-William Luther

There seemed to be a strange tension now forming between the two senseis as they verbally yet calmly argued back and forth regarding the suitable means for Bao's new training. They both had good points and William couldn't really choose a side. He would like to see how Sebastian could handle it however if he felt it wasn't a good match then he would also recommend him to Valorence-sensei. Santiago was a stern teacher but not unreasonable and students either admired him or disliked him because of his zero-tolerence for bad behavior. He was very old-fashioned and commended respect which William did like as it wasn't in a way demeaning or cruel to the students.

He was strict but fair. William didn't know much about Sebastian's teaching methods but he would see soon enough as he would ask Bao about his progress through other sessions he would arrange aside from the one today. Bao did need to see him whether he wanted to or not. This incident would demand mandatory sessions because it had been such a huge catrosphere and diaster that endangered everyone.

William tried to follow the banter between them but his focus became more concerned at how they were referring to Seth. He could have sworn there was some--hidden inunnedo in their words. He didn't quite get it but the way they were speaking it seemed somethign was being conveyed beneath those words. He looked at Seth to see if he was catching their meaning or not. William nodded to Renu's words obediently, "Of course sir." He watched him and the others depart and then quickly focused back on his brother for a moment.

Seth said nothing further towards Renu. That guy better not say anything else like that in the future or he wasn't sure if he'd be able to restrain himself again. He also watched him and the other adminstrators depart before he somehow got caught between the two teachers. He hadn't intended on becoming the new focus of their attentions and he regretted saying anything as Seishiro narrowed in on him much like the predator he described.

He didn't like that look and he knew what it meant and he continued to combat it with his harsh black glare that dared the man to even try ******** with him. He wasn't some idiot mouse like the kids that scampered around here and probably would willingly suck this guy's d**k. He was a handsome guy and regrettably TALLER than he was. He was an adolesencent f**'s dream-boat--so why was he going after the vampire? He must have unique taste like Sebastian.

"You speak about it like it's a thinking creature but it's just a slave right? It does whatever you want?" He questioned perhaps to divert that intense stare and focus it on the bird. He'd heard of Shikigamis at least, spirit servants. They formed of their own master's will and did as they wanted. The talk of hunting should have irritated him with the suggestive innuendo but instead it enticed an enthralled shiver as the hunter in him related to Seishiro's description.

He loved hunting. It was not anything he took shame in as some vampires did. He loved chasing down his prey and fighting them and spinning them down and ripping their throat out with his fangs. It was so primal and exciting and it really got him horny too. He didn't deny those basic instincts.

The way Seishiro spoke of it too really made his mind slip into those brutual moments he enjoyed and it took Sebastian's voice to bring him back. Seth blinked once and pressed his lips together in annoyance at the way he had let Seishiro get to him and his head tilted away pridefully to concean the slightest trace of humiliated pink on his face.

"Yeah, challenges are great but only if you're in the mood for it." He arched a brow at what Sebastian said to Seishiro and somehow the warlock's description and the way he said it annoyed him more. "Who the hell would want to waste their time on some boring weakling like that?"

He scuffed and pushed some hair from his face and twitched slightly upon how Sebastian spoke of 'taking care' of Bao. "Yeah I bet you would." Seth hissed towards Sebastian already imagining what kind of intent could be behind those words and he recalled the way Sebastian had interacted with that annoying student J earlier. It made his skin prickle and agitated him all over. Christ, what the hell was with this jealously? Why should he be envious about Sebastian being attracted to some brat?

He grumbled and hurried off to where they could talk and hoped it would be brief. He wasn't up for anything too involved right now.

"Damned right I am, what do you want?"

Seth demanded and shoved his hands in his pockets as they walked.

With Bao's permission, William got down near him and gently rested his hands right where the bruises were and closed his eyes to whisper a spell in latin. White magic bled from his wrists and fingers and into the tender skin. It warmed and eased and filled out the indented flesh and tinted the black and blue back to it's original healthy shade. It erased all traces and effects of the attack marks. Once he finished, his hands drew back and he smiled at Basil.

"There you are, do you feel pain anywhere else? Also, You shall be required to come to my office later for an evaluation and discussion on what occurred here. Do you have any after school activities scheduled today?" He asked, and glanced at Seishiro briefly as the man kindly suggested taking Basil to his room and he approved of the kind offer with another smile.

"Thanks to Sky. You almost died..."

He reminded him in a gruff tone and then trailed his eyes away a moment as remembering that and how desperate and panicked it had made him was rather embarrassing. His expression was indigant but a trace of that humiliation started to surface in the form of a mild pink burning in those white cheeks. He couldn't make eye-contact with Xian Li at what he was about to admit.

"You scared the s**t out of me. Don't do anything like that again."

The way Xian Li was staring at him didn't aid in diminishing the embarrassment and it assisted in darkening that light rosey color to a crimson hue. Why was he looking at him like that? Was it that unfathomable that he'd stayed here with him all this time? Hadn't he made it clear enough that he was concerned about the human's well-being? Though not even Marculus was sure exactly why. There was nothing pleasant about Xian Li except his body and face and yet..he'd already resolved himself to protecting and watching out for him.

Perhaps he really was just that lonely or perhaps it was because he had seen something inside Xian Li beyond that anger and arrogance. He had seen the pain. He'd seen humanity. It was buried deep but it was there and he may not be able to draw it out but...regardless of what happened between them he wouldn't let Xian Li die. He wouldn't let him be hurt either. He'd stand beside him when he needed it whether Xian Li liked it or not.

It was the redhead's will and he had a strong will. It was something that really motivated the other coven members that were beneath his command. When he led them they felt like they could do anything yet he'd let them down by not being able to save them from that horrible threat that had taken all their lives. The last question confused Marculus now and he arched an eyebrow at it, "Mean what?"

He had no idea what Xian Li was referring to in the least and he hoped the human would at least clarify. "Oh and I'm taking you to the infirmary to rest whether you like it or not. I was ordered to but I would have done it anyway because of what your body went through." He added firmly with a stubborn glare. He'd make sure Xian Li rested appropriately. He was not going to leave him alone until he was sure he'd be fine and would do what he needed to do to fully recover.

|✟ Xian Li Chen ✟|
~Storm~

Xian Li frowned lightly, comfused by the name. Who was Sky? He tried to think back, but a vague impression of blue hair and warmth was all he could recall. Marculus's blush threw him off, and he forgot about asking. What was the vampire so embarased about? Silently, the Chinese watched as Marculus avoid his gaze. Xain Li wasn't in a rush to say anything, but aArculus was taking a long time to say whatever was on his mind...

It was completely unexpected, and Xian Li had no idea how to react. Eyes wide and confused, the boy tried to make sense of it- tried to understand the deep crimson staining Marculus's cheeks and the tame threat. Why..? Why was he saying this- doing this? It confused him and scared him.

Made him hope.

Since when had Marculus cared? Hardly an hour (had it been an hour? Xian li wasn't sure how much time had passed) he'd been so sure Marculus was using him. So angry then, so hurt... how did that turn to this? It didn't make any sense...

No one had ever been afraid of him dying before. Bao had been the one trying to kill him, his father couldn't care either way. His mother... his mother was dead.

So what was this?

Disappointment shot through him when Marculus didn't understand his question. It made no sense, of course- he hadn't exactly elaborated. Still, his despereate bravado turned to reluctance, and he ducked his head.

"Nothing," he muttered. He didn't look up as Marculus continued, but he listened. Marculus seemed to be preparing for some sort of fight. Ha- the boy was learning, but this time Xain Li didn't have the will to protest. At this point, a trip to the infirmary could do nothing to his already shattered pride. He nodded to show he'd been listening, eyes wandering from the grass by his knee to a group of students standing not far away. The moment they were caught staring, they all giggled and turned away, whispering in rushed murmers to eachother. What were they so excited about?

...feh, idiots.

Seishiro Sakurazuka

He didn't like the expression on Sebastian's face. What was it the warlock suddenly took such strange humor in about this argument? Perhaps he already realized why Seishiro was so adamant about changing Bao over to the other defenses teacher?

