Ishio giggled, agreeing that she might just get away with her dancing in the club, before her hopes were dashed by Lia
"Alright, so I'm not such a co-ordinated dancer... Just hope it'll be too dark in there that it doesn't matter how I dance" Ishio said with a light blush and a giggle, having accepted the fact that she'd never be able to be a world class dancer... or be mildly good at walking in heels.

Ishio didn't really give off a reaction when Lia put her arm around her shoulders. The night a few weeks earlier had given her some perspective, and she decided that even if Lia acted the way she did, she wouldn't do anything on it. Ishio did still feel weird around Lia, her emotions going a bit frantic underneath her calm exterior.

Ishio looked down at her own outfit, feeling a little distanced from the two other girls who she thought looked much better in their outfits than Ishio had in hers. Ishio shook the thought out of her head, wondering why she was getting hung up on not looking as good as the other two. She had never been one to worry about her looks before, but she now seemed more aware of it than ever.

Ishio watched as Lia flirted with the bouncer, in her mind agreeing that the bouncer wouldn't be able to handle Lia. Ishio hoped they would at least get some answers from this, even if it were only ones that would point them in the right direction.
"Thank you, for getting us in... Lia" Ishio said quietly, but loud enough to be heard over the music. Ishio had written Lia's name on her hand, just so that she could use it.

Ishio was normally very forgetful with names, to the point the teachers gave up trying with her. Ishio ended up using traits to call people with, such as Blondie, or Vampire, in the cases of Ethan and Lia.

"And why wouldn't I? A delicious piece of work like Kodi, and a fascinating little bird like yourself on my arms? I couldn't think of a more interesting night."

Lia lead the pair through the milling crowd on the edges of the dance floor, and took them to a VIP booth up the stairs and in a secluded corner of the balcony. Releasing the pair so they could scooch into the half circle booth, she turned and pulled the heavy neon green velvet drapes closed. With the privacy curtains closed the loud thumpign of the music was muffled slightly, allowing them to drop their voices and drop any acts they upheld for the purpose of keeping the secret. With barely a perceptible move Lia moved from her standing position before the booth to sitting position on the small table in the cente rof the half circle.

"So, for what reason am I graced with your presense?"

"Actually, we wanted to ask you a little about your uh...eating habits so to speak."

"Oh? What about them?"

"Well, I admit that I don't know everything there is to know about the whole vampire thing."

"Really? Join the club. I don't know much about it all myself. I was under the impression that I might learn some things from our little white bird here actually."

"Personally I think that everyone, vampire or not, knows some things others don't and are ignorant of other things. Maybe we have the perfect chance to share our knowledge?"

"Hmmm, I don't see why not. I do want to know why you want to know about my feeding habits specifically though."

"Um...well, Ishio here could explain it better than I could."

"Okay, would you like to enlighten me my feathery friend?"

Ishio smiled plotely at the compliment as Lia led them through the dark walled inners of the club. Loud rave music blared and a variety of different coloured lights flashed around the dance floor. All the people seemed to move with the motion of the song, or at least to most humans it would seem so. Ishio's observant eyes led her to people with hearing problems, who's movements were slightly out of beat to others, to those who just couldn't dance properly, much like ishio herself, and some who were too popped up on pills to know how to properly dance with the music.

Ishio's eyes only scanned the area as she was led up the stairs to a private booth. After she took her place next to Kodi, taking her hand in Ishio's own, she waited for Lia to turn serious, before hearing the back and forth conversation between Lia and Kodi.

It was then Ishio's turn to speak, as she looked startled for a moment, before gathering her thoughts.
"We need to know the effects of... feeding. I..." Ishio said, before stopping.
"My body is changing. I need to know more information on what my feeding will do to those I feed from. What effects my feeding will have on them and what effects it will have on me" Ishio spoke quietly. There was a good chance that this whole thing would be pointless. A lot of things were different between Type 0's and other vampires, mainly because Type 0's had to feed and assimilated the blood differently.

