"I could dream of ways to see you, I could close my eyes to dream ,I could fantasize about you, Tell the world what I believe. But whenever I'm not with you, It's so hard for me to see..."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Rise yawned loudly while rolling across her bed trying to find a good spot that she would be comfortable with. But everyone knows that trying to find that perfect spot was practically impossible. So she continued to roll around on her bed making a mess of her sheets. Her green hair was tossed around into a complete mess but she still looked perfect as a succubus should. Since her bed was next to a wall she rolled right into making a loud thunk as her arm made contact with it. "Uuuhhh....oowww..." She moaned lightly as her eye lids began to flutter open.

Once her eyes opened and adjusted to the environment she scanned her surroundings. You'd think after living at the school for such a long time she would have gotten used to waking up in this dorm room. But every time she opened her eyes she imagined herself being back in her home in the underworld with her minions scattered around her. However she couldn't bring her minions here and she had yet to find any human that was willing to serve her. That didn't mean that she didn't have a few around the school that enjoyed her feeding off of them.

Slowly she sat up from her bed and let out another yawn before planting one foot on the ground followed by the other. Pushing herself off her bed she walked over towards the bathroom and went right to brushing her teeth. "Well hello there sexy, how are you this morning?" She asked her reflection in the mirror as she giggled lightly before going back to brushing her teeth. As soon as she was done she hopped into the shower after removing her PJ's.

Finishing up in the shower she wrapped a towel around her body before walking right over to the mirror again. "Let's fix this hair of mine, why do you betray me when I go to sleep? You get so messy! I might have to punish you." She said the last part in a rather seductive tone as she picked up her hair brush and smacked it into her hand for emphasis. Giggling again she began to brush her hair until it was just how she wanted it...perfect like she was. Most girls would apply layers and layers of make up but Rise had no need for such things. She was naturally beautiful and now matter how many years she packed on she would never grow old and lose her looks.

It was that fact that made her feel sorry for some of the human girls, they always tried everything they could to keep themselves looking younger. But no matter what they would grow old and die. "Oh well." She shrugged her shoulder as she smiled at herself in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom. Going straight to her closet she began looking for something to wear for the day. If it was up to her she would be walking around in clothes that could barely be called clothing. But since it was against the rules she dressed as best as she could.

Grabbing a black V-neck shirt she slipped it on letting a bit of her cleavage show which made her happy as she looked at herself in the full length mirror. Carefully she pulled on a pair of white shorts and peered back making sure her tail wasn't confined in them. Her leathery tail swayed happily behind her and instantly okayed the outfit. Pulling on some black heels she looked at herself one last time before walking out of her room and locking the door behind her. She walked down the hall with the cafeteria being her destination.

Ester Wizarah
Remnant Demon of the Quartet

As usual, Ester had been up since before sunrise, patroling the halls of the school. Dressed in Swiss Guard's ceremonial uniform, with the white gloves, ruff collar, even the torso armor but not the helmet, that was a bit much and Ester didn't feel like stuffing her hair up into a morion helmet. The ebony boots upon her feet thudded as she walked along the hall, looking for any trouble makers. Sometimes, she would catch theives or bullies getting an early start on the day, but she was always there to stop them. Most would think it wise to cloak herself while on duty, well majority of the time, so that the students wouldn't see her but that what Ester wanted, to let them know she was watching. She knew it was better to prevent them from doing the crime rather than catch them doing the crime. She hadn't a problem with dragging humans nor demons to be punished by their principle but when things got out of hand, and she needed a quick resolve, the Jian Sword sheathed at her side was used as a last resort, just after her hands. So far, everything seemed just fine, no one was causing any problems just yet and they day was starting off with grand results. Ester could only hope that her fellow Quartets were having the same luck with this inactivity.

By no means was Ester lazy, but it was a good sign when she didn't have to scowled or man-handle anyone. Prehaps the troubled assests of the school were sleeping in today, and Ester has yet to truely start her shift. Only time would tell of this, but for now, everything was peaceful. She felt the need to get a bit higher, but not in the mood for the stairs at the moment. The demon made her way outside, infront of the school, and began putting her skills to use. She scaled the wall, using the features of the building, such as windows, ridged areas, and every knook and cranny she could slip her fingers into. Ester came to an area where there was a gap between window seals. She pressed her feet into the wall and kicked off, lunging at the far window and quickly grabbing the ledge of the seal as she came downward. Using her upper body strength, the demon fainlly hoisted herself up atop the roof, looking out upon the campus.

