Ezreal awoke to a small blinding light of the rising sun seeping in through his bedroom window. "hmm..what time is it?" He moaned, looking over at the digital clock that rested on his night stand. Of course, he was already up before the actual alarm went off, but that wasn't anything new to him. Ezreal out stretch out of bed rubbing his eyes. Finally, the blonde haired teen crawled out of bed, grabbing his clothes that he laid out the night before. Ezreal took his time getting his school stuff together; since he was early. Ezreal began his trudge to Yokota Academy. This wasn't his first year attending the school. His parents thought it would be best to enroll him in a school with a better background. Honestly, he wasn't that surprised he was accepted. Ezreal had very good grades, and never got in trouble throughout his school career. He tried his best to get a long with everyone and be the best Student Council President he could be. Even though Ezreal presents himself to be well behaved and well mannered ; He has a devilish rebel side to him which he rarely shows. After he checked that his outfit was decent and presentable to be able to go out in public in. Picking up his messenger bag backpack and throwing it over his shoulder.

After he got all this stuff to together he carried it down stairs to his fathers car. Everything was all just going great ; nothing keeping him from making it to school on time .After the car arrived to the school gates. He jumped out of the car grabbing his bag before his father could wish him "good luck' .The teen eagerly passed through the gates of the school with a bright look on his face. He was overwhelmed but still excited. However, he was in a hurry to check up on the student council room.As he walked into the familiar building, he saw a multitude of students, some new, some old. He loved being person to greet the First year students and welcoming back the Second and Third students back. Everything was just perfect and he wasn't quite ready to settle down in his dorm just yet , he was to excited and decided to go to the student council room instead.

XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXEmmett silently watched the cars go by from the window of the taxi. Part of him wanted to tell the driver to turn around and take him home, he'd come back tomorrow, but he was almost at the school, and no matter what day he arrived, he still had to go. Better sooner than later, right? He could already feel the butterflies in his stomach as the campus came into sight. This would be his third year at the school, but he was still nervous. It'd been like that since he was young. Starting the school year was just... nerve-wracking. It'd just be aother year of sitting alone at lunch an sharing a room with someone he'd never talk to. It wasn't his idea of fun at all.
When the cab stopped, Emmett paid the driver with a quiet thank you and retrieved his bags from the trunk. Before he did anything, he'd need to drop his things off at his dorm. There was no getting around that, but he still hoped his roommate wouldn't be there when he got there. Emmett wasn't fond of meeting new people, he always ended up embarrassing himself due to the fact that he was, well... himself. And that was a socially awkward loser. He'd been told that once at his old school, and maybe it was a little mean, but he definitely agreed with the boy. That was exactly what he was.
Emmett had no trouble finding the dorms, he'd memorized most of the campus already. Sure, he would still have some problems finding new classes, but he knew his way to the library and cafeteria like the back of his hand, or something like that. Was that how the phrase went? Brushing a few white strands of hair from his face, he entered the room, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw it was empty. He placed his bags unceremoniously on his choice of bed and retrieved his notebook and pen from one of the zipper compartments of his suitcase. He didn't really want to stay in his dorm, mostly because he wasn't ready to meet his roommate if he came by. He would go to the rooftop instead. He wanted to take a look at the gardens and, maybe, sketch a few of the flowers. So, Emmett left to make his way to the rooftop, starting to feel a bit more relaxed about being at school again.
Taking a seat on the ground by the flowers that he thought bloomed the most beautifully, he flipped to a clean page and began to sketch their shapes carefully, letting himself become engulfed in his work.

Reiki sat primly in the back seat of a plush black car while his father and stepmother ogled him through the rear-view mirror. His father was a lawyer by trade but he resembled a vintage Italian mobster in both appearance and manner. Gaining and keeping his respect was the only substantial thing in their parent/child relationship. His stepmother sure was deadly match, she was a big shot fashion designer who was quickly moving up the ranks to owning the whole company. The only relationship they had was the one where took top of the line clothes and didn't tell his father just exactly how she was climbing those ranks. Reiki hadn't approved of her from the start and when he voiced his opinion he left his father’s study with a bruise marring his porcelain skin. It served him right to sleep with a hussy.