He didn't need Sebastian getting the wrong impression about him and spreading annoying rumors. His own reputation was already viewed highly by others here. He'd established a good repor in his five years of teaching in the Academy and he doubted anyone who wasn't aware of his true nature would believe the words of one whom hadn't been here long enough to establish such a good record.

It slightly bothered him though that Sebastian was aware of a few things about him that he'd rather someone so deviant and untrustworthy not know. Seishiro didn' t trust him. Just because he did business with his older brother did not give him any reason to trust him at all. Sebastian's character surely didn't encourage him to want to trust him either. Still, even if Sebastian tried to spread anything there was much about Seishiro he didn't know yet and he would not let him gain the upper-hand. The way those unusual eyes stared him urged the formation of a slight frown to furrow across Seishiro's brow but he would not remark on such an unimportant thing.

The focus here was Bao and his persistent claims that Sebastian was not a suitable teacher who could meet Bao's needs. Which he did believe and Sebastian seemed to have the same corrupt personality as his that may tempt him to harass his current toy. He would ensure Sebastian was aware of his claim on this boy and that he better not get any strange ideas. Seishiro was confident that Bao wouldn't easily submit to Sebastian even if the warlock was inclined to attempt making a move on him. Bao was a kind devoted boy that only saw him right now and probably wouldn't even look at another adult the same-way he did him.

The poor thing wasn't yet aware that Seishiro did not intend on staying with only him. Bao was just one of many and he would find that out eventually and it would test to see exactly how attached Bao had gotten to him. Would he disregard his own pride to stay with Seishiro despite knowing he slept with other boys or would he boldly turn away from him and end it there? It would be interesting to see.

He listened closely as Sebastian described his methods for assessing a student's potential and discerning how to go about their training. There still appeared a stubborn skepticism in that one seeing eye that bore hard upon Sebastian and studied him so intently to make certain that all he spoke was truth and he wasn't playing with pretty words just to get him to back down.

"And you're confident you can make appropriate assessments such as these on two different boys within the same session? No child is the same and often methods need to be adjusted to fit their particular needs. I still believe competition is not the best approach for Bao as he is gentler by nature and his power seems to be triggered by anger and fear. However, since you were chosen as a defenses specialist, I suppose I will have to trust in your ways for now but if I am not satisfied with the results I see, I will recommend he is given to Valorence-sensei. Sometimes certain students are only intended for specific senseis whom they connect with more productively than others. I do not believe you are well-suited for Bao, but we'll see. I'll be impressed if you do prove me wrong."

Seishiro admitted in the end with a rather taunting and smug smile edging at the corner of his mouth as if he was intentionally teasing Sebastian but not in a friendly manner. It was a challenge per say and a quiet humiliation of sorts to provoke the Warlock to devote himself appropriately to Bao's progress or else face worse humiliation at failing to do his job. He really didn't know if Sebastian could do it or not. It'd be amusing to see him try.

A dark brow arched at what Sebastian added next about working one on one with Bao. That lessened the smile on his face as his eyes narrowed slightly, was this man trying to mess with him on purpose? Not a wise move at all. Seishiro would bite back.

"It is not your methods that abhor me rather than your attitude and motivation. You seem more amused and curious than concerned about his situation and potential. Our students aren't for your fascination and exploration of your own capabilities as an instructor. If you aren't willing to devote yourself in the appropriate manner than you are indeed unsuited to be a guide for any child. Perhaps you should reconsider your profession? The Academy surely has no need for such a selfish sensei."

His mocking was more intentional now. It purposefully jabbed at Sebastian in retaliation for daring to provoke him in that way. He wouldn't tolerate it. That unseeing eye seemed to gleam with his own malice intended towards the blond warlock. Nobody toyed with him. He would not be played. The harsh glare lessened as his eyes then closed and flowed with that phony smile that curved on his face upon Sebastian's enthusiasm about helping a student.

"That's the spirit. It's what we're here for after all is it not?"

He said with a rather similiar false cheer in his tone as Sebastian's though it didn't quite reach the same pitch and for the most part was rather convincing except by those who knew him well enough to detect it's sarcastic edge. Sebastian may be able to detect it as his brother sometimes used the same intonations in his speech. Their voices sounded rather similiar at times much like their appearances and stature.

His attention gladly narrowed upon the intriguing grumpy vampire at Sebastin's side who had clearly been identified as someone of interest to Sebastian. That made Seishiro want to poke and flirt with him all the more just to get on the warlock's nerves. Seth didn't seem completely against it and his reactions were quite exciting and pleasing to the assassin. Seishiro laughed and nodded to the question, "True he is obligated to follow my will but that does not mean it lacks it's own will and desires to follow it's instincts. But yes he cannot disobey me. I created him. He is a loyal servant and he will never betray me. I'm certain all of us would be quite fortunate to have such a worthy companion."

He mused as his eyes continued deeply studying Seth's expression and demeanor. He looked strong and sturdier than Maurus. He'd probably look really nice in some of those hand and foot restraints in his basement with his a** up and blushing red from a good spanking from him or a piece of leather. Too bad he couldn't get a good view of that rear from here. When he saw such a strong, proud, lovely and rowdy creature like Seth he couldn't help wanting to push it down and make it bend to him. It was too fun.

The shiver he saw pass through the vampire at his description of the hunt sent a hidden thrill through the sadist and he absently wet his lips again slightly. Did the vampire realize how much he was tempting him now? He was looking really tasty. Sebastian had good taste in men and this one was far from tamed. The warlock soon intervened with their talk to make his own flippant remark that made his smile widen as it seemed almost desperate to wedge firmly and cease their conversation from progressing further.

To Seishiro that suggested that Sebastian didn't have the confidence to keep Seth in his court and it amused him a lot. The warlock even went so far as to inadvertently threaten to try to devour Bao..ha, did this man really know what he was getting himself into? As if Bao would ever spread his legs for this arrogant creature just because he showed him special interest. Bao wasn't that kind of boy. Seishiro was still training him but he was already plenty confident Bao was binded enough to him to not stray and if Sebastian tried to violate him he'd only make himself look bad and get himself in trouble also.

Seth blurted out an answer that accurately mirrored the one Seishiro was about to state and it made another low laugh rumble from his throat and he glanced at Sebastian and then back at the vampire.

"Well said, Stone is it? Or may I call you John?..."

Seishiro was well aware that this wasn't Seth's real name. Oh no, he knew who Seth was, and that he'd been one of the many unfortunate men Kiken had captured and played with in his labratory. Was Sebastian aware of it?The changes happening in Seth's body? The mutation was spreading and it would slowly alter Seth's DNA and body over-time. The change in the body wouldn't be permenant and could always revert back to Seth's original form and eventually he could learn to control the change but by then..would Kiken reclaim him for his own uses?

He couldn't say. Not even he could predict his Niissan's movements or plans unless they were told to him. His attention went back to Sebastian when he was suddenly invading his space and a dangerous warning gleamed across his eye towards the warlock that demanded he mind his distance. He wouldn't let the blond be so friendly and casual with any part of him. His pride wouldn't permit him to step away though. That would insinuate that he was intimidated and was backng down and he was not.

He stood firmly and calmly only giving that scary glance that would chill a person's heart. The cold eye(s) of a ruthless killer with no conscience or care for the victim it chose. "Never underestimate your prey. Size and demeanor can easily fool one into overconfidence about their methods. Often it's the most unsuspecting of individuals that can surprise you and make you regret disturbing their peace. One should not assume that anyone would gladly bend to their will just because their attacker is hungry.."

Seishiro pointed out smoothly without any visible concern about those suggestive threats. He had full confidence in Bao and the situation. Unlike Sebastian whom didn't seem to have control or full claim over Seth if he was concerned enough to threaten him like this for approaching the vampire. He would socialize with Seth when he pleased and if he decided to pounce on him than so be it. Sebastian couldn't stop that but he could try.

          "Please do so."

Seishiro smiled at him again in that irritatingly smug and confident manner that easily annoyed most men as it always seemed to signal how he felt he had the upper-hand and that his opponent was a fool for even trying to challenge him. He didn't think Sebastian was a fool but he also didn't think he was any threat either. Not to him and not to his plans for Bao. Bao was his until he decided otherwise. Speaking of the boy, he approached his form and watched William tend appropriately to his wounds. That coldness was gone now and his smile was inviting and gentle towards Bao as he stood there offering to take him home.

