In the beginning, I tried to warn you
You play with fire, its gonna burn you
And here we are now, same situation,
You never listen, I never listen
Asher payed attention to the new student for as long as it took to take in the guy's name before the teacher once more got into her lecture. She finished not long after and told them the rest of class was free-time, though heavily advised studying. Asher pretended to study for a little while before falling asleep behind his notebook. He was going to get more of a nap. Besides, he had study hall for any actual studying.
Noah had holed himself up in the student council room, going through copies of club applications. The student council needed to keep records so they knew who they could entrust with documents for specific clubs. He knew his grandfather would lecture him for skipping class, but he rather menial student council duties over tedious classes any day. He made note of a new name. It wasn't like it was rare to have students transfer in but it was rare to see them already applied to a club. And the particular club reminded him of a certain addition to the student council.
He'd picked out Minoko for looks but her memory, for the most part, was spectacular and she kept excellent records. He knew it was rather rude to have made her leave the very club she'd started, but he needed her to build his perfect student council. One that would ensure he had little to no need to do anything but the absolute minimum. He chuckled to himself as he continued going through papers once more.
Everybody's hurt somebody before
Everybody's been worn by somebody before
You can change but you'll always come back for more
Its a game and we're all just victims of love