The sight was rather nice, the rays of the slowly rising sun set fire to the sky and gave birth to the light that would soon blanket this realm in which humans and demons were educated together.

Without ϾҔɑrɱ, without AIM, without even desires...

'It seemed that that morning had been very cold. As if what ever Gods that may exist decided that the weather needed to add to the gloom of the atmosphere. But even without the cold weather, Rue would have still felt so very cold. Sadness was one of the few emotions that could freeze one over, and their was plenty of sadness in the air.

On this day, there seemed to be no room for happiness. Not while in the midst of dealing with the tragic lose of 6 children. The 6 kids just happened to be close friends of Rue's. Friends that she had watched die. Friends that she had been to weak to protect. Now Rue had to go to their funeral and face their parents. The people she had let down, people who had every right to be angry with her, to hate her, to want her to be dead in place of their children.

Rue was actually afraid to go to the funeral, she didn't want to face her friends parents; and she didn't want to slip back into the despair that had caused her to kill those demons in the forest.
Rue tightly gripped her mother's jacket that she was currently wearing around her shoulders. The fur cuffed sleeves were to big for her small arms. And the tail end was almost dragging across the ground. But even if the her mother's coat was to big for the young Raijin, she still wore it. Because it made her feel safe, as if the fur lined coat was an extension of her mother.

Rue stepped into area where the public funeral was being held. She could see the 6 open caskets, the 6 boxes that her friends were laying in. Rue just starred at the stage, not realizing that she was walking forward, and that people were clearing a way for her so that she could get to the front. She had started crying before she was halfway their, but her blurred vision didn't slow her down. She made to her friends sides, crying over each of them individually hugging each body sobbing apologies. Before long she was no longer talking no longer moving from friend to friend. She was just crying, and then she felt arms wrapping around her, at first it was a single pair, and then it was more and more. Until she was being smothered by more then 10 people. She opened her tear stains eyes recognizing the faces and bodies of her friends parents. They were crying with her, and at that moment she realized that these people didn't blame her. They didn't think it was her fault...So why should she?

Rue opened her crimson eyes slowly, taking in an all to familiar ceiling. The remains of the dreams were fading from the fore front of her thoughts, as she slowly began taking in her surroundings still a bit sluggish from sleep. She was leaning back in a office chair behind a desk....and

'Awww man I fell asleep here AGAIN!'

Rue's mind groaned at her when she had finally, recognized the room. She had fell asleep in the Quartet club room. She had been doing this a lot lately. Ever since the strange murders had started taking place she would stay up late looking over every bit of information they had, trying to find a clue. Usually she would call it quits, and head back to her room before it got to late. But it seemed that last night had been one of those exceptions where she had try to go the extra mile and ended falling asleep in the club room. But as it was she should be happy to get any sleep that she could, lately she hadn't been getting much rest.

But sleeping in a chair isn't very preferable, no matter how comfortable said chair may be, at 4:00 in the morning.
"I'm so glad it's Saturday." She said in a sleepy voice, before yawning raising one of her hands that had been hanging off the sides of the chair to cover her mouth. Now she had to make a decision, get up and get her done started, or fall back to sleep.

                Hard choice....

Sighing inwardly Rue forced herself to her feet. Standing her up and stretching her full 6'1 frame out feeling multiple joints around her spine popping with the effort. She gave a little grunt at that, feeling the last edge of sleep fading away.

First things first, the girl would head to the cafeteria and have herself a nice cup of hot chocolate, and then....well only time will tell.

...even if you miss it you will land amongst the stars."
⇢ᴌᴇs вʀoᴡɴ
The morning sun felt like it was burning holes into his eyes, even as he straightened the pile of papers in his hands for the fourth time. It wasn't that he detested such a vital source of light, but his brain craved sleep above all. His sleep schedule had been interrupted as he prepared all the necessary documents and gone through the list of coming students alphabetically. Which of course, took the entire night to complete.

