Kacii dragged her sister into the room and stood behind her. "Excuse me!" Kacii said, pretending to be Suki. Suki reached back and slapped her head lightly and looked at the group nervously, hoping they hadn't heard her.

"Yes, friends would be nice too," Mitsuki laughed, playfully flicking Derek's ear. It was so funny to watch him twich like that. She wondered if there were any more boys around, or else over the next days, Mitsuki and Derek would be bombarded with girls looking for a boyfriend.

Suki blushed and looked down. Kacii came out from behind her and sighed. "Hi! I'm Kacii. This is my sister, Suki. She doesn't talk so..." she introduced and looked at her older sister.

Derek tilted his head lightly, wondering if she was born a mute or if something happened. "Can't talk? Such a pity really. Well, it's nice to meet both of you. My names Derek, if you didn't hear it.." He said with a grin, holding out his hand for both of them to shake.

"I'm Mitsuki," Mitsuki said, also putting out her hand while purpose accidentally elbowed Derek in the ribs. "Whoops, sorry," she said to him with a mischevious smile. She hadn't had much fun since last year, it was natural she wanted to have at least some laughing times while in school.

Kacii smiled and shook their hands happily. Suki shook their hands with a shaky one and looked down. "Yeah...she's been that way ever since the whole incident happened...now she never talks to anyone... Kacii explained vaguely.

Mitsuki looked tenderly at Suki, knowing what she must be going through now. If they had lost their parents, teenagers would be at a loss for a short amount of time, maybe more. But smaller children would be scarred or deeply depressed. She gave her a small reassuring hug. "Nice to meet you, Suki," she said, smiling.

Suki looked up and looked at her. She slowly nodded and looked down, rubbing her arm. Kacii smiled. "Well, seems like you made some friends!" Kacii said cheerfully.

Derek playfully glared at Mitsuki before reaching back and bumping her on the head as he reached to rub the back of his neck, almost as if he had an itch. "I'm sure you are." He then looked a bit concerned about Suki but nodded at what Mitsuki said "Yeah, and don't worry, we'll have other ways of communicating, can you do sign language?"

adam finally reached the school, he was out of breath and breathing heavily. He looked aorund to see if anyone else had seen him come,nope..he thought, then started to walk around aimlessly