"As a type 0, the year before I'm 18 is an important year. My body may not always be my own, so I need to know that if I must feed, what effect that can bring to others and myself" Ishio spoke quietly, hoping this would be enough for Lia. For the most part, this was true.
Ishio did fear what effects her bites had, but had found it hard to speak with anyone about it. The reason why she insisted so much on coming this night was because she had to find out for herself. Even if the other vampires were different, it would at least be a starting point.

"Would you be able to tell us what effect it had had when you have fed... On yourself, and on your victim- I.. Sorry... I mean, on the people you fed from" Ishio said quietly, genuinely sounded apologetic for the slip of her tongue. She wasn't here to paint Lia as a monster, because sitting in that booth, Ishio was as much of a monster as Lia was. In human eyes, they were painted with the same brush.

"Of course, if you have any questions, we'll do what we can to answer them." Ishio spoke gently, playing with a few strands of her hair as she talked.

Lia frowned as she watched Ishio stutter through an explanation, listening intently as she sat atop the table with her legs folded beneath her. Type 0s aged, Ishio had said at the dance that she was afraid of changing, that hitting 18 was going to change her life. What was going to happen that would change her life so drastically that she'd come to a directionless newborn vampire for direction? Had Kodi lied about being a blood donor for Ishio? Lia leaned forward and rested her elbows on her knees, her chin in the palms of her hands as she digested the knew things being laid out before her. Her eyebrow rose as Ishio called her prey victims, smiling to herself as she rescinded the statement.

"My blood donors are hardly victims. I've found that feeding can have a rather erotic effect on humans. I have managed to avoid killing any of them, and I think I might have my promiscuity to thank for that. I'm sure you're already aware that for my kind of vampire, blood is more like a drug than a necessity. I doubt you experience the same things I do. I feel a euphoria for several hours afterwards. I know that we can choose whether we turn someone or not, but I think that we still have venom for lack of a better word. As a species I think we may have evolved to function under the radar, that our very saliva can have the effect of eroticism on humans so we can hide our addiction from human society. My so called victims end their nights as blood donors feeling somewhat drained, but no more than they would if they'd spent the entire night ******** a normal non-vanpire girl."

Lia chuckled as she began to smell nervousness comign from Kodi, she'd struck a chord with her explanation. The girl had kept a straight face through Lia's entire little speech, but the girl couldn't hide her emotions from a predator of humans. Lia had come to realize through her short time as a lone vampire, that she had become an evolutionary anomoly. She was stronger and faster than humans, she could smell pheremones wafting off of her potential prey. Pheremones could tell her all sorts of things, whether a human was horny or afraid, even whether they were sick and filled with blood she didn't want. Kodi was nervous, and Lia didn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out why, not when the pair had come to her to ask about what feeding on a human could mean.

"I hope I cleared some things up for you two. Now I want a specific question answered before we go into detail about anything else. You'd never fed on Kodi before the dance, did you?"

Ishio listened to what Lia had to say. She still felt bad for using the word victims, but old habits were hard to get rid of. No matter how much Ishio trusted Lia, Lia was a vampire. Maybe with time, things would change... Or maybe they wouldn't.

Ishio didn't feel any euphoric, or erotic feelings when feeding from Kodi. It was more sensual... More, if going along the same analogies as Lia used, the feeling was more romantised, rather than sexualised. Ishio wasn't sure what all this meant, but it would be something to think about, or maybe something to point them in the right direction. After Ishio changed, would she become more like Lia... Would the romantised feeling become more sexualised... Or perhaps, maybe that was the dark part of Ishio's bite. It gave the victims a beloved feeling. If the victim loved the feeder, then they would stay and offer themselves to the type 0, allowing them to keep under the radar.

Ishio shook her head, getting the thoughts out. If that was the case, Ishio would end it all now. She would never be loved for her, but only for get bite. If Ishio's life forced love unto people, then Ishio didn't want a life.