The silence was broken by gravel crunching followed with a gruff “Make me proud.”...As if anything Rei did would meet that unholy standard. The blue haired male nodded silently and disappeared like a ghost from the back seat to retrieve his bags from the opened trunk. No sooner did he close the hatch did the car pull away without so much as a wave goodbye. It was just as well, if either of them began to express such concern he’d probably have to start writing his will. Rei shrugged his bags into place over his shoulders and made the trek onto school grounds. His first stop would be his dorm room, his precious belongings needed to be put away before something happened to them.

It didn't take long for him to find his room and claim command over his half carefully filling a large portion of the book case with his multitude of nearly identical leather-bound music journals. The rest of his possessions, aside from his collection of guitars and music equipment, were put away with much less care. When everything was in order to his satisfaction for the time being Reiki plucked the last journal from its shelf and hooked his pen to it. There were only two things that had likely stuck to Reiki’s reputation from the previous year as far as his peers were concerned. The first being his role as head of the Music Club, the other, his obsession with his black and gold engraved pen. The pen had been a present from his mother when he turned twelve, her hopes being he would be a writer like herself.

Fortunately she wasn't the least bit disappointed to find dozens of pages filled with poetry in the signature silver ink that was ordered custom made for the pen. Reiki kept a case of refill cartridges in his dresser just in case he had a good year. It was a long wait to get a new shipment of refills so he tried to keep his stash at least half full at all times. With everything seemingly in order Rei left the room and decided to wander the campus until inspiration hit him for a new song. It wasn't like there was anything important he needed to do or anyone he particularly wanted to see.

He hadn't particularly cared to come back to Yokota Academy again."Only one more dreadful year..." Axel had muttered to himself as he rolled his eyes. It had honestly sucked being at this school, well then again, it was his last years. He wasn't quite happy about that either, grunting as he lays his head on the window " I won't get to spend any time with Ezu-kun" muttering under his breath .This was very much a huge surprise he been going to this school for so long ;Because unlike Ezreal ; Axel's grades and behavior records weren't something that would be much admired."Good thing Ezu-kun in the student conical" he smirked at this thought. With a rather large grumble, Axel exit the car grabbing his belongings as he waved to his mother goodbye. Throwing his bags straps over his shoulder as he glaced up and notice something on the main gate ; Welcome, students, to a new year at Yokota Academy! read a sign outside on top of the main Gate of the school. sighing Axel pushed passed the other students socializing at the gate, He wasn't quite in the mood to talk anyone ;He honestly wanted to settle into his dorm and take a nap before the dean gave his welcoming speech. Dragging his feet and belongs as he reached the dorm building . He was on the second floor with another student that he was quite aware it wasn't his brother or any of the old students .He honestly wished he got paired with Ezreal but what can you do. He moved into the building and began cursing under his breath. It had been apparent that he hadn't liked this school since he had started attending two years ago. Now he was on his third, but at the same time, he was also capable of saying that he had fun with all of the old students the year before. Nonetheless, Axel had had quite the wonderful roommate the past two years, but since he had finished his schooling at the academy, Axel was forced to attain a new one. He wasn't sure who it would be but he was going to find him. They guy he had last year and they year before that happened to a chemistry that was compatible with Axel's ,the two of them had grown to be best friends. It was something that Axel thought he would have never been capable of, but apparently he too can make friends .Together they hit on guys and used them as they pleased, but nor more than that. Now he has to start all over again ...."He probably like another good toe shoes like the student council bastards." He groaned as he enter his dorm room throwing his bags across the room to his side as he flops down into his bed. █▌█▌ █▌ █▌ █▌ █▌ █▌ █▌

Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap…

“Nathaneal, honey, please stop that tapping…” the soft sound of Nathaneal’s mother was not enough to penetrate the loud music that always seemed to be blaring through the kid’s poor ears. The mother glanced over, about to question why he wasn’t stopping, when she was reminded by the music she could hear coming from his headphones. With a sigh and a small shake of her head, she carefully reached over, making sure her eyes didn’t leave the road in front of them, and pulled the set of headphones off of Nathaneal’s head
.
“As if it wasn’t already bad enough that you are hard-of-hearing, but it is like you deliberately try to destroy what is left of your hearing with that loud music, you need to listen to it more quietly,” the mother gave him a soft warning, glancing over at her son who looked at her as if he had not done anything wrong.