The correction didn't sway his confidence and he just pushed his glasses up his nose as William healed those bruises. "Then to your home wherever it may be. You need to rest and prepare yourself for that training sessions as well as your session with Luther-san. You're quite fortunate the Administrators demonstrated such leienecy and I know you shall take their advice to heart and cooperate with the expectations placed upon you. I have no doubts the lesson you will learn from this and that you will improve from it."

Seishiro spoke honestly in a warmer soothing tone that melted across that handsome decieving face as he approached closer once William had finished healing Bao. He slowly knelt down beside him so he was closer to him and he rested a gentle hand on the teenager's hair and ruffled it in a friendly manner. "You're a good boy, Bao. I know that and so do the others here. Please continue to work hard for your sake as well as those here."

He encouraged kindly and then pulled his hand back just in case William had anymore wounds to heal on Bao. His eyes looked over his shoulder at Marculus and Xian Li a moment. Related were they? He could see it now and he wondered why two blood relatives would want to harm one another so badly? It wasn't really any of his business but it could be consequential later on. Perhaps he should also learn more about this Xian Li...

(The Shikigami is not always visible. It appears when Seishiro summons it and stays there until I write that it has disappeared. cool )

Sebastian was well aware that Seishiro was much more established here in this Academy and the little cape of lies he had covered himself with made every unknowing person respect him and even blindly believe in him. Furthermore menacing such pesky things like rumours had the sole purpose of dissuade a person and the warlock was sure that Seishiro would hardly be dissuaded by such trivial matters.
Sebastian barely knew this man but the more he talked the more resemblances he could find to the man’s brother.
Quite frankly it irritated him slightly since he actually respected the Doctor and yet this man that was so identical seemed so annoying using his brother’s precision of words yet with his own manner and now even dared questioning Sebastian’s status as a teacher. It was true that Sebastian’s main goal at the Academy was far from what it would be ‘acceptable’ but he had accepted the job as a teacher and he would commit himself to it like he did with any job regardless of his hobbies.
It seemed that Seishiro didn’t understand that the more fascination and curiosity was aroused within the warlock about a certain student the more he wanted to teach them and bring them to their best. There was nothing more exciting than seeing a wonderful demonstration of power allied with a perfect execution and control. But of course he wouldn’t understand nor believe such things about the warlock because Sebastian never seemed ecstatic about teaching and in fact most times he even seemed rather annoyed however that seemed to change completely when he actually found someone ‘worthy’ of his real teachings. And the funniest thing was that no one did even suspect that he actually wanted to make his students surpass anyone –even him- and hardly would anyone comprehend why someone would want that.

His mind suddenly shifted away from the thoughts about to be formed as if they had been deleted temporarily to avoid any curious ‘ear’ that might be listening without their knowledge. No paranoia was excessive while in this Academy.
The warlock suddenly felt old as these thoughts crossed his mind and he almost wanted to laugh at how odd they would seem to anyone who thought they knew him.
Some people liked to create beings; he liked to shape existent ones.
Sebastian focused on Seishiro’s words, it initially seemed like they were meant to tell the truth rather than smite him and thus he could see a point to them. It was the man’s right to doubt his capabilities even though it annoyed him but he wouldn’t do anything based on proving anything to this man.
His commitment was to his students and not to this man. However Sebastian wondered why exactly Seishiro thought so lowly of him as a teacher when his record had been so impeccable – with the sole exception being the recent events but he would make sure that such incident would not occur again.
Even though Seishiro excused himself with talks about attitude and motivation and Sebastian couldn’t avoid wondering if the protests weren’t in fact linked to the man’s knowledge of one of Sebastian’s other businesses.
It seemed that at some point this conversation had actually started to bore Sebastian for the simple fact that Seishiro had now stopped making constructive criticisms and was demeaning him by making unfounded accusations with the sole purpose of poking fun of the warlock.
Finally as the teacher paused briefly Sebastian answered in a much more serious tone.

“I believe my attitude led you into thinking I’m not devoted to my students and that saddens me but I realise it is my responsibility that you think in such ways. However despite my attitude I am motivated into giving them the best teaching possible. I admit that I rather spend my time being fascinated by a student and actually improving him to the fullest extend than being concerned about conventional limits such as potential. I believe that such limits can only hinder the progress and that aiming to go higher than that is much more productive if of course it’s kept within healthy boundaries that do not endanger the student physically or psychologically.” The warlock started calmly slowly revealing himself not to be as carefree as he always appeared to be.
For better or for worst teaching had also become a job for him and as such even though he wasn’t the kind of person to display concern or thought so openly he truly had mused about several matters and such was reflected upon his words and posture that were so suddenly different from his usually whimsical self.
He was now –and finally- talking to Seishiro without any deceptions or twists of words, he wasn’t smiling nor faking and was simply stating what he believed like any man would do without any roundabout words or flourishing.
“After all potential can only be determined to a certain extent and from there it’s also up to the person itself to rise above that potential. I am indeed selfish but even more than that I’m greedy as I don’t expect him to reach his potential but rather I hope he surpasses it and as a teacher I will obviously lead him while doing so, carefully monitor him and of course while keeping it within the healthy boundaries that can increase and stimulate that growth to the utmost. I won’t however push those expectations into my students forcefully because I want them to acquire them by themselves.”
The uneven eyes gazed into the seeing eye almost as if warning that Seishiro might not be happy about the words that would follow but that they were being said only for the purpose of ensuring Bao the best environment possible.
“Teaching is my job as it is also my job to make sure he learns everything I have to offer and perhaps even more however I can only do so much if the student also commits himself into learning. Now, I truly don’t think that you intended on interfering with Bao’s learning however I hope you realise that whatever influence you have over this boy might already be interfering, I can only hope that you make sure it’s a positive interference rather than a negative one. And I expect nothing less than your show of disapproval if you see that those expectations aren’t being met. But I do ask that you give your approval for the time being and even encourage Bao into his training –not only with me but even small basic training by himself.”
The warlock paused a little while his eyes strayed upwards as the final member of the assembly vanished into the atmosphere then leisurely they directed back to the man and his words though a little criticizing weren’t meant to annoy.
“Also I ask of you to consider that perhaps your judgement is being too rushed and to properly gather enough data to form a conclusion based on my overall performance rather than on the perception you have of my character. I suspect that you’ve reached to such conclusions also based on other actions but I want to remind you that –if I’m correct- your own personal tastes rarely interfere with your teachings and I assure that such is the case for me also.”
Sebastian vaguely referred without letting much to be known to the rest of the listeners.
He didn’t need that many ‘victims’ to sustain his lifestyle and even so most of his targets were more experienced prey, therefore it would be very uncharacteristic of him to simply take a student that had no control over his powers not to mention that regarding this issue he didn’t appreciate taking much risks and usually a student suddenly vanishing would rise many suspicions. No, he would much rather calmly wait until the Academy decided they were ready to graduate and then make it seem like the former-student had ran away once finding the Academy’s true plans. After all Sebastian had all the time in the world and though he was generally an intense guy, he was rather patient when it came to picking his targets and obtaining them. So for the current time he really was just training Bao and maybe even after he wouldn’t pursue a prey that would put him in direct conflict with the people he did business with.
Sebastian smiled at the retribution of the cheeriness as if agreeing even though he recognised that sarcasm. However it seemed so strange having that hidden bitterness being directed towards him from a man that resembled the Doctor so much. Usually that kind of reaction when it was made by the Doctor wasn’t intended for the warlock and perhaps that was the reason he was a little surprised to see this display even though he had been enticing it. He knew Seishiro wasn’t a big fan of his own older brother but even so they could at times seem so similar. Perhaps that’s exactly why their personalities clashed. These thoughts reminded him of the urgent matter he had to discuss with the Doctor and his eyes glanced at Seth for a moment almost hoping his suspicions confirmed to be erroneous.
Ah- his thoughts were interrupted as Seishiro launched the bait to Seth- as expected from that man’s brother Seishiro had easily realised the weakness in the warlock’s wall. Sebastian’s eyes strayed again towards the shivering vampire though this time lingering on him.
The vampire even agreed with the teacher, not realising how much he had suddenly become a prey to this man that was now so easily seducing him with his words. How incredibly irritating.
Was Seth too blind to not even see just how much this man lusted to tame him, to break him until he even his pride was stripped away and until he was nothing more than the whores he so much hated?
Had Sebastian been wrong in wanting to preserve that beautiful wilderness about the vampire? Had Sebastian been wrong in thinking that Seth could remain so untamed and yet still be hi- wait… Was that… what he wanted? Did he want Seth to be his? Why-