Ishio was deep in thought before suddenly looking at Lia, who had seemed to had figured out Ishio's and Kodi's ruse.
"No" Ishio answered strictly. She could have lied, but then Ishio wasn't a good liar. Despite being able to keep her secret, when it came to discussion, Ishio wasn't any good at all.
Ishio looked over at Lia, wondering what her response was. Did she have anything to gain from letting the Type 1's know. Did she now think Kodi was fair game.

Ishio wasn't sure, but looked at Lia before her hand went on top of Kodi's, knowing she was probably feeling a bit off after what Lia just said. Ishio didn't care how Lia dressed it up. They were victims. Just because they handed themselves over didn't stop it being any less of a con.

Lia's eyes narrowed as she watched Ishio, she could see the resentment on her face. The girl thought she was a monster because she was a predator. Maybe she was a monster now, but she'd never hurt a single person in the time since she'd been changed. She'd been a promiscuous individual before becomign a vampire, and she'd had a tendency to bite even when she was a human. Now her bites gave her partners a different kind of pleasure, and they gave her an added ecstacy she'd never experienced before. She didn't target people in the club just so she could get a fix, she flirted with clubbers because she was a promiscuous person, not because she was a monster. She denied the admittedly attractive bouncer at the door not because she didn't want to be discovered, but because it had always been her policy to never sleep with the people she worked with.

In truth Lia wasn't afraid of discovery, she'd seen first hand how quickly a bite stopped bleeding, and how it healed over in the course of a night thanks to whatever venom vampires possessed. She fully accepted that getting high on anything was a dark path, and the fact that she got high on the blood of humans was an especially dark obsession. Her eyes shifted to Kodi for a moment, watching the subtle play of emotion that only her overenhanced vision could see. The girl was fascinated by the inhuman quality that surrounded Lia, and she could see an instinctual fear lying just beneath the surface. Lia's expression shifted into a scowl, and in an almost imperceptible motion she was off the table. One hand gripped the curtain, knuckles white, and she spoke to the pair one last time before sweeping out of the little enclosure.

"I don't care what angst you two get up to. I'm not about to tell anyone your secret, I don't walk into people's lives and hurt them. Believe what you want about me, and go ahead and play your little teenage melodramas. You got what you came for, enjoy the rest of your night."

With that she wrenched the curtain open, the fabric threatening to tear under her grip, and the throbbing music poured in once again. Her hands were hooked into claws as she shoved her way through the crowd, heading down to the bar for a good dose of throat burning alcohol. Lia sat down at the bar smiling as if nothing were wrong, though her eyes burned with the tears she'd been unable to shed since becoming a monster. Ordering a small bottle of whiskey, Lia sat and swigged straight from the bottle, letting the slightly muted effects cloud her emotions. She could almost always be found at The Blackout, when she wasn't working she was on the floor dancing with some hot piece of a**, or she was sitting at the bar drowning her well hidden sorrows. Now she'd been reminded of said sorrows, that she'd been turned into a monstrocity of nature against her will, and would spend the rest of eternity living with that fact.

Ishio bit her lip, watching the vampire walk off as Ishio became stiff, her own hands clenched. Things weren't easy at the moment, and the vampire making light of their situation didn't make thing better.

Lia thought she had the two all figured out. That the two were a bunch of immature little kids being woe is me goths. Or perhaps she just thought that way of just Ishio. Kodi never really spoke of what happened... It was always all in Ishio's little head.

Ishio had been taken at a young age. She had watched her parents be brutally murdered, before being tortured for the next three years. Ishio had been forced to kill and feed off innocent people in order to survive, be it in her own will or not. Ishio had seen and done things that Lia could not had even imagined, and she bore the scars from that time, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally.

