"I don't believe you and you sure haven't given me reason to either so why don't you stop wasting our time saying you would have done this when that time has already passed." He decided, getting tired of beating this conversation about when they had to move on to more important things and his patience was waning. The teacher had better ways to spend his time than keep arguing with this brat.
"They already fear me, you'll learn to also if you know what's best for you or perhaps you won't since it already seems to me that your judgment is severely impaired. Why else? To teach your a lesson, I'm not going to enjoy having you, only punishing you in anyway I find suitable for all this fuss and disrespect. I'd rather make you miserable myself rather than have someone else do it-" He paused as he realized just then that, what he said did indeed sound..inappropriate and suggestive and actually made his cheeks heat up a bit in embarrassment and he cleared his throat loudly. This hormonal brat was rubbing off on him. "It'll be at your loss if you seek me out for things like that, if you try that I won't excuse you out of that class and you'll have to take it again next year."
He smirked a bit at that thought and then it faded at Rain's 'idea' he shared and pressed his lips together in distaste, "How many times do I have to repeat how little sexual interest I have in KIDS? I like adults with maturity and who have finished DEVELOPING, in their brains and their bodies so, quit entertaining the perverted idea that I could ever even be attracted to an annoying pain like you." Santriel insisted even though he was still blushing a little and was trying to force it away. He was glad for is darker skin as the red wasn't AS obvious as it'd be if he were as pale as Rain. "You were wrong and why not? I wouldn't mind having a personal slave to do cheap labor and run my errands. It'd save me time and money."
He wanted to roll his eyes at the face Rain gave him but refrained and just snorted and then scuffed at the boy's ridiculous claim that Sympathy and Pity were not the same thing. "You're the one that needs to read the dictionary boy, Pity can be interpreted as a direction definition of Sympathy, moron. They mean the same thing and you dare insult MY interpretation of the english language."
He scorned him, "I didn't say you would, if I thought that I wouldn't have told you at all. I know you don't care, that's what I didn't care to tell you in disproving your theory that my parents made me how I am. No, I don't need it." Santriel agreed, maintaining that vice like grip on Rain throughout the touchy subject that was obviously upsetting the teacher more than he cared to admit. He didn't know why he was even discussing it with this kid who couldn't possibly understand where he came from or what that sort of struggle was like yet once his tongue started wagging it was hard to stop.
"I'm not stating they should take fault for mine, they should take fault for how they actually raise their brats to have no respect or appreciation for them having everything and not able to realize how great they have it. " He stated and twitched as Rain had the audacity to question how HE chose to deal with their situation and his grip tightened on Rain as he seemed about two seconds from punching the kid.
"We were 5 years old, we didn't know anything about ANYthing, and neither do you!So don't talk as though it were that simple to solve anything for us!As if your thinking could have made any difference or that you would even think about that if you'd been in our position! There was no help and by the time we knew about things like that-" Santriel stopped there, why was he even bothering to explain this to Rain? The kid didn't care he'd just use this personal information as a hit against him and he didn't need that. He was probably hoping he'd spill more so he could use the information to smear his name later on to the other classmates. Dammit, why was he even letting Rain get to him at all? It wasn't like him..usually he'd just brush it off...usually...
"I didn't ask you to justify anything...we're done talking about this. You don't know anything you're talking about and I don't want to hear another word about it or my family, you got it?" Santriel told him in a harsh hiss before releasing him and running a hand through his pulled back strands of blond with an uneven sigh.
"I don't believe that and no not everyone. Some know when to stop , at least the reasonable ones." He wasn't amongst the reasonable ones as he would argue something to death over and over again until his point went across. Unfortunately his points wasn't penetrating this kid's thick head. His eye quivered upon Rain calling him Dumpling, "Pet name? You do not have permission to call me anything except Mr. Kira and you're acting like the damned girl, complaining about something like that." He squinted an eye at Rain's continued sexual references and snorted again, " Well if you did get an injury like 'that', it wouldn't be from me."