Seishiro’s smile and even the way he spoke made a low grumbling began to form in the warlock’s throat suddenly forgetting all those thoughts. At first it seemed a growl but as it became slightly louder a prolonged chuckle was unveiled.
Ah- he hadn’t experienced this feeling in a long time. He wanted to snap Seishiro like a twig. He knew he wouldn’t and yet this feeling felt so exhilarating that it made him thrilled.
And how ironic – It seemed Seishiro didn’t even follow his own advices. That smile showed just how much he was underestimating Sebastian, because apparently he believed to have the upper-hand and more than anything just how much faith he had in his little loyal lamb was laughable.
Had it never occurred to him that such an innocent little boy could be tricked by the warlock and not even notice it? It was not overconfidence, it was the facts, Bao was still naive. And Sebastian could thoroughly have fun with all that youthful naivety and make sure Bao enjoyed every single part of the despicable trick, give him the pleasure to be enthralled for a lifetime, an ecstasy that would intoxicate the boy and shatter all that innocence. And the most entertaining would be to see the boy so happily hop around unknowingly that the real Seishiro hadn’t been the one to give him such a wonderful time. Such a low trick and yet such a fun one, would Seishiro even accept his toy back after it had been already broken by the warlock? Would Seishiro be angered that his brand new present had been unwrapped by someone else?
Sebastian had the means to do so and yet he did lack the will. Not to mention that besides the fact that he really didn’t felt any enthusiasm about doing such thing Bao it would be stupid since his previous speech would be meaningless if he did such a deliciously cruel thing to the student. Bao was not his target and if Seth really wished to be as ignorant as to willingly fall into that man’s claws then there really was nothing that Sebastian could do - that was the reason Seishiro was so smug and the reason that despite being so terribly amused Sebastian still felt a faint imperceptible urge to rip the man into shreds.

“Oh, no one? And I would think that you would disagree…” Sebastian almost chuckled towards Seishiro. The man was suddenly saying that such a small prey would come of no interest and yet… wasn’t that a contradiction to his actions? Perhaps he was a little confused. Sebastian was the one who didn’t actually want to play with Bao and yet that seemed to have slipped off of the man’s head.
Sebastian looked at Seth a little admired about the sudden animosity.

Ah, well, didn’t matter anymore this conversation was more turning into a pesky fight than anything else and soon they parted and Sebastian made that question expecting to give an answer that he couldn’t quite form.
Such a strange abnormality in the vampire, it surely wasn’t a coincidence…God, if he was right and Seth was one of Kiken’s little experiments, how would he be able to explain to Seth just how much he should stay away from Seishiro? He couldn’t tell Seth something the vampire didn’t remember, the sheer trauma it could- Seth was strong but no one should have to remind something horrible. Something that the warlock had truthfully enjoyed watching or hearing about before realising that Seth had been a victim. Sebastian couldn’t lie to himself, he knew his twisted mind understood and enjoyed having someone like the Doctor with such a peculiar hobby to share his darker side with and yet now he felt somewhat disgusted by it all whenever he imagined Seth being held captive and toyed with by the scientist.
Sebastian had never felt this way before seeing Seth’s wings why had it changed now? The thought of Kiken playing with the vampire made him feel so… strange. But he couldn’t hate the Doctor, the Doctor had helped him when Lucius appeared in this world and he was a man Sebastian knew for a long time now even if most of their conversations were business related…

They had walked quite a distance by now and were far from the flock. But still how could he say it without sounding like it was just his pride wanting to keep the vampire away from another man?
Sebastian abruptly stopped probably making Seth collide into his back before he turned around. The mismatched eyes bored an the same seriousness as they had before but with a strange intensity that pierced into the dark eyes and perhaps even a faint frown was drawn on his features that couldn’t be really be told if it came from some strange anger or from an unknown concern.
“That man is dangerous. Please stay away from him.”
Sebastian knew that Seth would most likely protest something like it was ‘none of his business who he spend time with’ but the warlock still hoped that at least a little of those sentences would sink into the stubborn vampire enough to keep him away, or maybe the uncommon look on Sebastian’s face would be enough to convey whatever it was that made him blur that out even though he shouldn’t even care what Seth did or didn’t do. What exactly had it been his motivation for sticking up to Seth? And now for trying to protect him from Seishiro… and even from… the Doctor?...
He had to be insane. It would be the only explanation. Why else would he do such things for anyone?

-Seth Luther-

He was getting bored with the argument between these two and didn't really find the debate worth his time paying attention to. It just seemed like a c**k-fight between two male egos. Each male was determined to prove himself the 'right one' and yet there really was no right answer or side to the argument.

Seishiro doubted Sebastian's ability to properly train and attend to Bao and Sebastian was certain he could handle it. There was also some unspoken threats tossed in there that slightly annoyed Seth. Was Sebastian suggesting what Seth suspected he was? He'd ******** around with that brat just to spite Seishiro? Why?Did he think Seth was such a moron that he didn't realize the way Seishiro was talking and looking at him?

He was a man too and he knew that look but he wasn't worried about it. He could handle himself and he could easily reject Seishiro if he tried to make any moves on him. He wasn't some weak-willed b***h who'd get a**-raped although Seishiro seemed like he'd be a tough opponent.

Seth crossed his arms over his chest at Seishiro's answer about the bird. He glanced at it and then back at the smirking devil."I've got something similar. Loyalty is important. Lots of people have issues with it." He found his gaze glaring at Sebastian in an accusing manner that showed how little the vampire still trusted the warlock. A part of him wanted to but the logical side of him kept telling him to try to keep a safe distance or else he'd regret it.

"A companion like that can always be depended on." He remarked a little softer as he thought of Kace and his gang. He knew Kace and Sword would never betray him. They'd always been there for him and had proved they were worthy of his trust. Sebastian had yet to but he still found himself getting caught up in the warlock and entrusting him with things much more quickly than he would with any other man. It worried him a lot and a trace of that worry lingered briefly in his black eyes and they closed quickly to hide it and regain his composure.

He got it back for a moment before the talk of hunting got him a little worked up. It was something he really liked and Seishiro obviously liked it too but his 'game' was probably different than Seth's and for different reasons. Seishiro seemed like a strong and fierce predator himself with the way that penetrating gaze bore right through him. Sebastian had that intense stare too and at moments he felt like that glare from the warlock alone started to get his body hot. The laugh made him blink once and he thought a moment about the question regarding his name.

He wasn't Japanese and so he wasn't raised to be bothered by too easily by how people addressed him and since Seishiro was a work colleague he didn't see anything wrong with the guy using his first name. It wasn't his real name after all. "John is fine. Just John though, you try to come up with some annoying nickname and you'll be sorry."

He warned him in a grumble and moved black strands from his face and listened to the additional remark directed towards Sebastian. These two really seemed to have an issue with one another. Whatever. It wasn't his problem. They could duke it out however they wanted. Seth wanted to get out of the sun.

"Right, see ya."

Seth said casually with a flick of his wrist and followed after Sebastian to see what it is the guy had to talk to him about that was so damned important. It better be quick. He had to get back to his class-room and he didn't have his sunglasses anymore so the sun was blinding him. He must have broken or lost them somewhere in between Sebastian's kidnapping of him in the classroom.

"#%@!" Random curses spewed out as Sebastian's unexpected stop made him collide right into the warlock's back. He growled in irritation and was about to snap something in the warlock's face but hesitated as those piercing eyes met him with an even more fierce intensity than usual. It made him stay quiet for a moment as he stared back before he shook it off and glared in annoyance at the warning.

