were doing anything wrong. "Why are you sneaking, Kori? Are we doing something wrong?" The boy walked up right behind him and peeked over his shoulder at the files.

Kori thought. "I dunno.I just like to sneak." He said with a smile. He kept looking and found one that was pretty close to what the boy looked like. "Is this you?" He asked. "Oh..." He said, Chuckling nervously. "Sorry." He said. "It looks close." He said, Holding the paper up beside the boy's head. "I wonder if this is you or not." He said.

"Ah, I see...it's good that you have a friend here; everyone needs a friend." She smiled a bit as she made her way out of the gym, adding, "Let's go find the library; I've been looking forward to seeing that since I arrived here." She wandered the halls, eventually leading Amy to the library. Helen loved books, and had been quite eager to visit the school's library to see what tomes of knowledge were held within. She paused jsut inside the door, inhaling the familiar smell of paper and ink, though she couldn't help but feel jsut a little bit on edge. The library was enourmous, with many hidden spaces. One never could be too careful, and even an oracle didn't always know what was coming. She wandered further into the library, pausing for a moment as she finally drew two cards from her tarot deck: the Fool and the Six of Cups.

The Fool card was upright, a sign that could mean new beginnings, new adventures, or new opportunities. A good sign, in Helen's opinion. The Six of Cups was also a very positive sign. While it could mean happiness from the past, it could also mean a new friendship. Helen glanced at Amy, smiling just a touch. Today had, so far, gone quite swimmingly and it looked like things were only going to get better from there.