He adjusted his glasses before they skimmed down to the brim of his nose, stifiling a yawn that urged to be released. The day was way too early for anyone of regular values, but if he fell asleep now, he doubted he would get up anytime soon. That left him with mulling his time over individual details and odd jobs to keep his body busy. He gave himself the once over in the mirror, glad the curve of his glasses hid what remained of his deep circles.

If not for a brief amount of resistance training, his entire being would have shut down from the intense conditions. As it was, he wasn't sure if he could handle a full fledged conversation with another human being or otherwise. A quick splash of cold water worked pretty well as his calculating brain begun to turn its gears. He scrubbed his face down with a towel, brushed at his teeth, and managed to get his hair in some kind of order.

A book was still atop the sheets of the bed, left over from a similar night of repeated work flow. He placed it onto his nightstand, giving a quick peek at the title page before allowing it to display the cover in its place. Maybe he would return to the piece when the day was done, but for now, he had things to do.

As he clicked the door into place, he shifted the papers into his left arm while he retrieved a pen from his pocket. If he was going to work another few hours over paperwork, it was better he didn't shut himself up in his dorm. A change of venue was said to work wonders, and just staring blankly at the wallpaper wasn't going to do much other than cause him to go insane. This school was probably one of the worst places to snap anyhow. Now where could he go for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere?

"Those eyes, whose are they?"

THE PRESIDENT
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx of the Student Council

● Rooftop ● Ester ● Forlorn,calm,then startled ●

Why she was up to see the sunrise was anyone’s guess. She’d kill for another hour of sleep but here she was on the roof, the last of her coffee was getting cold, and the paper was already folded up in her hand, stocks already checked and noted. All that was left to do was go back down to her room, and get some homework done.

Well and check on the other thousand things on her to-do list as Student Council President.

She let out a sigh as she took a final sip of her lukewarm coffee; the last gulp was always the most bitter. With the edge of caffeine on the back of her throat as she tucked her paper under her arm and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, lodged one between her lips and found herself a lighter. She didn’t like smoking, she thought it gave her a very seedy image plus she had hated the smell for as long as she could remember. She hated how it lingered on her father’s clothing, how every time she had hugged him she’d drown in the smell. But ever since those murders started, she got scared...got stressed and like her father she found herself reaching for a cigarette for a moment of peace.

You just never think something like that would happen around you. Even in this place, something like this shouldn’t happen. She didn’t know what it was like in the demon world but...death shouldn’t be here in this form. Through her artfully dishevelled bangs Erica cast her gray eyes up to the sky. Clear, blue and crisp. The sky looked the same here as it did in the human world; this school was almost like any other...mourning the loss of fellow members of the student body in such a gruesome way.

She ran a hand through her raven hair, the blue streaks she had put in ere almost completely faded by now. Erica was dressed casually for her standards; She wore sleek black jeans, a red dress shirt, with the sleeves rolled up and the collar unbuttoned, with an black and gray argyle sweater vest over top. Those fancy dress shoes that made your feet twice as long were worn-- black and white and shined up. Blowing out a mini jet stream of smoke she eaned her back up against the ledge.

The moment of calm was magical. Her eyes slipped shut for a quiet moment.

And then she heard noises, seemed to cut loud through all the subtle morning noise. With a blink of her eyes she looked to her left. "Holy s**t!" She squawked, jumping out of her skin, she stumbled to the side as one of the Quartet members suddenly appeared not too far from her.

Her cigarette barely clung to her lips, as she huffed, keeled over, clutching her chest. It didn’t matter how long she stayed at this school, some things about her demonic classmates would never cease to amaze her.

She straightened back up, straightening her collar with regained composure, yet her eyes were still buggy from remnant stun. Good morning Ester. My apologies for that little display, you startled me.She said with a nod, her accent was faint but gave her plain greeting some warmth.

And if I only could,I'd make a deal with God,And I'd get him to swap our places...

Shrill and manic, the sound of shrieking tore through the burbling of the morning. A figure shot out of the gloom, their body spread to form the shape of a star as they raced, whooping, from across the cobble pathway and toward the school doors.

                                                              Crack! Crack!