But... That was time ago... Ishio had grown since then. She grew cold and distant, but then met Kodi. Since that meeting... No, since that night when Kodi found out, Ishio had grown to love another day. Each and every day. Ishio thought of how short and feeling her life could be. Her father was only 32 when he died. Ishio might not even survive that long. But Ishio let these scars from her past continue hurting... She allowed herself to succumb to her weakness.

"I need to change" Ishio whispered gently, standing up.
"Don't hate me for this. But there's more that I need to know" Ishio spoke before walking out of the booth and making her way to the crowd. Ishio saw Lia at the bar with a bottle of whisky as she walked up to the vampire and pushing her away from the bar before easily pushing the vampire against the wall.

In her eye, she had the same look as that night when she threatened to hurt Lia if she did anything to Kodi, but her emotions were completely different.
"Maybe I'm... Prejudice... It's just... I can't stand you enjoy it... It rattles my bones that you remind me of him... But I can see you're nothing like him." Ishio spoke gently, but still audiable over the speaker system.

Ishio looked up at the taller girl as grip loosened slightly. Lia made her emotions go into overdrive, and now she think she knew why.
Ishio reached up and whispered in Lia's ear.
"You make my heart go wild... You make me stumble and not think straight... But your a vampire. If you bite me, I die." Ishio said with a little smile, going back flat on her feet.
"You make me feel crazy, but ultimately those feelings fade. However, I have someone who I love. And I think I learnt a lot more tonight than originally planned."

"You must hate me for the way I look at you. I would too. But no matter how we dress it up, we are the monsters lurking in the night. But what does that mean at the end of the day anyway? Just something to think about I guess" Ishio said, looking up to see Kodi and smiling gently.
"Goodbye vampire... Lia" Ishio grinned, not having to look at her hand.

"I hope this won't be the last time we meet" Ishio said before disappearing back off into the crowd, returning to Kodi some moments later.
"So... It's dark enough that even my lame dancing won't be notice" Ishio smile.

Sure Ethan was waiting, but they were here, and Ishio would be told off by Ethan either way... Ishio wanted to have some fun with Kodi first. Ishio loved Kodi... And she had been afraid of what might come of that... But if Kodi rejected her feelings, no matter what happened.

Kodi would always be Ishio's first love.

Kodi wasn't sure how she felt about what she'd learned that night, but she thought she understood things better now. It made sense that a vampire bite would affect a human the way they did, it would make the human more compliant and far less likely to raise an alarm. Kodi had never stopped to think about her sexuality before, she had on occassion openly admired males, but she never once had a qualm acting intimate with her female friends. As Ishio went after Lia, whom Kodi could tell felt like a monster and had had it thrown in her fqace by one of her own kind again, Kodi sat and mentally recounted her past. A few dozen and a half times she'd hugged, held hands, kissed on cheeks, and openly dressed her female friends like dolls, perhaps she was bi-curious and had not stopped to consider that. Certainly after that night at the dance she had been forced to think about her sexuality, with this new information though she couldn't be certain any longer.

Getting up to follow Ishio, she stepped into the throbbing music of the club, and let the troubling thoughts wash away. She met Ishio on the stairs, and smiled as she suggested they have some fun before going back. Grabbing Ishio's hand she pulled her down to the dance floor, her grip tightening as the constant movement of bodies threatened to seperate them as she moved into the crowd. Finding a small space for them to dance in, Kodi turned and wrapped her arms around Ishio in a hug before she released her and started to move with the crowd. Usually she would ignore the style and dance how she usually did, but the dance floor was so packed that the only option was to follow the movements to avoid injury. The amount of people pressed herself and Ishio together, just far enough apart not to be grinding against eachother, but close enough that they were obviously dancing together.

