Slough Feg, the new academy (Open and accepting)

---Slough Feg---

After the destruction of a few other academies for the gifted on Earth, many have no choice but to flee the growing danger of their home. Slough Feg, and Academy and University in another world can provide this. It's an open invitation, any who have been pursued for being extraordinary can come at any time here. They might have received a letter, they might have heard from the rumors, they might have seen an advertisement or maybe even been recruited personally by a staff member. Either way, the school is formed from various races and even more varying powers. But be warned, while the school is safe, the land outside is twisted and strange, filled with the most amazing and frightening things to ever be seen in any world. The city of Daggerhall, the sky island of Asgard, the Obsidian ocean and the Cemetery plains are not places that can be easily traversed or reached but they all hold great things and mysterious pasts. The land is open to explore, the teachers are always around and the possibilities are endless. Please enjoy your stay at Slough Feg

---The Kingdom---

Slough Feg, the castle that used to belong to the kings of a twisted and abhorrent version of Earth. Their own world, students of the old Academies and Universities come to the castle as the last bastion of superpowered people. People with strange abilities and mysterious races to those who have never heard of the world that tries to hide from the people of Earth. Pushed away from their world, they arrive via trains and portals to the castle by hundreds. The place teaches all those between the grades of Elementary to Post graduate degrees in everything from everyday jobs like doctors and engineers to a bit more complex tasks such as creative power usage and potion making. Slough Feg was donated to the cause of education by the kings of the region ho have moved to the realm of Asgard. Well, not the literal Asgard as in like the sort of kind of version of Celtic heaven but the place was just called that. Through a tree called Yggdrasil (Also not THE Yggdrasil, just named that way) one can reach the island in the sky, Asgard, where the kings and queens and princes and princesses of the realm now reside along with their most faithful men and women. They have passed on to be the new staff of the Academy along with their duties of keeping the realm in order and safe.

Outside the castle lies a forest. Like on Earth, the forest is made of trees. Duh. Unlike Earth, these trees are rather strange. They grow like they're dead and many of them are more animal than trees. They hold various aspects from different tree types on Earth. A section of the forest is even colorful, compared to the dead-like region of most of the land outside. Basically, if you can imagine the flora, it's there, from the usual oak to the unusual nutbitter (Don't ask why we call it that). This probably also goes for the fauna. Ever hear of the upside down face smiling panda bear? Well, it's here. We have from the usual bears and dragons to the unusual dragonbear. They all roam the forest, the skies and oceans. Speaking of the ocean, while close, it is hard to reach. The cliffs of the ocean are not only various hundreds of feet above sea level, but they also extend right before the sea high up in jagged, thin mountains, making it hard to traverse them. The other side is a steep dive into the always aggravated waters of the Obsidian ocean. The only easy way into the ocean is through the port of Daggerhall, the only city in all of the kingdom. While it may be the only city of the kingdom and it holds more than ninety percent of the population, Daggerhall is quite suited for this. It is HUGE, expanding massively into the wastes as far as the eye can see. It starts out small near Slough Feg, near the area of the docks where the buildings are no bigger than two stories. But as it progresses further inland, the structures of the city tower over the ground.

Why is Daggerhall the only city of the kingdom? Because the rest used to be a warzone. Yes, it is large but it is only a portion of the land of the kingdom. The rest of it is a graveyard dedicated to the lives of the people lost in the wars before peace came to this strange land. The gravestones range from smaller than a person to more than a thousand feet tall and all of them are made from diverse materials, from stone and wood to diamonds and steel. The land is almost completely filled with there graves and in the parts it is not, there are caves and strange rock formations. Some giant statues spot the land, dedicate to great heroes and warriors but what everyone wants to sight see are the old ruins. Places that used to be used for dark rituals, many still intact. Whether they be huge, castle like constructions or smaller altars, they seem to be all over the land and fallen into disuse. But they still hold dark secrets and strange stories that have yet to be completely uncovered.

1. I am the Lord and like any God I demand two things: Obey my rules and spell my name with a capital letter or I shall punish you severely ^^ Also, I demand that you treat Akai_Sora13, Ryu Shido, Lily of the Night and Aqua Snow Wolf with the same respect as me.

2. Send all the profiles to me with the title "The lord of weird from Slaine" so I know you read the rules. Also, no posting until I accept you or your not accepted.

3. Look, we're all adults here. We've had the birds and bees talk and all the sorts. I'm totally cool with a bit of swearing and all the romantic stuff but please, even the eight year olds know the TOS here. No cybering.

4. There is no rule number 4. I hate the number 4.

5. Questions? Comments? Not my problem but I'll be a nice guy and help you out anyway ^^

6. No adding, removing, killing or making characters or places in the kingdom that I have not approved. When you kill, be sure to ask and it still has to go through me.

7. Please say when you're going to leave for a while or a long time. We get it, just don't drop out of nowhere.

8. I also hate the number eight but the eight rule is kind of important. No one liners. At all. Tell us if you're blocked or hurried at the moment,again, we understand. But if you just can't get past three sentences in any post AT LEAST then you're just being lazy. Remember, thoughts, movements, words and the like. There is a lot you can do in a single post.

9. Spelling. I can't stress this enough. We all have internet and word and spell check. There is no reason for bad grammar and spelling. I will seriously kick you out for this.

10. 5 character limit. And please, if you have more than one, use it. Of course, there can be special occasions where a person might make a character for plot progression. These don't need profiles but must die out or be left out after a while. Any other character MUST have a profile. Also, characters can be given to others, this is an exception to the rule. Children are also an exception.

11. I just have to make sure this is out there, watch the OOC posts. I've always kept quiet about it but whenever a person leaves the thread it's usually for either being ignored or because this becomes more of a chatroom. Please, I will put up an OOC only forum but seriously, we need to keep the ammount of out of character speech down.

"Worst... Train ride... ever..." Ron mumbled as he smashed a window and hopped off the side of the train and then onto the ground. He had carried a few people out of the wreck and placed them down on the ground near the crashed vehicle. He looked around at the odd new school. He scratched the back of his head for a second, wondering exactly what they had gotten themselves into. "I think I was just corrected by God. Looks like we have one hell of a ride ahead of us..." He mumbled and looked around to see if everyone was okay. He could see something in the distance. It hit him like a rock to the face. Whoever it was was unlike anything he had seen on Earth. "I already hate this place..."

Adam punches a hole through the door of the frontmost boxcar. He climbs out and jumps to the ground. "Help, there are students injured on the bus, we need medical attention!" he yells out. Through the dust of train's crash, he could hear someone coming. Whether to help or fight, he didn't know. But something told him that he'd soon find out.