Exploding through the air, and falling in a snowdrift of color, confetti spread throughout the yard. The person gave another victorious war-cry, and dove into the corridors headfirst.

It flashed by at enough speeds to lift a wall of air in its wake, yet somehow managed to still be glimpsed by early risers - and who had seen it, shrieked in surprise or alarm or confusion, breaking the already shattered silence. The body had rolls that jiggled like upset Jello with each pounding footstep and it was pink and fleshy, knees and elbows shiny and raw, arms thrown upward to reveal rather clean shaven armpits. The oversized head lolled from its too small neck unexpectedly from one side to the other, its orange fur flowing backward in its own breeze, whiskers dancing. And a single black rectangle stretched from hip to hip to block the essentials - both back and front - from viewers harm.

As it released another earsplitting shriek, it could be distinguished : a nude, portly, streaking man wearing a tiger mascot head.

People dived out of its path as it barreled down the hall and rushed into the next corridor, and the boy twirled the slim white stick that protruded from his pouty lips in a semicircle.

The thing wheeled in the next hall, and, finding a discarded mop handle, pumped it above its head, yodeling. A small cluster of people shrank away, confused as well as disturbed, and the illusion ran itself into a circle before shooting down the opposite path.

From where he sat in the corridor, Nolan grinned. His fingers pinched the end of the lollipop and he removed the glistening red orb from his mouth, letting out a satisfied sigh. He didn't need to open his eyes to know the chaos he was creating. And, thank goodness for that, too, since he had woken up to a silent morning! Can you believe the audacity of the order? There were no interesting sounds or curiously yelled statements being heard through the walls of his dorm that morning. There were no strange flashing lights and bizarre pounding music that pulsed beneath the frame of your door, urging you to want to open it. There was nothing interesting outside.

                                                              Just order.

                                                              Plain, boring order.

Now that Rise was up, dressed, and walking around she felt completely herself and she was feeling great. She strutted around the hall in her heels as she caught a couple of students staring at her with want. Some girls just looked at her with envy because they wanted to be her while other just plan out hated her. How she knew this? She could feel it because of her powers. Since she could control pheromones she knew how much of the hormone was in the air. It clued her in on how certain people felt about her every single day. The sad thing was that she loved all the attention she received from everyone without her having to do a single thing but look good.

The succubus never realized how cocky she was about herself and how good she looked. But she figured it had something to do what she was, so by nature she was just amazing. "Wonder what's the special today." She asked herself as she waved her fingers at a male that was staring at her with a strange look on his face. It was like if he was lost in a whole different world but she snapped his fixated gaze with her wave which made him turn around quickly. Rise giggled a bit as she went back to thinking about what she was going to eat today.

It was funny really when Rise talked about eating human food. Everyone knew that a demon like herself didn't feed on human food, she fed on humans themselves. Now she didn't drink their blood either because that would make her a flat out vampire. She fed on their life force and energy, it was sad when you saw how a person looked when they were fully fed on. But she managed to eat safely without killing anyone even though she had trouble not doing so. But when she are food it made her feel full which mean't that she didn't get hungry as much as she should. It helped keep her hunger at bay since usually she fed constantly sometimes even nonstop.

As she began to reach the cafetria she began to hear people yelling and running around. She paused in the hall wondering what was going on when she saw it. Something came barreling down the hall that would confuse absolutely everyone and everything in it's path. Rise didn't even open her mouth as she stepped to the side letting it go by her as she shook her head. Pulling a strand of green hair behind her ear she turned and peered down where the figure had went. "Must be Nolan." She thought shaking her head as she continued down the hall wondering why he had to start his day like that. It was completely beyond her but what did she care what others did? Shrugging she turned and pushed open a rather heavy metal door and stepping into the cafeteria and made her way to the line to wait for her turn to order.

The line moved at a fair pace which didn't bother her because she soaked in the stares she continued to get. "Laaalala..lalalaaalala..." She began humming a tone out loud as she rocked from side to side when it was her turn to order. She thought about it for a moment before deciding on something simple and not to greasy. "I want a huge as possible hot chocolate and some toast." She told the lady with a huge smile on her face as she giggled. The old woman serving laughed as well when she shook her head and began putting her request together. It didn't take long before she had a large coffee cup filled with hot chocolate and a plate of toast. Strutting away from the line she made it to a nice table that was empty and sat herself down. "Best way to start the day is with hot chocolate because coffee just makes your breath stink!" She inhaled the smell of chocolate coming from her drink before taking a cautious sip. "Mmmmm....so good."

