It's that dark breeze that passes by and says nothing...

Suti looked up at Dream and blinked. She placed her hands over the ice bonds that were already weakening from lack of contraction on the groups part. With the added warmth of her hands the bonds could easily be broken. Standing up and peering at the group cautiously. "Thank you, I think I can handle it from here, without the cutting...and blood. Though that would be very entertaining I must admit." She smiled weakly and stepped toward the leader. Her voice seemed to change to a dark tone. She was quoting something she saw in her vision. This would hurt him more than the girls sword, she knew, it was cruel and heartless, but she preferred it this way. Better to fight my own battles with bloodshed, and have someone else do it. The leader looked at her like she was insane on thinking she could get rid of him. "You shall never have death even if your drowning in your own pain. Even if you do die, we'll bring you back!" Her voice was deep and sounded almost alike to the one in the vision. This was not a experiment related gift, this was just a really good talent that helped in tormenting people.
And it worked, the boys face went pale. He seemed stunned, and you could tell he was reliving the horrid memory.

Iden Colewall

A man was sitting behind a desk in the front of a classroom, casually grading papers. He seemed rather intent in the attention he paid to his work, but the opposite couldn't be truer. This man, Mr. Colewall to his students and Iden to his colleagues, was actually listening for anything amiss in the nearby hallways. It was quiet, a little too quiet if you asked him. Iden got up from his desk with a sigh, leaving the still yet to be graded papers on the desk before walking out into the hall. There weren't any students in the immediate area, but that didn't mean something wasn't amiss. Iden shook his head before pulling out a handkerchief and focusing himself, finding everything that was going on at that exact moment. He winced as he opened his blue-gray eyes, pinching his nose with the handkerchief as the blood started to seep out of it. There was one student who was being harassed by a few others and another who was sitting alone in a darkened room, two situations he'd rather not get involved with. When it seemed that the harassed student was holding her own, Iden decided that it would probably be pertinent to check on the lone student. The headmistress had made it clear that the students were supposed to learn how to socialize with one another. Now if he could just find the exact room, that would be wonderful. Iden turned down the hall and began looking for the room the lone student was in, thinking of the best matches for the dark, windowless place he had seen.

The girl heard footsteps approaching.. as if it was looking for her. There wasn't much lights around in the room and she knew she would flinch from the sudden brightness in the room. Still, she furrowed her ears closer to her scalp, making sure not to show firstly, that she's an animal, as others have always said to her. She found ways to appear human.. but it won't last long if she relaxes too much. Her eyes closed for the moment, prepared for when the door would suddenly be opened. She was scared of being temporary blind...

Gwen Patts

Gwen Patts walked down the hall dressed in green cargo pants and black tank top. It was a very military style outfit and she had a jacket that went with it, but she had left it in her room. She been walking down these halls for a while now and she'd grown a liking to them. They were very different from her previous place of living something that many of the students here tried not to remember. She didn't mind remembering though. She viewed what she had gone through as something that shaped her into what she was now. She was strong, confident, and quite capable of taking care of herself and others if need be. There was desire in her heart, however, to bad to the place she was before and despite her hardest effort there was still were little twinges of fear that came along with the memories.

Iden Colewall

Iden slowed to a stop as he found the room, just knowing which one it was. Some days he loved that ability, but other days he really hated it. Especially when it told him that something wasn't going to work out, though that wasn't necessarily the case here. The teacher was relieved to see that the room was a supply room, meaning that he'd have an excuse for being there other than the "feeling" that something was wrong. Iden turned the knob and opened the door slowly, finding a girl with dark hair sitting on the floor.
"Oh pardon me, I didn't know anyone was in here." He said, looking somewhat surprised.
Hopefully he wouldn't have to push her too much to get her to talk.

The lights had flown into the room, causing her to squint her eyes harder. Slowly, she opened them to see a teacher there. She attempted to pull back a bit, not quite sure what to say for the moment. "...No.. I-it's fine.." She stuttered softly. Her hands went up to rub at her eyes for about five seconds, then she got up slowly to her feet.

Iden Colewall

Iden watched as the girl pulled away and claimed that his intrusion was okay. He watched as she slowly stood and waited until she had completely risen to her feet before speaking again.
"That's good to know." Iden said.
He paused for a few moments before speaking again.

"Why are you in here?" He asked her curiously.
Students weren't typically found in supply closets unless they had been told to go there by another teacher, so it was a little odd to be seeing her there. Iden figured that if anything this would spark a little bit of a conversation.

My life was ripped from my hands...

xxxxxxGet over it...