He assured, not liking where this talk was going or that it was actually encouraging his mind to even venture into lewd ideas. Ugh, annoying and embarrassing. "Call me that again-stop it with the sexual references!" Santriel demanded because they were really getting to him and not just the irritating sense...unfortunately...he could feel his body temperature rising a bit, ********.
"I don't need to know what private things you do with your brother." He added, and surely wouldn't talk about the very inappropriate things he did with HIS brother. That was nobody's business but his and Setsuna's. "Though I sure hope he's more sensible. And believe me, I'm not the most eccentric teacher you'll meet around here." He assured, already thinking of Seishiro whom was very inappropriate with his TA and his students not to mention he was shady in other ways but...very good in bed. Damn his thoughts would not stop going in that direction! He had to stop it and focus on Rain's punishment;window cleaning.
"If he cannot even manage streak free windows he should find another profession and I've never met a 'hot' Janitor'. Most of them are fat bald and unattractive, not that it matters. I'd still insult their work if it was bad enough to warrant it." Santriel assured and put a hand on his hip, "They're MY windows, I'll be how I want about them. I expect perfection. And if I see any students staring, I'll snap them out of it quickly. I won't allow that sort of wandering mind in my classroom, now quit chattering and get moving." He ordered as he prepared the attendance book and fixed his hair and suit coat a bit to make sure everything was according to his standards.
"If it happened in humans there would be less morons and we wouldn't have so many bodies overpopulating and ruining the earth. And no I wouldn't, I survived just fine without my parents, thus according to natural selection, I obviously was meant to make it. Now put someone else in my position, they probably would have died within days. I saw plenty of people around me die, so I suppose you could say natural selection was in effect in areas like that were only the strong and smart made it. And you're right about that, older humans did try to kill us." He told him simply as if it were common knowledge and removed his glasses to wipe and clean them before placing them back on, "And as I told you, there were on parents to make sure I learned right and it's not uncommon for other children you just weren't aware of it because you were lucky but in poor nations all over the world there are kids in impossible situations, some live, some don't. Now if natural selection applied to everyone and we were all on the same plane, then it'd be fair and we'd see who the strong were, like in the animal kingdom."
" Weaklings die, the strong eat and feed on them. Parents will even eat their young in the animal kingdom if they sense the child won't be able to make it or the male wants to eliminiate the offspring of another blood and impregnate the female with his own seed. And also, there are plenty of animal parents that leave their babies at an early age and the babies survive fine, well not all of them, again the strong make it and the weak don't. Rabbit mothers abandon their young in burrows immediately after birth and return to feed them for only about two minutes daily during their first 25 days. After this brief bout of “drive-by” parenting, young rabbits are left to fend for themselves. There are plenty other mothers in the wild that act as such and in humans too it seems..."
Santriel ranted on and on until the students were ready for attendance and he began calling off names after introducing himself. He noticed the way Rain was showing off and glared in his direction and snapped at some of the snickering students again, "Quiet, or the next student who makes a sound is going to join him." He said and continued with attendance and eventually would finish and close the book.
Then he went over his syllebus and what they would be covering over the course of the first semester and made them aware that he'd be offering private tutoring and the program would also appreciate any students that would volunteer their time to help others with math. They were also trying to get funding for Math League and he encouraged students to ask their parents to contribute so they could get a team together to compete.
" All right, since I cannot be certain if any of the math you learned last year sunk in enough for you to be able to recite it from memory, we're going to take a test. You won't be graded on it but everyone's scores will help me determine your level of competency. Take your time, you have the whole period." He turned his head finally towards Rain, "Oh and don't pay attention to this one, he's my servant for the day and he'll be doing my dirty work until I'm satisfied. Speaking of which-" He turned towards Rain, and if he hadn't finished by now, Santriel would punish him but if he had, he'd just give him another chore.
