A satisfied sigh escaped the lips of the Goddess as she ran her fingers across the surface of the rock in front of her. It was smooth to the touch and carved into rounded corners, making a block that fit in with hundreds of thousands just like itself. She could feel the solidity of his brothers beneath her bare feet, toes pressing into the cold stone. A deep breath filled her lungs before she released it, reveling in the sweet fullness she felt at finally acquiring her coveted position. So many years she had been here… so many years she had waiting for Thanatos to fall and leave his place open for the taking. She had surpassed all others in her sneaky, gradual rise to where she was now, and could not help but smile to herself with a certain amount of happiness she had not felt in a long time.

“Mine…” she whispered to herself, “…all mine.”

The balcony bellow and around her was elegant, extending from the building it was attached to quite nicely, in a fashion that spoke of the grandeur its owner preferred. The manor upon which it climbed was none other than our very own Castle of Darkness, Master suite, to be exact, and gave plenty of room for this beautiful Goddess’ charcoal wings to stretch behind her. A small pile of feathers had begun to accumulate on the stone-made floor, but she paid it no notice. She was much more interested in the campus and lands of Euphoria that laid before her, now partially under her command. Her long, dark hair fell in perfect, curled locks around her face, neck, shoulders and body, only partially disguising the tight, visibly corseted bodice of her gown and the full skirt that blossomed beneath it, falling to her knees. She wore no shoes, as was usual for her, but a pair of ribbons wrapped tightly and messily about her ankles. All of it was in the purest of blacks, of course, completely emphasizing the gentle beauty of her supple curves and prided alabaster skin. Her arms were not covered in sleeves, with the only thing interrupting their appearance the loose lace straps going up and over her shoulders. Such a dark child…

Meijo had not been present in Euphoria for quite some time, due to extended absences and taking of leaves; However, she was here now, exactly where she wanted to be, and had taken up a position she’d coveted for a very long time. Her fingers itched with the sparks of dark energy she wished a reason for releasing, and though her very bones ached with the desire to pulverize some new, impish student, she restrained herself. There would be plenty of time for that later. She would not only take her rightful place on this throne of god-hood, Meijo planned to establish herself by being a bad a** mother ******** too. There were so many invisible rings of death and stories surrounding her of how she’d directly assisted in inflicting it; so many tales of her devious demeanor and actions. Anyone who dared question her authority would definitely be on the receiving end of a harsh punishment she would enjoy inflicting, as Meijo could not afford for anyone to doubt her capabilities.

Smiling indulgently now, she sat down on the rail to afore mentioned balcony, and waited; her fellow administrators would soon make their presence known and she counted on it to happen before she next acted.

((Sorry, I know it is super short but I’m just like.. BLAH.))

After a long absense from the school grounds of the elemental school, Uki had decided to return, knowing full well that he had given up all authority he had before leaving. He never had planned to return; however, he felt obligated to protect the students of the schools again. Most life on the surface of Euphoria was thriving. Uki no longer felt a need to be there, as his rightful place was with those he cared about.

Uki approached the Entrance into the earth, the entrance into the school area. "Well, let's see what they have done with this old place. I know I will not receive the hero's welcome I use to, but I still will enjoy being back where I believe." He slowly entered the grounds and then slowly looked around. The place looked the same; however, he sensed that many of the old gods and goddesses had left the schools. Also, he noticed no more time or thunder elements. He did notice that most of his adopted children and grandchildren were no longer around. It brought him much depression. He found a cherry tree that was growing and sat against it. He looked down and didn't say a word.

The young man sat alone in the canyon, cross-legged, surrounded by its great walls of stone, silent as one could be. The stone towered around him, and the sight of the canyon stretched for miles. But this spot was quiet, peaceful, and he liked it. The young man, Sayer, was dressed in clothing that one could only call similar to Native American clothing. The black eye patch he always wore fluttered lightly on a stray, somewhat cold wind. The beads in his hair and on his eye patch shifted slightly, clacking together just lightly enough to barely make a sound.