“What?”

Nathaneal’s mother mentally slapped herself. Of course he wasn’t listening to her just then either. “I said,” she spoke a little more loudly this time, “you need to listen quietly to your music, otherwise you will be completely deaf! And stop that tapping thing you were doing.”

Nathaneal looked at his mom, completely used to this kind of talk. Of course the both of them knew what his answer would be (“But mom, I can’t hear it any quieter!”), so he kept his mouth shut. He replaced his headphones back over his ears, which were adorned with bright orange hearing aids, and turned the volume down, returning his gaze out the window.

He was soon greeted by the sight of the new school. He was pretty excited about this new adventure considering he was to be living with someone other than his parents. He loved his parents, yes, but he wanted to see other people. His parents, being a tad overprotective of their “poor disabled kid”, hardly let him go much places by himself so this was a chance to prove that he could survive just as well as any other despite his hearing. It took a lot of coaxing and begging to let him apply for this school but they finally decided to give him a chance. Within seconds of finding a place to stop the car, Nathaneal hopped out of the car, opened the trunk and started to pull all his stuff and set it aside.

After having to literally pull himself away from his distraught mother, he practically ran into school, pulling his luggage behind him. Once he was out of view of his mom, he gave himself a silent cheer and little victory dance. Then with that, he quickly made his way to his dorm to throw his stuff inside so he could go explore his new school a bit more. He always could rearrange his stuff later; after all he was going to live here. With that, Nathaneal made his way through the school slowly, moving along to the rhythm of his music and mouthing along to the song as he looked about.

“I’m calling out from Scatmans World. If you wanna break free,” Nathaneal sung under his breath, bobbing his head to the old tune, “you better listen to me.” He smiled his cheery smile, checking out everyone he passed and peering into the occasional room, looking for anything that might catch his fancy. “You got to learn how to see in your fantasy~!”

Indent " Are you ready to go? "

Indent He looked up from the pile of papers on his desk, blinking tiredly at his mother standing in the entrance to his bedroom. " ...Go? " Wait. What time was it? Seiji ran a hand over his face and looked at the clock, all too conscious of his mothers eyes glued to the back of his head. When he caught sight of the illuminated numbers he couldn't help a grimace. It was already time to head down to the school. Crap. He'd been up all night working on that song... " Right. Uh, gimme a minute. " He could hear his mother sigh from the doorway - no doubt she was fully aware of just how much (or, more appropriately, how little) sleep her son had gotten the night before. But she left to give him a moment of privacy, and Seiji got out of his chair, stretching - and flinching at the cracks and pops his joints made. He'd been sitting for way too long. Everything was so stiff.

Indent With a quick stop by his closet to grab some clean clothes from the ones he didn't have packed, Seiji walked briskly down the hall to the bathroom for a brief, yet boiling hot shower. It helped to loosen up his muscles, though it did absolutely nothing for his exhaustion. After about five minutes of that he stumbled out of the shower, dried off, dressed and headed downstairs. His mother was waiting for him by the door with his bags, looking somewhere between concerned and exasperated. " Come on. You can nap in the car on the way there. " She gave him a little smile; he managed one back and, with her hand between his shoulder blades, the mother and son made their way out to the car. It was going to be a bit of a drive, so he had about an hour to sleep before they made it to Yokota. Unfortunately for him, it felt like it was the fastest hour of his life. He'd passed out almost as soon as he had his seatbelt on, but by the time he got up he didn't feel any more rested than he had been before falling asleep.