Over Ishio's shoulder Kodi could see Lia standing against a wall, the confused and somewhat hurt expression on her face concerned Kodi. though she could not hear it over the clamour of music in the club, Kodi saw an empty bottle shatter against a wall. Then Lia was out of sight, and Kodi forced herself to turn her attention back on Ishio rather than concern herself with something that was both none of her business, but also something she could do nothing about. The tempo of the dancing was beginning to make her sweat, and she soon became glad she'd chosen to wear light clothing, though the lace bolero was beginnging to suffocate her, and when the dance ended she dragged Ishio to the edges of the dance floor. Pulling the bolero off and tying it around her waist, Kodi now stood with bare arms and obvious clevage, looking toward the bar.

"Do you think they'll try to card us if we just go for water?"

Ishio smiled as Kodi took her hand as the two went to the dance floor. With the amount of people and little floor space, there was hardly enough room to breathe, but Ishio managed to dance without making a total prat out of herself. Although this type of music wasn't Ishio's favourite, and far from her beloved (cheesy rock ballads), she could see how people would enjoy it. The fluid of the movements of the crowd, being as one, moving like a wave in the ocean of sound.

Ishio was pulled to the side by Kodi when the song changed as she was questioned whether they would get ID'd for asking for water. Ishio thought about it for a moment and shook her head.
"I'd say we would be fine. Security looked tight outside the club, so I think they wouldn't bother too much about it inside. With this amount of people, they might just serve us to move us on" Ishio said, unsure but smiled as she took Kodi's hand and lead them both to the bar where Lia had moved from. It took about 5 or 6 minutes before the two was served, but Ishio managed to negotiate 2 bottles of water without being asked to prove her age.

Sucessful, Ishio grinned to Kodi and passed her one as Ishio took one for herself, drinking a little and pouring some on her head to cool herself down in the warm club.
Ishio was a little worried over Lia, but thought that she might be better off being left alone now. Ishio hadn't meant to come off harsh when she called them both monsters, but thats what they were. Nearly every vampire accepted that and those who didn't normally didn't last very long.

Ishio blushed a little when she saw Kodi's obvious cleavage, but under the darkness of the club, she hoped it wouldn't be noticeable. Ishio looked down at the clothes she was wearing, although they were very outlandish for the normally inward Ishio, surrounded by the people she was with, it still came across subtle.

"So what do you want to do now?" Ishio asked with a smile, taking another drink of her water.

Downing half of her bottle of water in a few gulps, Kodi lowered her bottle and breathed heavily. She was rather glad that she didn't sweat profusely it being an unattractive sight, but between the heat of the bodies all pressed together and the exertion of dancing she was still sweaty. Kodi looked back at the packed dance floor and released a sigh as her breathing began to even out. She bit her lip trying to decide whether she wanted to go back on the dance floor, not quite sure she could hack the press of bodies again.

"Well, if we go outside to get some air they probably won't let us back in...I think Lia left...and I don't think she'd be in a mood to get us back in anyway. So I guess let's go sit down for a little bit again."

Kodi grabbed Ishio's hand again, dragging her back up the stairs toward the booth they'd been sitting in previously. Once they'd both passed the curtain she stood on tip toes and pulled the curtain across again, blocking out enough of the music to be heard easily again. Releasing another sigh, Kodi turned to look back at Ishio with a small frown on her face. Since Lia had shown up Ishio had been acting differently, and since the dance she seemed to have grown a rather rude backbone. She loved Ishio, and she wasn't sure in what way, but she wasn't sure she liked the way that Ishio seemed to think of Lia, or at least not how she had talked to her. Of course the thought of getting pleasure from drinking blood gave her a chill down her backbone, the fact that Lia didn't like to hurt people made Kodi sympathetic. Was Lia's blood drinking very much different from Ishio's, yes Ishio had to and Lia didn't, but Ishio didn't hurt either Ethan or Kodi, and Lia left her blood donors in a sexual euphoria no worse for wear than they were before they ran into her.