Without ϾҔɑrɱ, without AIM, without even desires...

On her way to the cafeteria, Rue had decided to take a little detour to her room. She needed to change clothes and shower, it's not like she smelled or anything. But she always felt a lot more comfortable when she was "fresh".
Now that she was wearing a fresh pair of clothes, a simple black shirt and black jeans with matching sneakers and of course her favorite black coat, that her mother had given her long ago. As a kid she had never took the over sized jacket off and now that she was older and had grown big enough so that the jacket fit, she still refused to leave it alone. She always wore this jacket no matter what the weather.

                Anywho....got of track.

Now that she was dressed in a fresh pair of clothes, the raven haired girl made her way down the hallways towards the cafeteria. So she could indulge in her morning cup of Hot Chocolate and just relax before her day really got started.

But apparently it would be to much to ask for Tenma Academy to just have a normal morning, just one normal morning where things didn't go out of hand, and the Quartet wouldn't have to flex their muscles.

                'Damnit'

Rue could hear the voices of screaming students around her and saw as the same students began running away from something that she couldn't see yet. In all honesty most of the students looked more disgusted then scarred, and Rue...well Rue was getting irritated. She didn't know what was going on, but when she found out what it was and who was responsible there would be hell to pay.
The tall Raijin continued around the corner, and instantly her crimson eyes settled on the cause of the commotion. She saw a large wobbly wad of fight barreling towards her, it took her eyes less then a second to register that the ball of fight was completely naked and wearing some type of headgear, making it look like some crude mascot. Rue gritted her teeth as she stood her ground against the creature that was barreling towards her. And once it made contact with her, it become very distorted and shivered around her body before reforming behind her and continuing it's pace. Rue ignored the illusion and decided to head straight to the source, she began racking her mind, trying to remember any Demons with abilities that involved illusion magic.

                'Let's see, Takeo, Nolan, Marini......NOLAN!!!'

Rue had her answer almost instantly, she had no clue why she had even had to think about it, it was so obvious. The little devil was always causing trouble, with his powers. Now it just came to the task of finding the little b*****d....THERE!

Rue spotted the boy, not to far away from the mess he caused, he was sitting with this s**t-eating grin on his face. Rue walked directly up to the boy gripping him by his shirt collar and pulling him to his feet.
"What the hell do you think you're doing" Rue demanded, this boy was trying her patience. It was to early for this, she hadn't had her hot chocolate yet, and she had bigger things to get too. She did not want to waste her time messing around with some kid and his pranks, but if she had too she would punish him.

The absolute love of his life! The goddess with long legs! Rue Tsumiyu. Every trouble-maker knew the names of the people who were determined to ruin the fun. Nolan knew hers through some floating wanderers. Nolan spun the shiny red lollipop around his fingers in the way someone might twirl a baton before it vanished in a flash of confetti that dusted the floor - and sank into the stonework, until it disappeared as soundly as it had never been there. (Which it never had - not the candy and not the confetti).

Rue, of course, was one of the many joy-kills that happened to end his fun. He liked to make his games a sort of reminiscent hide-and-seek, and this woman being the one who had found him fastest today. Nolan blamed her height - if she had used her powers of long legs for the good of modeling lingerie than tracking down people like him, the world would have been a much happier place!

Rocking back and forth on his heel, the bundled knot of his shirt however, keeping him locked close to her, Nolan scrunched up his face in thought. "In reality, I was sitting there, being sexy." replied Nolan, making a falsely thoughtful face. "And bored. When a very tall young woman with nice legs tried to turn my shirt collar into a noose." He put one hand on his hip, a finger tapping his chin.

Standing, he was almost perfectly eye-level with the otherwise tall young woman, and Nolan examined this for a second -- before wriggling his arms into his shirt, and promptly sliding out of it, as easily as a snake peeling its skin.