Indent There was the customary 'have a good year' and 'I love you's exchanged when he was dropped off, but from there on he was on his own. With a quiet sigh he hauled the strap of the bag up over his shoulder and headed towards the dorm building to find hs room. Half asleep as he was, though, it didn't take long before he ended up in an accident. As he turned a corner he completely missed sight of the blonde boy poking his head into one of the rooms. So he ended up lightly knocking into the guy. Thankfully it wasn't with much force, since he'd been walking pretty slowly, but it was still embarrassing. Seiji staggered back, blinking several times in shock as he stared at the blonde. It wasn't a face that he recognized; a new student, perhaps? Maybe a first year or a transfer? " ...Excuse me, " he mumbled, averting his red irises for a moment. After a moment to beat back his embarrassment he looked back. " I'm... Sorry. I didn't see you. " A pathetic excuse, but it was the sad truth. With any luck the other guy wouldn't make a scene out of it and they could just go their own ways.

█▌█▌ █▌ █▌ █▌ █▌ █▌ █▌

Nathaneal was pretty much in his own world, checking out his new home for the next couple of years. He had to admit he was kind of nervous considering he had never been all that far from his parents before, nor had he had any experience living on his own. His mother was a pretty big worry-wart and always watching Nathaneal like a cat. In fact, they were so worried about his hearing being a problem they tried everything in their power to make the house more equipped to handle someone like Nathaneal: flashing alarm systems, blinking lights when the doorbell was rung, and so forth. However, they even implemented some strange rules that caused for Nathaneal’s lack of experience such as to not cook anything in the kitchen, especially on the stove since he could not hear the beeping when the food was done, and he didn’t think he was ever going to learn how to drive either at this rate. Oh well, at least this was his chance to change for the better or for the worst! Perhaps he could show his parents he really did not need them to worry so much!

He reached into his pocket, mindlessly unlocking his Ipod and turning the volume up a bit louder on his music, causing it to be blasting loud enough for other people to hear. However he was so used to this volume, hearing aids or not, it didn’t seem to faze him. Instead it just seemed to fuel his peppy attitude as he stopped to admire one of the rooms. “I wonder if this, uh, school has a music club?” Nathaneal moved onto the next room, peering in as if searching now. “I dunno if I would be any good or somethin’ but… I like music,” Nathaneal huffed to himself, running a hand through his messy orange-ish-blonde hair. He did love music, and his hearing damage from all that music listening certainly showed for it.

While he was mindlessly checking out rooms, he was taken from his train of thought when he felt a sudden bump against his arm. It wasn’t like he had been intentionally shoved, but it caught his attention. Nathaneal took his eyes away from the room for a moment to look at the guy that now stood flustered before him. It took a second of staring at his moving lips for Nathaneal to realize he was actually talking with him. His lips parted slightly with a small gasp as he took off the headphones and stuck them around his neck. Underneath his headphones, like usual, he also had his hearing aids one which were a vibrant orange color. He looked the boy up and down quickly, trying to register what he had just said but he had gotten lost somewhere between seeing that he had been speaking to him, and taking off his headphones. So he just decided to take a guess.

“Uh, ya’ don’t need to worry ‘bout bumpin’ into me,” he started off slowly and a little bit quietly, still trying to adjust to the transition from blaring loud music that he had been listening too (which still continued to blare through the headphones around his neck). He gave the boy a reassuring smile and a small fist-bump on his shoulder as if they were pals. “Accidents happen, ya’ know?” He took another good look at this student, the obliviously happy smile still on his face.

With a slight tilt of his head he gave the student a more serious look now. “Are ya’ okay? Ya’ kinda look a bit tired there. I can see it in yer’ eyes,” he pointed out, chuckling a bit. Nathaneal was raised to be an honest kid, but sometimes he was so brutally honest. He never meant any bad by it, but he wasn't completely the brightest child on the block. He still had a few quirks to fix and he was not going to get those chances staying cooped up and quiet all the time.