Hey, Delos, I know you hear me! Don't ignore me! I hate being ignored! The airiness of the voice was sweet enough to make one think that the owner was nice, but there was a sicking way it rolled the words as it spoke. The dark blond merely rolled his yellow eyes. "Be quite you annoying parasite!" The boy hissed to himself out loud as he wandered the halls aimlessly, in the crook of his arm, he balanced a notebook was was jotting down what his was seeing. Now, now. Don't be that way love, I just want to help. The way the voice said he wanted to help made Delos shiver uncontrollably. "Now, shut your trap, Lucifer! You never help and you never will help!" The faceless voice scoffed. Keep telling yourself that, but if it wasn't for me, you'll still be rotting away in that freakin cage. Delos stopped in his tracks and glared at his note, if only the voice had a face so I can sock it in the nose! Oh, that's cold, luvvie...

Gotta love a Greek boy!<3

Aww crap.. The one thing she had forgotten temporaily; the reason why she was in the dark storage room. She may as well tell the truth, eh? If not, well she'll be beaten. "Well..." She started, somewhat remembering the reason, "I'm still not accustomed to the living arrangements here at the school after three years.. Just being in the dark calms me down." She explained. Would he accept that? Who knew.. Maybe he'd be upset and order her to her room or something. She loathed her own room because it was too fricken bright for her taste. But she would never say that. That'd be a smack to her face.

Iden Colewall

Iden listened to the girl's explanation, nodding when she spoke of not yet having grown accustomed to the school. He couldn't blame her, he was still trying to adjust himself. A lifetime of bouncing from place to place didn't really help one accustom to settling down.
"I understand." Iden replied, thought not because of the feeling better in the dark.
The dark didn't allow for pleasant memories.

"I'm still adjusting to this place as well." He elaborated.
The teacher was beginning to feel that this was gong to take awhile, but he supposed it didn't matter. It gave him a reason to put off grading and it was something he was supposed to be doing, according to the headmistress.

Dream Nights

Not much of a dream...

Dream quietly watched them before a few more seconds before peering forward. It seemed that the other vision girl would continue torturing him with that piece of information until he broke down in fear and tears. Or maybe it was that single comment left to dry that would break him down in tears. Dream suddenly lost her interest, and turned, walking down the hall. She sheathed her blade as she turned the corner, and disappeared. Literally.

For a moment Dream's image seemed to hover in mid-air, before it became distorted and then disappeared completely. Dream had done all the social interaction that she felt like enduring that day. A single conversation, no more than a few sentences... people didn't need to have long conversations with Dream. And she didn't need to have conversations with them. There was a darkness that surged around Dream, even if she wasn't visible. Perhaps it was just the anger she carried around her.

...She's more like a nightmare

He made not a single sound as he moved, his walk was smooth, efficient, and had no wasted movements. It was almost eerie how he could move without a sound, frightening even. He passed doors, hallways people; all unawares that he had just passed them. Alexander stood quietly for a moment, letting his heightened hearing do its thing and eavesdrop on the many conversations. Granted he was bored, and granted that he could interrupt one of these conversations but he was just too lazy to even bother with either. Quietly muttering something under his breath he continued toward the sound of voices. Quickly changing his mind he turned down another hallway, diverting his path. Maybe he could find something interesting to do? Perhaps sneak in a nap?

I find myself asking
Where am I? When am I? How am I? What am I? Who am I?
and as I drive myself insane,
More importantly.
I drive myself to the edge wondering
Why am I?
And does anyone care that I even am?

The girl looked at the teacher, slightly tilting her head in confusion. Weren't all teachers used to being around here? Wasn't she, an "ugly person", supposed to be lectured? She only found peace in the darkness because she, normally, wouldn't see anything, but for her cat-like senses, the darkness was as if it was daytime for normal humans. "...I.. see." She said. "Might I ask if you need anything from the storage room, since you came here?" She asked.

Iden Colewall

Iden noted the girl's confusion, but he didn't say anything on it. His mind quickly fabricated a reason for his being there that didn't reveal that he had come expressly to check on her.
"I just need a box of tissues." The British teacher said.
He supposed it wasn't an entire lie, especially in light of the nosebleed he'd had a few minutes ago. Too bad it wasn't cold season, then Iden could say the tissues were needed because of that.

substance of the ambitious is merely the shadow of a dream."

She nodded as she walked to the other side of the closet and reached up for a medium-sized brown box. "We have some here.." She said, pulling it down. As she did, she stumbled a little bit as she balanced the storage box in her arms. She brought it down to open it easily, revealing smaller sized tissue boxes. "How many do you require, professor?" She asked, looking up at him.