"What the hell?Do you think I'm a moron or something? I can tell when a person is dangerous but I'm not a ******** pansy who's gonna avoid him just because of it! We work together goddammit and we'll have to be around one another whether we like it or not. I can handle him. I'm not a damned pansy b***h who's gonna get cornered in a closet and 'taken advantage of'."

Seth hissed in annoyance and offense and shoved his hands in his pockets and turned from Sebastian. "Christ, don't tell me how to live my life. I'll hang around who I want! You think he's the only man who's looked at me like that? I can handle him!Get over yourself." His fangs bared a little and then he brought his hand up to cover his eyes slightly from the sun, "Now is that all you had to say to me or can I go?"

(I know we are waiting on Bao post but I really felt like responding right away because I was in a Seth mood.)

Marculus had wrongly assumed Xian Li knew whom he was referring to. He had to remind himself that the human had just arrived here and didn't know yet of Sky or his brother. They were pretty popular around here and almost everybody knew of them. He did think though that Xian Li would recall the blue-haired angel and just connect the dots from there but Xian Li had been out of it when Sky had come along. Perhaps he didn't remember?

"He healed you. If it weren't for him you might be dead now so I'll be sure to find him again so you can thank him properly."

He pointed out stubbornly. Proper thanks should be in order regardless of a man's pride especially over something so crucial as..well, saving your life. Marculus hoped Xian Li had enough decency somewhere at least to show gratitude towards the angel. Marculus knew he was quite grateful Sky had been there or else Xian Li may have..

The vampire didn't realize his own embarrassment flourishing across his face upon admitting his concern over Xian Li and by the time he was aware of it it didn't really seem to matter. Anyone could clearly see it though instead of being amused like Marculus might have expected, Xian Li seemed confused by his reactions. Marculus didn't understand his responses himself either.

Thankfully the human didn't say anything about it and allowed the vampire a moment to regain himself and focus on the question Xian Li had posed. Marculus really could not piece together what he was referring to and it did not shock him that Xian Li refused to elaborate. He hated that. Xian Li seemed to do that a lot and it bugged him. "It's not nothing, tell me what you're referring to! You want me to answer don't you? I'll give you an answer if be more specific!"

Marculus insisted stubbornly and gripped at Xian Li's arm, not painfully but tightly to urge him to speak. He wanted to know what Xian Li meant. It'd bother him if he didn't tell him! He was surprised that Xian Li didn't give an protest to going to the infirmary. Well that would save him the trouble of having to drag him at least. He was glad for it.

"Good, lets go then." He secured a firm but gentle arm around Xian Li and began assisting in hoisting him to a stand. He gladly ignored the students staring at them as he guided Xian Li's arm to wrap around his shoulders and neck and lean against him for support if he was still too drained or tired to walk decently. He'd probably be a bit dizzy at least from the blood-loss. "I'm assuming they'll excuse you for your next few classes." He said as he started to lead Xian li towards the building and on their way to the infirmary.

((seth, it's not like seth's gonna respond to anything bao does anyway. it's fine. ))

Bao watched William, his body tense as the counselor's hands reached for his neck. It took a lot of his regained control not to jerk away, and for a while he didn't notice his nails digging into his palms. Never a pleasant experiance, and no matter how gentle William was being, it still hurt when the man's fingers brushed against his buises. Bao hid the wince as best he could- he'd been through worse pain, obviously. Bruises he was used to, but his neck had always been sensitive. Soon, however, the aching pain began to fade. Bao relaxed, the healing warmth spreading through him and lulling him into an induced calm. It was, however, vaguely reminiscent of the emotion supressant Alarc had used on him, and he was glad when it was over. Bao lifted his own hands to his neck as William pushed away. The mark Seishiro had given him was gone, healed along with the bruises Xian Li had inflicted. He couldn't help but show a bit of disappointment, and he ducked his head to hide behind a veil of gray hair.

"No, thank you. I'm fine."

His head shot up as William continued, and again he used a great amount of control not to glance at Seishiro. What could he do? He wanted to leave his time open for Seishiro, but it would be suspicious if he protested without a real reason.

"Um... I was going to study..." His voice trailed off as he realized how weak that sounded. Studying wasn't a time obligation, and meeting William was important. He didn't want to atttract anymore attention from the Administrators than need be. "..but I can do that later..."

Bao jumped as he realized Seishiro was facing him again. The man didn't seem surprised at all that Bao was living off campus, and the boy briefly wondered if a lot of students did that. He nodded silently, accepting Seishiro's offer. Mizuhara would probably home as she didn't work during the day, but Seishiro would probably hurry back to the school in time for class anyway. A moment's guilt- Bao wondered if maybe he should just walk home alone. He didn't want to keep Seishiro from his work. A more hidden side of him was also dreading the private drive with Seishiro. The man was smiling now, but perhaps that was also just for show? Was Seishiro angry at Bao? Disappointed? Bao didn't want to know; he could live with this fake smile. Still, he stayed silent. More and more he was beginning to realize he would have to face Seishiro eventually. This time at least, running from the problem would only delay the pain- if not make it worse. If he prepared for it, Bao could handle himself decently. It was quite possibly his best solution.

He could clearly hear the unsaid warning in Seishiro's words- do this again, and things won't turn out so well. Bao knew that already, though. He'd never been given second chances- mess up twice, and that was it. Moreover, he wouldn't give himself a second chance. He wouldn't fail himself again. No, Bao would focus now. He would train hard and study hard. Not even Xian Li's abuse would detract him.

He blinked as Seishiro knelt closer, eyes widening at the familiar hand ruffling his hair. What was this? Seishiro didn't seem angry at all... and he was even... praising him? Confusion, shock- Bao tried to answer, but he was too amazed to form a coherent sentence. Even Seishiro had never been this intimate, and weren't there still people watching?

"A-ah....."

His eyes followed Seishiro's to glance towards Xian Li, and what he saw finally brought the shock it should have before. Shock- and anger. Bao had never been good at naming relationships, nor was he used to seeing them, but this... Even he could tell there was something between his cousin and the red-haired boy. What was this? What the hell was this?? So Bao wasn't allowed to care about anyone, but Xian Li could find someone on his first day? Wasn't he the one who separated Bao from his family? Wasn't he the one to push Mei Lai off the ******** cliff? Bao couldn't forgive it, and he tried to hide his anger from Seishiro, but the man was still kneeling close and Bao wasn't good at masking his emotions.

Marculus would be wise to watch his back. Even if Xian Li only cared a little bit about the vampire, Marculus was now the perfect target.

Bao would get his revenge- and now, he had a step 1.

~Storm~

"I'm not thanking him," he muttered, although his voice didn't have the arrogant fire it usually did. On contrary, Xian Li sounded a bit wearied, his voice soft so probably only Marculus would hear. He was not, however, any less stubborn. Just because his defenses were dropped for Marculus didn't mean they would be for anyone else. If Marculus pushed too hard, his spiky armor would once again slip between them, and Marculus's efforts would go to waste. For now, at least, Xian Li didn't want to think about anyone else. His thoughts were centered around Marculus and the blush now staining his cheeks. Finally, he blurted out the question that bothered him so much.

Why had he suddenly asked that? But now it was too late. Marculus wouldn't drop the subject until he either told him or stalked away. But... he had promised himself to get the truth, and the question still burned at him. For once he would ignore his stubborn embarrassment and forgo his pride. He looked down, squinting at the hand on his arm. It seemed Marculus really did know him already, and had stopped any possible escape. Did he really want to know so badly? Trying to form the right words in his mind, Xian Li raised his fingers to ghost across Marculus' hand.

"In the hallway... you said you never lied.. and that you'd prove it... Did you mean it?"

His voice was hesitant as he spoke, and he still refused to look up. He could fight the blush, at least- a small consolation to his dignity- and he had somehow avoided sounding weak and pathetic. If he hadn't managed that, Xian Li probably would have given up- gathered his usual bravado and left. This was stupid, all this confusion and hesitation. This wasn't him. What had Marculus done to him?

Xian Li was about to protest- he could stand just fine on his own, thank you very much- but as Marculus pulled him up, a wave of dizziness coursed through him. Well.. this was unpleasantly familiar. Hadn't they played this game only just last night? But still... this time felt different. Marculus wasn't some random a*****e anymore.

