Vincent sighed as he stood against a stone wall, gazing off into the distance. as the waters gently caressed the sand, he pulled away his gaze from the beautiful ocean to his phone. checking his notes, he looked over them briefly, remembering there was supposed to be a party. he had been asked to go, due to his popularity thanks to being the captain of the wrestling team....as well as the son of a crime lord that ruled the area...at first he was going to simply blow it off and not show up...but tonight was poker night at his father's house...his guest did not like distractions...besides, he really didn't have anything else to do...putting away his phone, he began to walk to his expensive car, wondering if he would meet anybody he knew before he arrived at the party...it wasn't for another couple of hours...

Raven stretched out as she sat on the mats in the gym, she was at cheer practice with all over the other preppy blond girls who had actually had to try out for the team. Raven's teacher had seen what a natural athlete and dancer she was, so she had just been put on the squad and was always the best at each new routine.
The party tonight was being talked about, of course she had been invited, she was always invited to every party because so many guys wanted to hook up with her.
Raven knew better than to trust any guys, she wasn't stupid and could always hear other girls on the squad crying about guys who had tried to sleep with Raven, then used them up when they couldn't.

Deciding against going to the party right away, Vincent decided to go grab a coffee at a nice independently owned café. Those exotic women that worked behind the counters were more than just beautiful, but something in those drinks made them so much better than the name brand...
on the way there, he gazed out the window and saw the cheerleaders practicing. he was the star football player when school was just starting. but now that the season was over, he had turned to wrestling. "Huh, i guess cheerleading is year round..." he said to himself as he drove past entrance of the gym, where a few girls in cheerleader outfits spoke to one another, obviously taking a break from the routine. Vincent chuckled gently as he thought of the girls on the team...none of them were real athletes at all, just easy on the eyes. save of course for a handful like Raven and a few others. girls like her took their practice seriously, much like he did his sports...Vincent then frowned as he thought of his deceased girlfriend...she had died last year when a drunk cheerleader and her equally drunk boyfriend ran over his girl Stephanie...perhaps that's why Vincent hated dumb jocks and cheerleaders...shaking off his thoughts, he returned his eyes to the road until he made his way to the café, parking his car on the small lot.

Done with practice, Raven changed, put on her makeup, and headed into the school, it wasn't done yet. She really wanted to skip because she already got good grades without trying but, she knew she had been labeled as a rebel and didn't want to get hassled by the principal again.

Vincent made his way to the school so he could get to class without any trouble. being rich and dangerous was not an excuse to miss school...being an Emprada meant being smart and polite he supposed. on his way there, he turned to see Amber making her way into class. this school was filled with rich people, but Amber was probably the richest person in the entire school. Tonight's party was going to be good, it had to be, though his parties were always good. It would be wild, this one, no one needed to pay, unlimited booze, dj, the whole thing would take place in an old warehouse so no property would be damaged.
Donnie was looking forward to the whole ordeal but he was keeping a low profile today, he was the party guy, the guy who had income to burn and no leash, his parents had returned to Australia and left the wild teen to his own devices with a disgusting amount of money to back him.

Noticing her smile, Vincent nodded to Raven in polite acknowledgement. for a cheerleader...she was ok. which was more than he could say for the other wannabe sport stars.