With a satisfied sigh, the Psyche Demon walked a few paces to the left, straightened and smoothed the front of his stripped short-sleeve shirt - the one he usually wore beneath the first in orderly emergencies - and sighed. Unless there was a wish to make this into a strip-club (which he has done before), it would be best not to cling onto this new article of clothing.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of having your company for?"

" You're only mad if you believe you are. "

Without ϾҔɑrɱ, without AIM, without even desires...

Rue couldn't believe the steady stream of bullshit that was flowing out of this boy's mouth. She was almost tempted to release her grip on him and jump back as to avoid being splashed by the steady flow of sewage. "In other words you were causing trouble, with no good reason." Rue said cutting him off. She tightened her grip on Nolan's shirt twisting her fist tighter into the fabric. "And now that you're caught, you're trying to get a laugh out of me, or perhaps confuse me so much so that I won't hurt you" Rue was just making assumptions, and she honestly didn't care if they were wrong or not. But she did know one thing for sure, she didn't like the way this boy was staring at her. And she also didn't like how smug he seemed. Rue clenched her teeth tightly, this boy had no idea what kind of trouble he was causing, and the precious time that he was wasting. Once again Rue's grip tightened on his shirt, she wanted to string him up by his color and leave him hanging of the edge of the school roof for all to see. But even as the leader of the Quartet, she didn't have THAT kind of authority. However she could give him a good whacking if she needed to. But she didn't want to do unless she really had to. After all she isn't some bully.

And then the illusionist continued speaking, each word he said brought him closer and closer to getting zapped. She would give him a really bad shock if she had to and he....... 'nice legs?' Rue did everything in her power to keep a blush from coming to her face, she didn't like being complimented. not that she didn't appreciate the sentiment, but she just didn't know how to handle them. She always ended up sputtering off some random words all whilst her face was red as a tomato. But not this time, she managed to keep her composure, only thing that changed was the fact that her jaw tightened a bit more then it already was.

She was about to give Nolan a good shock, zap him once just to let him know that his little games weren't appreciated. She wasn't going to hurt him, but she sure hoped she would scare him. But her chance was missed when the slimy little devil slipped out of the shirt that she had a grip on and stepped away.

Rue let the shirt fall uselessly to the floor, the kid was quick she had to give him that, but his smugness would be his undoing. He should have taken this chance to vacate the area, as it was she could still strike him with lightening if she wanted too, but she had a better idea. She just wanted the boy to keep talking for now. And while he did just that, Rue began rolling her shoulders, warming up her muscles. Any Youkai around who had a few run ins with her in the past knew, that this meant she was getting ready to strike. In fact she could hear a few of the Youkai in the crowd talking amongst each other taking notice to what she was doing. But she figured that even if Nolan knew what she was doing, that he wouldn't flee.

'after all he is to "cool" for all that'
Rue thought sarcastically. Nolan had finished asking his question, and Rue had finished rolling her shoulders. Now it was time to move, she set her stance quickly and snapped a heavy roundhouse kick towards Nolan's head. Putting a good bit of force behind it. She wanted to put this boy on the ground. To make an example out of him.........

"You're lucky that combat isn't the only thing that my mother trained me in." Rue said. She had pulled the kick short, stopping it right above Nolan's shoulder mere inches from the side of the boy's head. "Patience" Rue spoke, more to herself then to the boy, who had just been saved by her mother's merits. She slowy moved her leg away placing her foot firmly on the ground. As took a combative step back, still ready to strike if Nolan took offense. "I'll let you take that as a warning, though if I catch you causing trouble again, I will hurt you" Rue said her voice holding no hint of play. She as as serious as can be.

said Nolan absently, both hands on hips.
"Be careful of what is said aloud,"
And nobody will have to go 'bye'

He was let off with a warning. Alright. What was he supposed to do now, bow to Rue in all her brilliance?

                                                              Actually -

Dipping from the waist, one arm folded behind his back and the other left to flutter in front of him, Nolan exclaimed in his thickest British accent, "To the regal and fair-minded maiden, I give this bow of respect - good show! Good show!" and, then, straightened, a hand pressed to his chest.

"If you catch me causing trouble again," echoed Nolan, normal once more. Was he the only one who heard the wind whistle as it went through the gaping loophole in that threat? "I don't doubt that you wouldn't 'hurt' me," he smiled, "But what if I caught you causing trouble?"