Blinking against the black the seeped into his vision, Xian Li let Marculus support most of his weight. It felt strange, depending on someone so much. Yet... surprisingly comfortable. He would have thought he'd hate it, but it wasn't so bad. If it was Marculus, he supposed, then it was okay. Xian Li shrugged as best he could, eyes gauging the distance to the school. If he were the people in charge, he wouldn't be so sappy. Xian Li had already rested for a while, but he was up now; he was useless wasting time in bed. This school had already surprised him, though. It was radically different than what he was used to in China. Was he glad to be here? Yesterday he would have said no, and probably punched the guy who asked for better effect. But now..

Now he thought maybe it wasn't so bad, being in Japan.

Seishiro Sakurazuka

If he'd known Sebastian was so busily comparing him to his brother, Seishiro may have felt slightly annoyed. He didn't like being compared to that annoying b*****d but unfortunately their genes formed in a way that many of the males in their blood-line looked relatively similar. Kei had an even more striking similarity in appearance to Kiken than Seishiro.

Kei and Kiken could almost be mistaken for twins unless you lined them up beside one another and could see the subtle differences in their demeanor, height, age and hair styles. Iurian hadn't inherited any of the typical physical traits of men in their family. He obviously got most of his more fragile seeming-beauty from his mother whom Seishiro had never met. He'd been introduced to Iurian after the woman had abandoned them when he was just a very young and adorable boy.

Perhaps it was because he knew Sebastian did business with his brother that Seishiro wasn't concerned about the warlock retaliating too much. Although he very much disliked relying on anything from his brother at all however Kiken was much older than him and had advantages in means Seishiro did not. His human side was well-hidden from others but it still managed to hinder him in small ways that could be irritating. Only he really noticed them.

It may be also that Sebastian did do business with his brother that Seishiro was less inclined to approve of him in any-way. He didn't understand how anyone would want to be entangled with that insufferable man. Seishiro didn't have much of a choice and even if Kiken and him ever did get into any sort of conflict he would think nothing of destroying his brother. He'd feel nothing. He disgusted him. His advances in science didn't impress him and Kiken had even offered to fix his eye but Seishiro refused.

He didn't want Kiken to 'own' any part of him and besides..that eye was a precious memory and reminder of him protecting the person he cared for the most. He carried that scar proudly without any shame at all. His head tilted slightly at the response he received an closely observed how Sebastian handled himself and his constructive criticism.

"It would give most people that impression. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the only one whom thought such yet Renu appears to believe in you enough to entrust Bao into your care. But I'm not a person whom can trust another is sufficient just because my superior decides it. I'll decide for myself and I have not observed any of your methods personally though much can be derived simply by conversing with a teacher and not having to take the time to observe them in action."

Seishiro mused thoughtfully with a gesture of his hand,"Well I should hope so, otherwise, what other reason could you have for becoming a teacher?" There seemed to be suggestive innuendo hidden in that sentence as though he clearly suspected and knew of Sebastian's real intentions here. He knew he sold bodies for profit and that made him all the more suspicious of his claims of devotion and earnest concern about his students success.

It also was another reason he disliked the thought of Sebastian training Bao. Depending on how long he wanted to use Bao, he surely couldn't have the warlock prepping him to be shipped off somewhere for his own profit. He didn't believe Sebastian's words but he was mistrustful by nature and perhaps were the warlock more of a stranger Seishirio would be less incriminating. Though a part of him was enjoying this as well as using it to decide whether Sebastian could be successful with Bao in the ways he would approve of. He knew Santiago better than he knew Sebastian or at least, he knew his methods and that he was a sincere teacher that honestly did care for students and bringing them to their best potential.

He could continue debating Sebastian's opinion about the most appropriate way to lead a student but he was beginning to see that it would be a waste of time. Like himself and his brother, Sebastian was a stubborn mule set in his own ways and wouldn't change much no matter what he stated. And they were wasting time. Renu had ordered Sebastian to do it and so it would go that way unless Sebastian did fail and Bao did not improve.

"I suppose I'll just have to put my faith in you like Renu and see what becomes of it. It is in everyone's best interest that you are successful in your ways, Sebastian-sensei." His mouth pulled still in that irritating smile yet it ebbed ever so slightly in the remarks Sebastian made towards him next.

His gaze narrowed coldly behind his glasses, "Influence? And what sort of influence might that be?I have only encouraged this boy to do his best as I do all my students. Are you suggesting that my obvious disapproval about the Admistrator's selection in a tutor will prevent him from moving forward? My, you certainly think the most of yourself. Let me make one thing clear.." He reached up to remove his glasses a moment to clean them but also give Sebastian a sharper and direct glare, "You aren't the only man capable of guiding him. You just got lucky. Consider this your chance to prove that you are as good as you seem to believe yourself to be. Who knows..depending on the results, you may even sway my opinion of you also."

He cleaned his glasses of delicately and placed them back on his nose, "I won't give my aproval easily to anyone. Show me why I should and then you may have it, Sebastian-san." His lips quirked again slightly as his gaze burned back in challenge towards the warlock. They silently provoked Sebastian to really prove to him that he could accomplish this. Though he didn't expect Sebastian was so concerned about his approval yet it'd be amusing to see how he responded to the challenge."I shall change my judgement if I think it's merited. It's up to you to change it."

That flash of annoyance gleamed in his seeing eye at the last stabbing remark about his personal tastes. How dare he bring up such a random tangent that had nothing to do with their discussion to try to cause a stir. Seishiro maintained his calm though and cooly brushed bangs from his brow, "Rarely? My personal life has never caused any issues with my work. If you did your own research properly you'd know the status of my record here."

Which was impeccable. Seishiro was careful in his games and had never jeprodized his job with his fun."Although if you had done research on me, I'm uncertain whether I should be insulted or..flattered?" He said in a mild joke and a casual shrug that made some lingering students nearby chuckle a little at Seishiro's usual playful and mocking demeanor. His attention then contently shifted to the tempting vampire beside Sebastian. Although they obviously had slept together, Seishiro could see there wasn't trust and that would make it quite easy for him to swoop in and snatch Seth if he cared to do so.

Sebastian knew it too and that probably bothered the warlock the most out of anything. Seth was a wild stallion that could gallop into anyone's pastors if he pleased. Nobody controlled him and that intriuged him all the more. A free lively spirit was exciting and a challenge. Seishiro rather enjoyed challenges and Seth would be quite the conquest. He had a feeling it hadn't been so easy for Sebastian to pin him down and Seth wasn't even entirely pinned. The way the vampire independently answered Seishiro without any care for Sebastian's feelings or presence heavily suggested the state in which his 'relationship' with Sebastian happened to be. How interesting.

"Do you now?Somehow I have a feeling that your servant isn't a spirit like mine." He remarked in a friendly and pleasant tone that was meant to draw Seth in further and perhaps create an illusion of trust. This casual conversation intentionally continued on such a light and easy note so to make the vampire comfortable in his presence. Perhaps it'd even paint the pleasant possibilities of a friendship that Seishiro may someday decide to take advantage of and pounce on Seth.

He'd used similiar methods on Bao except he'd been a lot less patient with such a responsive and ripe virgin practically pleading to be claimed by him. Bao's naive nature and inexperience had allowed him to close in on him quickly. Someone like Seth would know better and wouldn't give in easily. Would Seishiro even go that far or would he just keep dangling that possibility in front of Sebastian to entertain himself?

Seishiro politely withheld a chuckle at the way Seth glared back at Sebastian at his talk of loyality and politely lifted his fingers to his own lips to keep it down and cleared his throat once. "Indeed. Though you don't seem the sort of man that would need to depend on anyone in order to survive. A real man doesn't need anyone but himself yet having reliable company is one of life's pleasantries that we should enjoy, hm?" He absently crossed his arms over his chest and continued to extrude confidence about this situation. He wasn't concerned about Sebastian's threat. He didn't even think Sebastian really wanted to even carry through with it. Why would he stray towards Bao just to spite him when he had such a lovely creature right near him? He doubted Sebastian disliked him THAT much.