Indent The two stared at one another for a moment before Seiji realized that the blonde was, in fact, wearing large headphones. He could even hear the music from where he was standing if he paid attention. The young musician almost cringed. How much lamer could he even look by this point? He was talking to someone who didn't even hear him. ...Right after that thought his companion removed his headphones and Sei caught sight of the vibrant orange devices in his ears. Hearing aids. He almost did facepalm this time. He hadn't said anything out loud, but somehow he felt like an a** anyways. Red eyes stared at blue, the brunette growing more awkward in the silence before the kid finally spoke. He had a bit of an odd way of speaking, but that only registered for a moment. He could still hear the music from the headphones; even better now, in fact, since they were hanging around the others neck.

Indent The blonde gave him a playful punch on the shoulder, as if they'd known one another for ages. Seiji just frowned, eyes narrowing a little. What could he say? He didn't really like strangers touching him. " ...Right, " he muttered, his slight frown in obvious contrast to this guys bright smile. There was another stretch of silence in which the other student stared at him, head tilting a little to the side. It was kind of cute - kind of like a dog would do when they didn't understand something. He shoved the thought aside quickly and folded his arms over his chest. The kid pointed out his exhaustion, and at that, he really couldn't help a brief roll of the eyes. " How observant of you, " he said flatly. This time he did sound like a bit of an a**, but he quietly tacked on at the end, " It's because I haven't slept. " It wasn't any of the other boys business, but it wasn't like it was some secret or anything. He'd just forgotten to get to bed the night before.

Nathaneal kept his goofy grin until hearing how the other student seemed a bit agitated. This worried him a little and his eyes averted to the floor for a moment, trying to rethink what he had just said. Sadly Nathaneal wasn’t the best versed in what was “in” or what was appropriate to say to people his age. It really wasn’t Nathaneal’s fault…. Okay, it was his entire fault for being ditzy and always listening to music, but he did try his hardest. Here he was, 15, going to his first public school, and already making bad impressions. I guess I need to fix this then! He bit his lip, sucking in some air real quick, and tapped gently on his headphones. “I-I see, I’m sorry,” He finally stuttered, keeping his eyes down, trying to figure out something else to say to not seem like a complete loser.

…Then he noticed his music was still playing from his headphones. “A-ah!” Nathaneal grabbed his headphones from around his neck and pulled his Ipod out of his pocket. “Do ya’ listen to a lot of music? Cuz’ I got like six bajillion songs on here and, uhm,” Nathaneal unlocked his Ipod and began flipping through his list of songs, searching for one, “and uh, I think this song really helps with sleepin’.” He found it and looked up to the boy as he unplugged his headphones from the Ipod and pushed play, playing one of his songs. He smiled at the boy, holding his Ipod up for him to hear, as if it wasn’t already loud enough.

”Honestly I like songs with people singin’ in them but I guess ya’ cannot be too picky,” he rambled a little, moving to scratch his head but bumping his face with his headphones instead. He let out a small squeak from his stupidity for forgetting they were in his hand and gave the boy a sheepish, embarrassed laugh. ”Sorry, I guess ya’ might wanna sleep or somethin’ . If ya’ like the song the artist is called…” he held the Ipod to his eyes, squinting to read the tiny text and began to read the name, butchering the pronunciation completely, ”Gee-ah Peng Fang?? I cannot speak, uh, whatever this is,” he slowly got quieter, glancing at the boy and then the Ipod nervously.

He knew he was probably holding the boy back from his plans, and he knew he had a bad habit of rambling cause he was often stopped by his parents. He quickly turned his Ipod off and shoved it back into his pocket after re-plugging his headphones into it. ”I probably am not helpin’, huh? Haha, sorry, I tenda ramble I guess… I’ll go!” He smiled shyly, his face slightly flustered. He turned around about to head off but as quickly as he turned around, he stopped and turned right back to face the boy. ”Oh! Do ya’ know if there is like a music club or a choir club and who I hafta talk to to get in?” He paused, ”If ya know…

Mihai shifted his duffel bag on his shoulder before taking another drag on his kretek. The boy had to stifle a yawn; he had used the excuse of needing some clothing and supplies from home to hang out with his dad one last time before he settled into the new school year and they had partied pretty late. The next morning he had taken the bus to the school, but it dropped him off a couple of blocks away from campus. He supposed he should have tried harder to shake his father awake to drive him, but he was sure the man would be horribly hung over after a night of heavy drinking. Mihai wasn’t exactly up to par yet himself, but he had to attend his classes. It was his first day in a new school and he didn’t want to start off his year as a truant. Well, that was a lie; he wanted to, but there were consequences to such actions. Maybe not for one day, but one day could easily start a trend.