It had been a hard thing to be homeless, he remembered. It had been hard to leave the one place that he had called home for the longest time, but he had had to. The rest of the tribe, still lived in the mountains, just as he had once. But he could not go back. He would not. Not now.

No one had thrown him out or abandoned him; instead, he had chosen to run away when he was younger, and it was only because he had been afraid of himself and he had felt alone. For one thing, his father had died protecting him while they were hunting a crazed bear. And second, he had been afraid of his strange power over the earth.

He had found that not every place in the world was so kind. People were afraid of him, and he learned to be afraid of people. And while he had never been a talkative person, his travels and experiences only ended up making him seem more withdrawn. Now, he hardly said anything at all, if he even ever did. His name was a source of great irony, he thought. Sayer. Ha.

Sayer stood and started to walk toward one of the walls of the canyon, and after reaching it, began to climb up it. He had to meet with his colleagues soon, and meet his students. He had found this place, proven himself to be both powerful and knowledgeable, and now had a job. He'd be overseeing the development of others, so to speak. Albeit not being very outgoing or anything, and being the new guy, he was going to do his best.

That was all anyone could ask of him, wasn't it?

Ckoal walked outside of the School of Lightning and looked around. He rubbed the back of his head slowly. "I wonder how long it would take for me to run around the World." Ckoal sat down indian style and put up his hand and started to count on his finger how many minutes it would take him to run around the entire planet. He stopped and just decided to test it. Ckoal got down into running position and then shot off like a bolt of lightning. About 3 and half minutes later Ckoal ended up at the same spot he started. "So... it took me almost 4 minutes.... Not bad, I still have the speed. Now to test..." Ckoal's head got all hazy and then he fell back and passed out. Ckoal was sleeping calmly and then suddenly the ground started to absorb him into itself. This was actually the mole people he come to know and treat as family bringing him down into the dirt. Ckoal's body vanished into the earth and that was basically it for the time being.

The memories of his past accomplishments were by now lost in the river of the past and forgotten in the sea of oblivion. Friends who were once by his side were elsewhere and he was alone, sitting against the towering willow tree that hung over him. A sigh passed through his partially parted lips as his different colored eyes were fixed upon the vast open waters before him. He wanted just become the waters before him, letting his waves of emotions lash out into the world without causing harm.

At last, the time of Shinta's return had come, but this time he had come to the conclusion that he would avoid bonding with others as much as possible. Tightening friendships with others in the past had only caused harm to them and he had even abandoned the woman he loved. He raised his right hand over his face and covered the blind purple eye that was a reminder of the life that he had left behind. Another sigh was released from him as he raised himself to his feet and let himself leaned against the tree behind him. What was to become of him in the new life? That was all he could ask himself at the moment.

A white cloaked figured stood at the peak of a snow covered mountain. He looked down at the large building infront of him. The building glistened in the sun as it was made of ice. His hand raised to his hood which he pulled down to reveal a smiling face. "It has been to long" Azuran closed his eyes and listened to the silence of the mountain. With the next breeze he disapeared in puff of snow. The snow stayed together and moved quickly down towards the building. Quickly it moved down the mountain side ignoring the winds. All of the snow stopped infront of the main doors. A second later Azuran stood infront of the doors looking across the courtyard infront of them. Slowly looked around, hoping to see some new students. To his dismay there was none yet but things would change. He remembered when he had take him position as god the attendance of ice students had already been diminishing. His hope now was that he may be able to actually make a difference. The white cloak he wore disappeared revealing a pair of large white feathered wings. Once again he looked around to see if anyone was nearby. With a large leap he jumped into the air, the wind caught his wings and he pumped them to get higher. It had been a long time since he had flown over the lands of Euphoria. To him it had always been a beautiful place but now it had a renewed beauty, one of hope and knowledge. Another smile spread across Azuran's face as he saw people who he had not seen in many years. A chuckled even escaped his lips as he saw ckoal shoot off at amazing speeds. After circling the school grounds a few times he headed back to the ice school. Softily he landed in the middle of the courtyard. White feathers fluttered down from his wings having been dislodged from the landing. Slowly the drifted down to the ground, as they touched the ground they froze. Still not wanting to go back to his office yet he made his way to a large oak. The oak had been frozen over years ago and never melted, it had actually continued to grow. He leaned heavily agaisnt it and slid down the trunk like he always did. Azuran made sure he was faced towards the main doors so he could see if anyone made their way to them. For a moment he looked at his left hand and a summoned a rose of ice and then went to twirl it unciously as he waited. With a smile on his lips he closed his eyes and went into a trance.