Seishiro hadn't done anything personal enough to merit such bitterness though certainly irritaiton was warrented and he enjoyed it. The main difference between Sebastian and himself in this situation was that if he decided to bed Seth, it wouldn't be to hurt Sebastian it would be because he WANTED to. That was not the case for Sebastian with Bao. He seemed pleased when Seth agreed to allow him to use his first name, "John it is then." The adorable threat that growled from those teeth enticed another small laugh from him but he nodded to show that he understood it. "And you may call me Seishiro if you please. I leave it up to you."

He arched a brow at Sebastian's answer to him, it didn't really seem to relate to what he'd said and so he just dismissed it and gave his farewell to the two before focusing all his attentions upon Bao.Seishiro withheld some amusement at Bao's reluctance to offer up his time to have a session with William but he hoped the boy knew that not going was not an option. An incident like this demanded him to see the counselor now whether he wanted it or not. It was William's job to focus on the troubled students and Bao was quite troubled in many ways. Whether Seishiro would really concern himself in finding out the reason behind those troubles had yet to be determined.

Seishiro blinked at the way Bao jumped but didn't remark on it and just smiled at the boy. It wasn't unusual for students to live off campus. Some could not afford it or simply preferred to live with their families. He was rather glad Bao didn't have any family in this area as it would make it easier for him to monopolize his time whenever he pleased and he doubted he'd have any issues charming this woman into allowing him to invite Bao out for 'school related' events. (Those events being private 'sessions' in his home or wherever else he desired to take Bao.)

If there were not still many eyes upon them he surely would have done more to comfort the teenager than a rub on the head but he couldn't risk them being exposed. He was always careful but he could see how much even this gesture seemed to strike Bao and his expression almost made him laugh a little. It was too cute. He'd really baffled the boy with his behavior though he intended to explain in private so to eliminate any confusions Bao had about them. Bao's demeanor began to alter as they focused their eyes on Xian Li and Seishiro glanced at Bao again to observe his reaction. He really did hate this boy a lot but why? Should he even care?

Well, he would if it hindered their fun-time although unfortunately for Bao Seishiro could enjoy his suffering just as much as his happiness. Often he preferred seeing that suffering over a smile. Bao had a very lovely crying expression and he was tempted to bring it out further himself and torment the boy but that would drive him away too quickly and he didn't intend for that.

          "Make us all proud."

He smiled and then reached his hand out for Bao to take to help him stand up now that William had attended to his injuries. Seishiro gave a gracious nod to the Priest for his efforts. It was good of him because Seishiro could not heal others and it would bother him to see another's mark on his property. Although William had also healed his mark as well. No matter. He could easily leave anotherr one later..

"Well if you have no other business with him Counselor, I think I should be taking him home, hm? "

His hand kept a tight hold on Bao's and upon William's permission, he would begin to lead Bao towards the gates..

Marculus pursed his lips with obvious disapproval of Xian Li's ungrateful attitude towards the angel. At least Sky wasn't here or he'd be more annoyed about it but he'd let it slide for now. Xian Li was still recovering and that made him inclined to be a bit nicer to the human. There was also the fact that Xian Li's near brush with death still lingered heavily in his mind and made him unable to get too angry at this moment. He was glad this a*****e was alive and he didn't even really understand why still or why he'd decided to devote himself to protecting the human.

"You really are terrible at showing any form of gratitude at all. Is your pride worth more than your own life?"

He uttered and sighed a bit but didn't say anything more than that about it. He didn't want to start a fight and it'd be difficult for him to do so when he was experiencing this annoying embarrassment. Though it'd been a while since he'd shown such honest concern for anyone else and it made him bashful yet his stubborn will didn't fade as it demanded Xian Li to elaborate on that strange question. He couldn't think of what XIan Li meant and it was driving him crazy! The brush of those warm fingers startled Marculus and his frame involuntarily tensed in it's surprise against the human.

It wasn't an unpleasant feeling though. It's effect was quite shameful towards the vampire and his eyes wandered down to look at that hand a moment and he could feel his face heating up against his will again.

Goddammit, why did he keep feeling embarrassed?? Marculus smacked himself mentally and blinked at the question that Xian Li finally got out, "Huh?Of course I meant it!I'm always honest about everything though most people don't approve of it and it's gotten me into trouble I could avoid but.. I hate liars..I think it's better to be blunt and truthful about things than sugar-coat them into something they aren't.."

Marculus told him firmly and hesitated as it seemed like Xian Li was also a little..embarrassed? No, it was his imagination and he thought it was better not to say anything regarding it as he insisted on taking Xian Li to the infirmary. It wasn't just his own demand but the administrator had demanded it too so that was two against one and he hoped Xian Li didn't resist. Thankfully, the human cooperated and Marculus tightened his arm around him as it felt like the other wobbled slightly.

Once he had a firm grip and Xian Li's full consent, he led them quickly towards the building and inside. He didn't hurry too much or else it could strain Xian Li further and there was no need for that. His walk was brisk enough though so that it wouldn't take forever to get at the infirmary. He knew the way and led on confidently and ignored some of the stares they got.

"I really don't like those administrators." He grumbled absently as they turned a corner and began to go up some stairs.

( ::shouts randomly:: MAKE OUT IN THE INFIRMARY! heart )

Perhaps if they were alone, Seals would feel inclined to full-out wrestle and entangle himself with his new friend but he was still on duty and already allowing distractions that he should not. Leiden had summoned him to guard and not to play and he needed to be alert as long as a threat was present. Runihura most certainly was a threat to continue monitoring. It still did not will his eyes to stray far from Tim as his tail occasionally flicked with enthusiasm and his talons shifted and moved restlessly along the earth as he fought the instinctive urge to tackle Tim and gnaw further at those lovely dark scales.

Leiden had been shown there was something uniquely different about Tim compared to other dragons and it was one of the many other questions he had prepared for Nebi when they had privacy again. He'd never seen a dragon take on a humanoid form. He was quite curious about it. After once again asserting Nebi's importance to him, especially his happiness, the elf fawned his affections openly on Nebi to reassure him more. He wasn't modest about doing this in front of all these people.

They had to know they had this kind of relationship and there was no need to restrain himself completely around them. He nodded at his whisper before covering his lover's lips in a kiss that perhaps lingered longer than it should. He wished it could go further but despite his bold behavior in front of an audience, Leiden's honor only permitted him to go to a certain point before it became too indecent and was impolite towards Nebi and the others.

It was surprising and a little strange seeing such a change in Runihara to compare to his earlier behavior though it relieved him to know he was capable of it. But it didn't necessarily mean the Prince wouldn't still cause them issues in the future. For now, it appeared safe and he noted Nebi's amusement about the interaction between the two. "It seems more than just an act." He remarked quietly as his eyes closely observed the way Runihara tended to the angel.

He could just imagine Sky's Father's reactions if he were to hear about this. The b*****d was determined to prevent his children from having any relations with people outside of those he approved of. Talk about controlling."Those moving patterns--I have not seen them before, except in your battle. I thought perhaps erratic movements outside of battle could suggest something was wrong." Leiden explained quietly and hoped Nebi did not think him off for asking such but it wasn't everyday he saw--tattoos moving. When he saw something new he didn't comprehend, he would ask especially if it was about Nebi whom he waned to learn as much about as he could.

Their focus turned towards Ora as she made her appearance and he gave her proper acknowledgment before his intended departure. He nodded to her words and moved to leave the group but was intercepted by Amarillo. He blinked once at his question towards Nebi and glanced down and watched with fascination as the message was written for Ireal.

His gaze softened sadly towards his lover and he felt that guilt again at being in a position that allowed him to do little for Nebi's son. Not without sacrificing someone important to himself that is. Once his business with the teenager was complete, Leiden moved on and gestured Selas to follow along with them into the woods to find a suitable place to hide Nebi. He paused at the snippy response to his warning towards Runihara and just gave him a harsh glare before continuing onward in his intended direction.

The n** surprised him a little and a naughty shiver rippled through him and his arms tightened around Nebi. "As quick as I can." He answered in a slightly husky tone and found a soft patch of grass to kneel down and set Nebi upon it and against a tree. A small creek trickled nearby, which would be useful in the barrier he intended to create in case anyone decided to disturb the incubus.

"I'm going to place a holy barrier in this area, it should keep out anyone that may try to harm you and alert me of any living creature's approach. You can leave it if you must though I would prefer you didn't. I'll also be leaving Selas here with you to keep Tim and you company."