"You aren't monsters. You and Lia may be fast and strong, and Lia can smell our emotions, and you both drink blood...but neither of you kill people. You don't hurt anyone just for a laugh. Neither of you torture anyone. There are probably half a dozen people on the streets right now in this city who murder people just because it gives them a rush, humans that kill for the fun of it. You were born a superior being, capable of being a monster, but you choose not to. Lia was made into what she is, and probably not of her own volition. She could go around seducing people and draining them dry just because she can, but she doesn't because she chooses not to be the monster she was turned into."

Kodi had stood facing Ishio through her soft spoken tirade, gesturing to Ishio when she spoke of her, and toward the club when she spoke of Lia. Halfway through her speech she was getting so worked up that tears og anger and sorrow spilled over her cheeks. When she finished she came around the table and plopped into the seat beside where Ishio had sat when they entered the booth. Tears streaked hot wet lines down her cheeks as she looked into Ishio's eyes, gaze shifting around her face trying to gauge what was going through her head. Kodi's eyes squeezed shut for a moment, and her hand came up to roughly wipe away her tears, new tears quickly replacing them as her hand fell back into her lap. Her eyes popped open again, the irrational emotions running through her plain in her eyes, and then she flung herself forward to hug Ishio, burying her face in Ishio's neck.

"Why can't you accept that you're not the monster?"

Ishio had become stiff, sitting in the booth as Kodi spoke of how she and Lia weren't monsters.
"I have killed people" Ishio whispered in a low tone, tears starting to form at her eyes, not being strong enough to hold them back. This wasn't meant to happen, Ishio was suppose to be putting her past behind her and moving on from it, but now she was being forced to face it by the girl she loved and it crushed her inside knowing she had to directly state to her why exactly Ishio was a monster.

"In the institution, they left us without blood, sometimes for months on end. I killed and fed off many other type 0's... My bodies natural instinct to survive... To kill and feed off anything I can" Ishio said, her body shaking as tears rolled down her eyes.
"Even her... Maria... She protected me every day for years, she held me when I cried and tried to stop the men from testing on me... But then the time came and she did nothing... She just stood there and let it happen!" Ishio said, unable to stop now.

"I even killed the monsters that did this to us... I left but one scientist alive that day, and only because he helped me escape" Ishio said, going quiet for a moment. That was the night Ethan had helped Ishio to escape.
"I know what you want to say. You want to tell me it wasn't my fault. I was starved and tortured and I couldn't help myself. But even after! I was... Damaged. I attacked and killed some hitch-hikers when me and Ethan was on the run. One of them had wounded themselves and the smell of the blood had drove me into my frenzy"

Ishio went quiet after that, but the tears kept coming. Her eyes had become blackened and her body tightened up. Although she had fed the night before last, and she could now go upto 4 days, there were exceptions. Kodi had seen for herself before that when Ishio was under a lot of emotional strain, her body began to need blood. Of course, Ishio said nothing and hid her eyes under her hair, though in her mind this was just another reason why she was a monster.

"Lia... I don't call her a monster because I get some pleasure out of it. I don't do it because I want to hurt her... I do it because she needs to know what she is when she drinks the way she does. I've seen it all before." Ishio said, taking a moment to get away from herself, hoping it would be enough to trick her body back into not needing blood.

"The vampire who killed my parents, and took me to that awful place. Mariarty... He was a close friend to my mother. I was only little at the time but I remember by mother always talking about him. How he would go out in the night and pick up girls, biting them for his pleasures... But one day that wasn't enough for him. He grew tired of picking up dancers or street rats, and so he handed himself over to the institution and struck a deal. He turned in his own friends and family, killed them and handed type 0's over to a life of testing and torture, so he could get his fix." Ishio spoke, her tears slowing down but her eyes still black, hidden in contrast beneath her long white hair.

"What happens when Ethan is gone... And you are gone... I'll kill and I'll feed until the type 1's kill me. I'll always be a monster... ALL vampires are monsters... Perhaps we deserve what happens to us" Ishio whispered, sounding worse than ever.