A soft, steady sound, growing faintly louder and louder every few minutes. At first one would not be able to tell what it was, but as it grew louder it could be designated as footsteps walking down a long hallway, much like those of a solitary person walking down an empty school hall. The steps would have much of the same characteristics, the soft clomping, the following echo.... Although strangely it would come from no where in particular.

The sound would grow until it sounded as if someone was walking directly to your side. A moment later the light in the center of a clearing near the light castle would refract and then shatter, revealing Sky-dron standing there, arms hanging by his sides. He looked around and grinned slightly. "Home sweet home......"

Having appeared he stepped forward and turned slight back towards where the light had refracted and shattered, the area repairing itself. He turned back away and then walked forward slowly, having no where really to head to.

((*yawns* I should be around for a bit. Plan on relaxing with Xbox and a large bottle of Smirnoff Ice. Anyone needs me I should be around for awhile, at least until I doze off.

Now..... where'd I put those Piroulines.....))

A ripple would surge gently through the air over the lake of darkness. It would let off a deep thud as the air would brighten slowly. After a long moment, a crack would form across the air over the body of water. The crack would spread and widen, revealing a space of extremely empty blackness. The blackness would grow, its appearance seeming like it should be unnerving, but giving off an energy of extreme tranquility. A pair of crimson dots would be the first thing seen from within this portal as a firmiliar face would make its way back into these beautiful lands.

Rose would let off a soft sigh and she took in the warmth of the sunlight that was unique to these lands. She missed her old home so much and hadn't been back since she had managed to deal with the critical dilemna that was known as Umbra. It was a bit embarassing coming back to everyone after such a horrible accurance but it was a relief that she could do so on good terms. She felt the shift of power amongst the gods and goddesses... Meijo was doing well... She would decend upon the lake, slowly walking across its surface and heading foward to see what new things were lying before her... "Ah..."

He looked to the side, in the direction of the dark castle and the lake of darkness and chuckled softly. "It appears Rose has returned...." He continued walking slowly, taking in the land and seeing what all had changed.

He paused after a moment and stretched, grunting satisfactory, he was a tad stiff. He then bent over and touched his shoes, the soft sound of joints popping as he did so. Returning to a standing position he grinned. "Ahhh.... much better...."

Rose would close her eyes, sniffing out the open energies that were around her... Immediately, she would recognize a firmiliar glow. A soft white marble in her beautiful crimson hair would confirm her finding... She would smile softly, reaching up and gently caressing the marble as it brought her comfort to remember her old friends. "Sky... I'll go say hello..."

"Hello Sky." She would immediately speak. She knew that a sudden appearance wouldnt startle the man since he was used to it by now, but she didnt wish to be rude so she would appear a bit away and walk the last two meters to confront him. "It is... good to see you again." She would look at him and blush slightly. She was still a bit embarassed about before. "Its been a while... I hope everyone isnt mad at me about what happened... before...?" She was as soft and warm as ever, if not more so.

He chuckled softly. "Well hello there Rose, its been awhile." As he said this he would be hugging her from behind, gently wrapping his arms around her. "You're looking well." He chuckled softly then. "I can't speak for everyone, but you should be welcomed. ((Yarg, writer's block/phone ringing))

She would c**k her head slightly, brushing her cheek on his arm, carressing his hand. She was so happy to be welcome somewhere, especially here were all her loved ones stayed. "Mmm... I'm glad you would say that..." She would close her eyes and sigh softly. "Ah... and you look well yourself... Everyhing feels so different now... Time and Thunder is gone... and I feel something new... I wonder if everyone is adjusting alright..." She would look up at the sky and hum gently as she would exhale once more.