Ah, what was he going to do, living in a blasted dorm? Living with his father had been so easy; the man really didn’t care what he did as long as he didn’t actually get locked up. But if he got busted while living in the dorm, there was no one who would cover for him; he was on his own. He had no friends there. Well, he could always make new friends. Mihai smirked at the thought then stopped to crush the butt of his kretek against the heel of his shoe. Making new friends did sound like quite a bit of fun. Assuming he was even remotely awake enough to be his … charming self.

Mihai made his way to the dorm and went inside, checking the acceptance paperwork he had been sent to find his room. He didn’t have a lot of time before assembly and so the boy darted to his door, pushed it open and tossed his duffel bag inside. He would figure out where he could shove his stuff later; he didn’t have all that much to put away, anyway. Travel light; he always traveled light just like his pops. Now a bit lighter still, Mihai broke into a jog to make his way to the assembly hall before the first assembly started.

Murasaki woke up from the beeping sound coming from his alarm clock. The morning sun had came much much earlier than he had anticipated. He was never a morning person and waking up early in the morning made his . Sometimes, he would just picked up the damn thing and threw it across the room or out of the window and return to his sleep. There were times he would just sat on his bed, staring at the window of his room and let the alarm went off on its own. Unlike the usual days, he had to get ready earlier. For school, of course. His part-time job as a book shopkeeper had already ended last summer. The time he reached towards the alarm, it managed to beep louder before he switched it off...

It didn't took him long to reach the academy. Just a good forty-five minutes of ride from the city. The first day of school had just started and he had to dress in the uniform to attend as the third year student. He didn't had any problem with the formal attire as long as he could match his clothes with the violet hoodie he always wore wherever he goes. He had a low body temperature so he tend to dress a little heavily than how the other students would. That wasn't the issue though. He was like the rest of them too, all hale and hearty. Just a little bit nervous whenever he meet new students or teachers.

As he dragged his belongings all the way to the dorm room, he was glad that the room wasn't occupied yet. The male student then set his bags beside an empty bed and took out a couple of note books and novels to decorate the empty desk. He hang his clothes in the wardrobe and finally flung himself onto his bed, heaving a tired sigh. Murasaki slowly sat up and leaned against the headboard. Two years had passed since he was here again. His parents sent him here just so he could earn a piece of paper. He didn't had many friends despite being a senior. Nobody seemed to hate him and he didn't seemed to stand out in a crowd either. The only thing he lacked of was the ability to talk freely to someone he just met.

Since third year student had a free period after breakfast, Murasaki decided to take a stroll and looked out for anything interesting the school would most likely to provide him. He put the volume of his music player to the maximum again after he changed the playlist he was currently listening to. The surrounding buildings weren't new to him but it was quite enjoyable to aimlessly wander during a leisure time. Sure, it was the final year but it wouldn't hurt to enjoy such tranquility.

                                                                                "Are we there yet?"

                                                                                "Answer meeeeeeee!"

If Ran had some humanity in him, he'd understand that the taxi driver was beyond irritated by his behavior. Kicking the front passenger seat, Ran was feeling way to excited and hyper for his own good. On a normal day, he'd skate his way to the school, but he couldn't exactly carry his luggage with him while skating. However, it was killing him to sit in this metal can with wheels. Bouncing in his seat, he touch his hands obsessively, seriously struggling to understand why it was taking so long to get to school. He figured that if he took a nap at the beginning of the ride, that he'd wake up at the school.

                                                                                Apparently that wasn't the case.

Tapping his head against the window out of boredom, he turned to the mirror in the front before trying to make faces into the tiny rear mirror, and giggling. Ran was definitely not ready but completely ready for high school. Tapping the window, he looked out before he saw a huge school. Growing excited he accidentally kicked the driver's seat, not that he was sorry for it.