Kodi leaned back and slapped her hand against Ishio's chest, fresh tears streaming down her cheeks as she listened to Ishio.

"Stop it! You are not a monster! You were tortured! You were hungry! You may have been damaged, but you have healed. DAMN IT ISHIO! I love you. As long as I have known you, you've been the most awkward sweet person I have ever known. You care about me, a human. If you were a monster I'd just be a snack for you to drain dry and toss aside, but I'm not! You love me. Monsters don't worry about being monsters! Monsters don't hate themselves for things they can't help...."

Kodi turned away from Ishio then, sniffling and wiping her eyes as she tried to calm down, the crying was giving her a headache. They'd come to The Blackout to find out what they could about how a vampire bite affects someone, because she had an insatiable curiosity. Now they were fighting about monsters and murder, and she hated every moment of it, she didn't like to fight and especially hated yelling. As it was the music was so loud even with the curtain drawn that she couldn't just raise her voice a little to get the point across, she had to flat out scream her words just to get the same effect.

The sniffling finally subsided, and Kodi wiped her eyes a few more times before she was sure no more fresh tears would spill over. She turned around then and faced Ishio, noting the way she was staring at her lap instead of watching Kodi. She sighed as she scooched closer again, reaching out and placing a palm on either one of Ishio's cheek and making her look up at her. There was a sad expression on her face, and Kodi knew that the blackened eyes were her fault, for she had been the one who'd forced Ishio to relive her nightmares trying to prove to Kodi that she was a monster. Kodi didn't believe it for a moment, the past had been terrible for Ishio, but she was a victim, not a monster.

Kodi reached up and undid the choker around her neck, holding it in her lap as she leaned her head to the side. The emotional strain of the argument they'd just had, had left Ishio drained though she'd fed recently.

"Come on, get your eyes back to normal and we'll go back and dance. You can't convince me that you're a monster. Period. So let's just go have some fun and then get home. Kay?"

Ishio was shocked when Kodi slapped her hand against Ishio's chest, before hearing her angry, tearful words. Ishio had believed for so long that the vampires were monsters. They fed off humans for their own satisfaction, and even though she herself was trapped by what she was, she still did the things she did. She had killed innocent people to keep herself alive. Yes, it was under very dramatic conditions, but never the less, Ishio had never been able to forgive herself for what she had done, after her mother had tried so hard to keep Ishio away from the violence of the vampire clan world.

Ishio was still crying when it all went silent. At least, the silence was between the two of them, the loud thumping music stilled blared from the clubs speakers. Ishio had hated arguing as much as Kodi did, but this single belief had been engrained into her subconsciousness.

Ishio tried looked down at her lap, not wanting to look at Kodi with the eyes she had now... She did not want to look at the one she loved through goblin eyes. When Kodi next spoke, she was calmer, but Ishio was forced to look into Kodi's eyes.

Ishio stayed silent, wiping the tears away as her eyes began to soften up. Ishio could be perfect again, if she was to drink blood... But she wouldn't allow herself to drink Kodi's blood, not right here or right now. Ishio was coming around to not being completely against it, if Kodi was consenting. Of course, if she wasn't, Ishio wouldn't mind one way or another...

But Ishio loved Kodi. If, and only if Kodi was fully consenting, then Ishio had decided she might not say no... But right now wasn't the time or place. She didn't want Kodi or herself to be forced into it, and soon enough she had calmed herself to lock her past back in the cage in her mind again as her eyes returned to normal.

"As strong as I want to be... I'll always be weak... So instead I'll make myself brave" Ishio whispered, before breaking a smile. "Fun sounds good" she spoke, blinking a few times before wrapping her arms around Kodi and hugging her.

"Good, we can go and get out of breath and sweaty all over again. Then you can charm a couple more bottles of water from the bartender again."