Enforcer of the 'peace' (the boring, lethargic, often bash-your-face-against-a-wall peace) or not, nobody's perfect.

But she had said a conversation killer. Mentioned it, more than likely, without really knowing.

                                                              Mothers. Family. Same drift.

He blew upward sharply to correctly disarray the fringe of his hair that had been ruffled in the passing wind of Rue's foot. Nolan ignored the warning looks - the imperceptible shaking heads from the corner of his eyes - as he paced a semicircle around the young woman, whistling. Gaze curious as he analyzed her positioning--and he wondered, what in the name of Satan was this girl doing? She looked like one of those Mortal Kombat fighters - except without the over-exaggerated bouncing from heel to toe, muscles, and fists circulating.

And the worst part of it was, he couldn't fight back.

Nolan shrugged a shoulder, yawned, and ambled toward his shirt.

"Either way, pretty heavy restrictions, you're setting there. Boring, too. But if that's going to be your case," he grinned, "I accept your challenge. And we're going to know each other very well this year." Snatching the jet black fabric from the ground, Nolan snapped it once, twice - and disappeared.

Of course, it was all just another trick - and he was meandering through the crowds some feet away, leading himself back to the canteen. His nudist -mascot that had been frolicking through the corridors and singing songs from The Sound of Music died in a massive explosion of confetti and the blast of a balloon bursting. All of which promptly cleaned itself back into its nonexistence.

Pushing open the wooden oak door to the cafeteria, Nolan whistled as he waited his turn in line.
" You're only mad if you believe you are. "

Ester Wizarah
Remnant Demon of the Quartet

The startled sound of Miss.Osvald quickly caught the attention of the Quartet member, who looked over with a quite bored expression on her face. Ester slowly turned, facing Erica, slauting the Coouncil President while her body stood fast, back straight and heels pressed together, with her opposite arm at her side. "Madam President...It is fine, I tend to have that effect on others...Also, good morning to you aswell."Ester quickly stated, lowering her hand and returning to a more relaxed stance. Looking at the two, more so, at everyone else and then at Ester, it was one could see that her attire was very differen't. Ester often wore strange bits of clothes, or things that seemed odd to others since most wore jeans and what not. Often times, one would see Ester in renaissance or most any old types of clothes. Other days, one would see her in prehaps and under-armor workout shirt with a pair of gym shorts, quite differen't but she pulled them off. She was quite firmly built most would think for a high school girl, who's most concern would be being petite and cute, Ester was slim but muscular, not crazy built but she was fairly well toned.

The remnant eased her bum down on the ledge, looking down at the campus and allowing her legs to dangle off the edge.
"So...Anything new going on? Besides the murders? I have heared and earfull of the subject already enough to prehaps know all there is to know at this point." Ester spoke, she seemed rather indifferen't to the killings among students. It was a thing Ester saw little to be emotional over, death came to them all at some point and it was only a matter of time, the best thing to do was for the living to learn from it and attempt not to join the departed. Sure, she seemed rather cold but that was Ester, she ment no offence but to her it wasn't all that big a deal.

● Rooftop ● Ester ● Worried, getting stressed trying to relax, everything's fine●

Erica sucked on her cigarette listening to Ester with a faint smile at her comment. With the Quartet’s members stoic attitude it was hard to tell if she was joking. But she nodded at her good morning. One thing she found comforting about this school that she fit in well enough, people were all sorts of strange. She wasn’t all for the salutes and such, as the heiress to her fathers billion dollar company she was prepared to be treated with high regard but the whole saluting thing...eh. She was the president of the Student council not of Denmark or anything...she took another drag with a raise of her eyebrows.

                        Well not yet.

Eric just leaned herself against the ledge, not quite tall enough to sit herself down without jumping. She wasn’t a little girl but standing next to Ester she might as well have been. “Debating on with the council should carry on with regular school functions...even during these...these difficult times.” Was her grim reply. Everything revolved around these murders; you couldn’t get passed them especially since they were unsolved. She felt a bit of a shiver run down her spine. Who was to say that she wouldn’t be next? W-what if one of her fellow classmates were to be murdered right there in front of her. What would she do? What could she?