                                                                                "Arewehereyetwe'rehereright?!"

The driver sighed as Ran watched the building with excitement. Finally, he was going to be a high schooler in a cool school with dorms. He didn't have to live with his parents, and he could live with other people. That meant he could be with people. All. The. Time. As the taxi came to a stop, Ran jumped out of the taxi with his small bag with his rollerblades. "Thank you~~!" Not receiving a response, Ran ran to the back and pulled out his large suitcase and backpack before walking around. He seriously needed to find out where his dorm room was. It was tiring carrying around three different bags. Dragging his things along, Ran looked around rapidly before quickly identifying where the dorms were. The faster he was able to drop off his bags, the faster he could be on skates and go and meet friends -or victims-.

Surprisingly, it didn't take too long to find his room and drop of his belongings. Entering his room, Ran walked over to one side, dropped his bag and luggage before sitting on the bed and strapping on his rollerblades. Already excited to go and meet others, he stood up on his wheels, shoved the tiny bag into his pocket, and skated out of his room, slamming the door behind him. Now, was hunting for a friend time, gracefully dodging all the students in the building, he made his way outside as he spun happily. 'Now I just need to find my first friend!!" Skating around, Ran made sure to take a chance to look at the scenery. He already loved the place.

Skating aimlessly, Ran suddenly noticed another student by himself. Instantly, he focused all his attention on him. Plus, he looked older, and smart. 'I FOUND YOU!' Mad skating over to him, he literally spun in front of him before stopping inches away from him. Tilting his head back and forward, he peered up at the student and looked at his glasses. 'Well he looks smart....' Smiling brightly at him, Ran waved at him before skating a little bit backwards. "Hiiii!!!!!!" his wide and bright smile didn't fade as he swung his arms. "You look smart can we be friends?" Smiling brightly, he nodded a few times, before pausing and giggling.

"Sorry what's your name? And we can be friends right?"

A faint yawn leaked out of the young man's lips. "Sleepy, so sleepy.~" Shun was definitely not a morning person. He hated waking up early, but that was exactly what he had done that morning. Slow as a snail, he crawled out of the warm fortress that was his bed and dragged himself to the shower. There was already a fresh pair of clothes so there was no need for Shun to dig through his mostly empty draws. Shun was often forgetful, especially in the mornings when his brain did not work, so he usually had to prepare in advance. Groggily, he turned on the water, allowing the warm liquid to wash away his drowsiness. It wasn't long before Shun had enough and turned off the water. Quickly, he dried himself so as not to get chilled and got dressed.

Even with the shower, Shun was not fully awake. He couldn't be without some sugar to get his brain running. Slowly, though still quicker than before his shower, Shun moved to the kitchen. Skillfully, he worked with ease, his great amount of experience in the culinary department quite obvious. After pulling out a waffle maker, he began making the batter. When he decided the batter was ready, he poured just the right amount on and pressed the waffle maker closed. A little while passed before he opened the top and a delicious smell wafted up. Eager to dig in soon, he cleared the waffle maker and repeated the process a few times. It didn't take long for him to finish. Shun brought the plate to the dining room and poured a generous amount of syrup onto the waffles. He also opened a box of blueberries and after washing them quickly, plopped them on to the syrupy mess.

With the preparations done, Shun then proceeded to destroy his neatly stacked tower of waffles."Yum!" He called out, delighted by the sugary sweetness. Ten minutes later, the crispy yellow stack of waffles was nowhere to be seen. Satisfied with his meal and happy with his no longer clouded mind, Shun gave a soft smile. He set about the task of washing the dishes and quickly finished only to find a note on the table. Probably because he had been half asleep, but he hadn't noticed it before. Quickly, he scanned the note's content. All it said was how his mother wished him well and a few other trivial matters. Shun's family all had difficulty waking up early, so his mother had probably just opted to write the note. It was his last year and she probably figured he knew how to handle himself by now. Well, he would be in trouble if he hasn't known how to handle things by now. With that thought, Shun smiled warmly, before writing a return note to his mother.