Kodi hopped up and walked over to pull the curtain back again, the booth fillign with the full force of the music once again. With a deep breath to steady herself after the super dramatic private moment, Kodi put her choker necklace back on. Kodi had come to accept what Ishio was, and what her particular species required of her. She'd come to love Ishio because of what she was, because she was a strong, prejudiced, pigheaded girl that fought what she was with every ounce of her being. Ishio was a sweet and opinionated girl that couldn't raise her voice to save herself when surrounded by a bunch of human bullies, but could throw a full fledged vampire across a room if she was protecting Kodi, and most of all she loved Kodi.

Stretching her neck from side to side, Kodi did a kind of silly loosen up dance in front of the booth. Glancing over her shoulder at Ishio after the dance she gave a self conscious grin, and then started laughing at herself whole heartedly. Leaning over the table she grabbed Ishio's hand and pulled her out of the booth, and down to the dance floor once again. Frowing for a moment before she waded back into the fray, Kodi released Ishio's hand and held up her bottle of water to judge how much she had left. She still had a little under half a bottle left, and took a giant breath that puffed up her cheeks before dumping the contents over her head.

The top of her hair was completely soaked, and some of her bangs clung to her forehead, other pieces mostly dry save for a few stray drops of water that clung to individual strands. Blinking her eyes open in an attempt to avoid wiping at her eyes, she mentally thanked herself for being smart enough to buy waterproof make-up. Kodi glanced down at herself, rivulets of water streamed down her collarbones and into her clevage, the front of her shirt soaked to the edge of the lace. The wet lace clung to the silky fabric, which in turn clung to her skin, though the clinging was mostly only obvious to her.

"Ah, that'll keep me cool....well shall we?!"

Kodi gave Ishio an impish grin and shook her head, spraying water from her short wet hair like a dog. The grin still on her face, Kodi grasped Ishio's hand again and waded onto the dance floor through the press of bodies. Finding another small pocket of space, Kodi pulled Ishio to her and wrapped her arms around Ishio's shoulder's. She was glad she'd dumped her water on herself as they moved with the crowd to the fast paced music, the wet fabric keeping her skin cooler. By the end of two songs she was sweating and overheated yet again though, and so pulled Ishio back out of the fray once again. This time she released Ishio's hand and doubled over with hands on knees to catch her breath for a minute.

"You know....I'm in pretty good shape...but this place is insane....whoo..."

Ishio panted as she tried to catch her breath. Even as a Type 0 Vampire, the dancing, the bodies and the emotional strain was beginning to takes it strain on Ishio. She would probably feed again tonight.
"Tell me about it" Ishio said in a fit of giggles, wiping her forhead from the sweat she had worked up. Her heart was racing, pumping the blood around her body quicker. This was something else that she had learnt tonight. It wasn't only emotional strain which used up her blood, it was also intense physical activities.

"You know what. I'm beginning to like this music more" Ishio said with a grin and smiled, as her eyes temporarely turned black, before flashing back to normal.
"I'll go get us a drink" Ishio spoke, quickly disappearing off into the crowd before Kodi could make any suggestions of going home. This night had already had too much drama, and Ishio just wanted Kodi to have some fun whilst they were here.

As she waited at the bar, Ishio thought back on the events of the night. They had originally come to seek answers about what a vampire bite would do to a human, but instead Ishio only ended up causing fights and arguments because she couldn't let this single belief go. Unfortunately, it wasn't just like she could say she no longer believed it, and it would become true. It had ingrained itself into Ishio's subcounscious.

Ishio returned with the water a few minutes later. The club was beginning to slowly free up of people now, allowing more body space between everyone, for that Ishio was thankful for. She wasn't good around people she didn't know, and being so close to so many people wasn't a pleasant experience for her, but now the dance floor was a little less packed, she could relax a little.

"How do those people keep this up all night?" Ishio asked, taking Kodi's hand as she looked towards the dancers on the floor, many of whom hadn't moved from their place with the beginning of the night.