Erica looked visibly shaken by this, she took a needy drag from her cigarette, and the lit soother was already burning out. “It’s scary. This isn’t supposed to happen here or anywhere.” She said, there was a listless hopeless sort of expression on her face. “It’s changed me. I’m waking up every morning thinking if today’s the day I’ll die.” She almost whispered. Sorry for exploring the subject btut hat's really all that's going on.she said glancing over to the other girl "And how are you? I'm sure your busy with the case and all, not to mention the Quartet's regular duties.I always forget there I kinds of people in this school who the effects of the recent events hardly reach and that they'll carry on with their everyday shananigans."

Rue gave Nolan a real dubious, when the boy began to recite some weird saying or poem.
'or whatever the hell it is' Rue thought, whatever it was it didn't matter. She just wanted this boy to understand that his little pranks weren't appreciated, and that it would be a lot easier on everybody if he just stopped. But of course she knew that, that approach wouldn't help anything. The boy seemed content to cause trouble. And that thought was further confirmed by the way he bowed to her. Rue decided to brush his comments away, not entertaining anything he said anymore.

Until of course he tried to discharge the little warning she had given by putting extreme emphasis on the 'if' in her warning. He just had to say something, he couldn't take the warning at face value and let it go.
"Listen to me talk now Nolan." Rue said, her brow furrowing for the first time showing her frustration. "I have a lot on my plate right now" Rue stated blandly, She was referring to the murders around school and how they had been at the forefront of the Quartet's operations. "If you make me waste anymore time I won't be lenient with your punishment, and I'm not just talking about what I'll do to you. I'm pretty sure the administration won't appreciate any interference when it comes to dealing with these events" Rue let that hang. She knew that there was a chance that the boy wouldn't care. But if that were the case, then well he would be digging his own grave. "And understand that you are no different from any student here, If I have to I will hurt you" She said seriously. "And if you ever catch me causing trouble, then let me know. I promise to award you" Rue said simply, not wanting to deal with all the backwards questions the trouble maker was asking. And then he was gone, in a poof of confetti.

'Great......ugh I really need that hot chocolate.'

Rue thought tiredly, the crowd was beginning to leave the area, and so was Rue. She was heading for the cafeteria, she reached the double doors in no time. Pulling them open and heading straight for the drink line. After a brief wait in line, Rue was in the front.
"Hi Barbra, I'll just have the usual." Rue said, Barbra smiled back at the Raijin and instantly produced a tall cup of Hot chocolate, placing it right on the counter. "Knew that you would be coming in, thought you would want to get in and get out." The cafeteria worker said, Rue's natural smile spread across her face as she scooped up the large cup. "thanks" Rue called heading out of the cafeteria and back into the hallway.

She didn't want to go back to the office again, she knew that all she would do is sit at her desk and stare at the case reports. Reading them over and over and over again. Just hoping that if she read it again that she would see something that she was missing. But of course she knew the story inside and out. But she just couldn't figure it out, why would someone want to kill students at this school. And why the hell couldn't she stop it.
Rue quickly shook her head, she couldn't let herself get into that train of that, she didn't want to start blaming herself for this. She knew how bad the results of that kind of thinking can be.

'I'll just head to the roof, be alone....clear my head a bit'

She thought, making her way to the stair well and heading up. She hadn't been to the roof in a while. Which was strange, it was the place she usually went to clear her head. But when the murders started, she didn't have much time to spend relaxing.
Rue reached the top of the stairs pushing the door open and stepping through it, raising her cup to her lips and taking a sip. Her crimson eyes scanned the roof, seeing that she wasn't alone. She saw one of her subordinates Ester standing on the roof talking to Erica the student council president.
                .........oh Erica.'
A s**t eating Grin spread across Rue's face, Erica was on of her favorite people around campus. Not because they were best friends or anything. But it was real easy to make Erica blush and get the girl all squirmy and uncomfortable.
"Hey there girls" Rue said walking over to the two females, she gave Ester a nod of camaraderie before turning her crimson gaze to Erica. She didn't say anything to the girl, she just starred taking another sip of her hot chocolate and smiling at the girl. She was trying to bait a response out of Erica, and she knew of many ways to break the girls no nonsense outer shell.