Cheerfully, Shun went to his room to retrieve his suitcase and loaded it into his car. Shivering as he came back in from the garage, he grabbed a warm coat and wrapped it around himself. Before leaving for the last time, he went to the refrigerator and pulled out a cake box. Inside was a strawberry shortcake he had baked the night before for the purpose of sharing it with his roommate, Seiji. In a good mood, Shun left, whispering, "I'm leaving now." as he passed the door. It would be a while before he returned home, but he was looking forward to seeing his friends. Shun carefully placed the cake box in the passenger's seat as he climbed into the driver's seat. His suitcase was in the backseat. To tell the truth, Shun had sent his luggage to his dorm room in advance, so he didn't have that much to bring. In fact, he only had a few pairs of clothes in his suitcase. Most of it was filled with delicious treats he had either bought or made himself. Pulling out a bag of hard candy from his coat pocket, he popped a few pieces into his mouth and started the car. The ride was quite comfortable as there was not that much traffic.

Shun parked his car and took out the luggage, then made a b-line for his dorm room. During the car ride, he had finished the hard candies, so he was now eating some truffles he had made along with the strawberry shortcake the night before. As he turned the corner, he was met with one familiar face and another unfamiliar face accompanied by very loud music. The familiar face was that of his roommate. Shun approached the two with a greeting, "Hey!" As he walked closer, he noticed that Seiji didn't look so good. It was apparent that he had not gotten enough sleep based on the dark bags under his eyes. Shun knew his roommate long enough to be able to guess that he had been working on a song all night long in return for those bags. Shun thought for a second before offering the bag of truffles to Seiji. "Here, eat some of these. They'll help keep you awake. At this rate, you won't last through the dean's assembly. Oh, unless you want to skip. If that's the case, I can make you something to help you sleep." Shun wasn't sure where, but he had read something about not consuming preserved and smoked meat, chocolate, spicy foods, and a few other things because they could prevent, to some extent, getting a good nights sleep. Since he didn't have any of the other two foods on hand, he had just offered Seiji some chocolate, which Shun happened to have a lot of.

Reiki looked around the grounds. Everyone was moving at their own pace, but there was a rhythm to the chaos. The over achievers and more studious of the population were rushing to and fro trying to prepare before the assembly to mark the official start of the school year, then there was an undercurrent as early arrivals like himself wandered in search of a new purpose. Finally, The underachieving schmucks leisurely sitting about as the base. With a calming breath Reiki turned the scene into a song first for his acoustic guitar then replicated the set for a piano and violin in his black book and left the title as merely Symphony 239. Seeing the world the way he did was his only way of coping with his admittedly high-strung nature.

Something resembling a smile fell across his expression as he thought about where he hoped to be in just a few short years. Performing was his passion, but he wasn't hard pressed to find alternative work. Already Reiki had a recording deal in negotiation with an American company and he had made more than a few friends with a rival fashion company. Frankly, Yokota Academy was just a formality. Of course, his ego wouldn't even let him think of being anything less than the best even if he didn't have to be. As of last year Reiki was in the top five percentile of the entire student body. It wasn't even all that hard if you asked him, He didn't exactly have any friends to distract him from his studies.

The calming nature of his thoughts were interrupted by a series of buzzing and clicks that were very out of place for the setting. He’d heard that particular sound before, but not often enough for him to place it blindly. Just as he was going to turn to locate the source, said source had located him. "Hiiii!!!!!! You look smart can we be friends?" was the first thing out of the red head’s mouth. Looking down the noise finally had a name Roller-blades. With an inward sigh Reiki pushed his glasses higher onto the bridge of his nose and looked the other man in the eye studying him.

After some time of silence, mostly on his part, Reiki decided to answer with a simple “Tsukino, and no.” There were very few people who had the gumption to use his first name and only half of them were welcome to it. With such things being said the very idea of being friends was preposterous, why on earth would he even agree to such a thing? There was only one friend Reiki had had long ago, but when his mother died his father had packed and moved them only a day after the services. The events after steeled Reiki from the naivety of friendship. People were only good to get what he wanted, and he wanted fame and to create music for the rest of his life.