He gently petted his fingers through Nebi's deep red locks and kissed his forehead again and then stood up to turn to Selas. His hand reached out and Selas extended his head down to touch it with his nose and a glow emulated from the unique jewel embedded in the white creature's forehead.

I'm going. Please take care of him in my stead. I do not believe I have to stress how important he is to me.

Selas comprehended the message and jerked his head in understanding. I shall.I won't let him out of my sight.

Leiden smiled and then glanced towards Tim and his smile took on a slightly humored edge as he glanced back at Selas. I'll permit you to play with Tim as long as it doesn't interfere with your duty. I know it's been a while.

Sela's tail gave a little eager wiggle and his talons shifted across the ground again anxiously. It won't, I promise.

Leiden chuckled faintly with a nod and patted Sela's nose before breaking the mental connection, "I'll be back in a moment." He wanted to give Nebi a more proper farewell after he finished his spell. He paced his steps out to a suitable distance in a circular pattern around where he set Nebi and drew his native language symbols into the earth. It took him at least ten minutes to finish before he would return and knelt in front of Nebi, "Any questions before I go?"

He still couldn't grasp how two siblings 'could not help' but harm one another. Sky had always valued family even with such a Father as Kiken presiding over them. His siblings meant the world to him and he'd give anything for them, including the freedom that Kiken manipulated at times by even threatening to disrupt the peace of his younger siblings. He knew Sky's weaknesses and how to target him if he really wanted something from him, which was mostly his cooperation and devotion to their cause.

Sky had half a mind to ask Runihara about his family though it didn't really seem appropriate at this moment and so he settled to displaying his gratitude towards those surprisingly gentle and encouraging words. Was this really the same man that had been trying to murder him earlier? He seemed so different but he knew all men had many faces and sides to them. Often it was difficult to tell which of them was their true self. Even in his own Father Sky could not see the real man behind such monstrous acts.

The healing process had seemed to instigate a unique change in both of them, could a kiss really have that strong of an influence over two people? Only..if they meant it. If it wasn't just because it had been necessary..had Runihara meant it?Did he kiss him because he thought it would help the process or because he wanted to? Sky was too worn out and a bit bashful to ask this especially in front of all these people watching them. Aside from the aching pain in his body, he felt so content where he was and it disturbed the angel slightly how easily he'd accepted these possibly dangerous arms. He should know better..much better than to behave like this...

His energy was returning quickly thanks to Runihura's generous offering and it returned the strength to his limbs but also sense to his mind that had seemed to briefly lose it while cuddling so inappropriately in a stranger's embrace. He'd never be so..openly affectionate with any other man that held him like this but why did these arms feel so..appealing? He stared at the gentle hand that had been holding his and blinked at Runihara's embarrassment and watched it jerk away.

His fingers twitched and felt the need to reach out after it but he stopped himself and averted his gaze again quickly. "Right..no I'm fine now..thank you..." He assured quietly though his logic wasn't entirely buying that excuse but he wouldn't dishonor Runihara by poking him about it in front of Lady Death and the others. Ora shared some interesting information Sky hadn't been aware of and she now had his full attention and growing concern regarding that fiend Lucifer. What was he up to?

Aside from that there was something about Ora herself that bothered Sky. Not her as a person or her duty but...he was getting this strange..familiarity..?..With her?..It didn't make sense to him because he'd never met her any other time except last night and that hadn't even been a proper introduction or had he any time like now to speak with her. Did she have that sort of effect on anyone because she was death?

Death...so she must be there when everyone dies...right? Even those who...

His eyes widened suddenly in realization and his frame went rigid against Runihara with shock and discomfort. ..Who come close to death...that must mean she saw...was she there?.. A disturbing panic rose up in his heart, followed by a harsh shame that dragged heavily in his chest and had his gaze leaving Ora in a hurry. She had been there that night. She had witnessed his foolish weakness and attempt at escaping the trauma and agony his Father had planted within him at such a young age. He didn't like to think about that time.

He'd blocked most of it out and only had a vague recollection of what occurred and he did not dare talk about it to anyone, even the few who knew about it. Though there were times when he was feeling low that he would wonder..if it would have been better had he succeeded that night..end it all before he endured many more horrors and struggles that he knew would come..

No, foolish thoughts. He was glad that person had stopped him. Death didn't solve anything. He could not protect his siblings if he was gone and he could not experience the joy of freedom or the brighter future he was striving towards. He watched Amarillo show his gratitude for Ora's assistance last night and he did the same for they were in her debt for such assistance. She'd helped them out a lot. Sky peeked towards Runihara again as he could still see some of the warmth coloring his face and it enticed a smile to form again briefly as their gazes met in silence before the talk of Lucifer destroyed it quickly.

He didn't know what the pillars or gates meant and looked between the two for answers, "What does that mean? The pillars and the gates to what?" Sky asked, not really realizing how his hand still clung to Runihara as he listened to Ora speak of a ceremony. "Ceremony for what?" His eyes widened at the mentioning of that troubling word, "War?" Between Demons and Angels? Hadn't they always been enemies? Yet this sounded much more serious than just their natural dislike for one another. Why did Satan want to make that worse?Perhaps to get vengeance against God for casting him down?

Sky had read the legends though he wasn't ever completely certain if they were true. He was skeptical like his Father when it came to religious beliefs and tales of old. He needed better proof that these stories were accurate and preferred seeing such proof with his own eyes. He turned his head as Leiden announced he was leaving and nodded to the elf and farewell and twitched slightly at Runihara's harsh hiss directed at Leiden.

Ah yes Nebi, that's what the Serqeti was really here for right?Had the moments between them made him forget that so easily or perhaps he was so content that he wanted to believe this was more than what it was or had the possibility to become more. Such wishful thinking, just like with Schiere. He should know better yet his young heart could not help hoping for these things. It hoped and dreamed for the same things anyone his age would despite being burdened with more responsibilities and demands than the usual teenager.

He sighed and used his supportive grip on Runihara to start trying to get up, "I'm all right now, you can let me go." He assured quietly as he tried to carefully maneuver himself from the Prince's warmth to get to his feet. What sorts of foolery had he been thinking? He needed to stop allowing his heart to be influenced by such simple acts of pity and kindness. That's all they were.

Runihara had probably just been embarrassed because of the audience and holding his hand because..well he wasn't entirely certain what that had been all about but Runihara gave his excuse and he should just accept it and stop interpreting things beyond what they were! It would only cause problems. His feathers shifted with his movements to avoid making any contact with Runihara or that'd give the angel more reactions to be embarrassed about..

He couldn't see her smile but he was certain it had to be there and he nodded to Ora's words with his own faint smile after lifting his head from the respectful bow. Amarillo was glad in seeing Sky's condition improving drastically from the orb though his ears did not fail to pick up on the talk of Lucifer and war. Was the Empire assisting him with such plans? It was unnerving to know they had such a powerful ally on their side. If they were to betray the Academy the odds would surely be stacked against them...

Amarillo saw that Leiden was leaving with Nebi and hurried over to interrupt them briefly. He had to know what was permissible for him to tell Ireal. He had a right to know Nebi was alive and he was certain Nebi would like to deliver a message to Ireal. The blond cleverly was able to hide his own feelings for the incubus behind that serious and attentive expression..at least he hoped he was hiding them appropriately. It would do no good for any of them to know those feelings, especially Shinohara.

The blond nodded to his answer and watched Nebi take his hand and eyes widened in shock at the paper that appeared from no-where and the ink that began to write a message on the paper. He observed this with close fascination and didn't really understand what was being conveyed in those words but it wasn't meant for him to understand. It was meant for Ireal.

"I understand, thank you and good luck." He said to Nebi, and his eyes followed Leiden as he took him away and then returned to see his brother standing up on his own from Runihara's arms. Was it just him or did Sky's mood seem to have..gone down again? He'd shown a lot of contentment in the Prince's embrace and now...what had made his mood change? Sky's mood could do that but usually he could pinpoint the cause though there were times when he honestly wasn't sure what his younger sibling was thinking..

"We should be on our way soon also."

He said this as a general statement to both his brother and the others.
